Question: What do you think about this? Should one trust leftist men?

All of you know how dire the situation is for women in India and All of you also know Gandhi. He's supposedly our father of nation (honorary title, not by law). Leftists in India idolise him as their godfather because of his principles of ahimsa (non-violence). The Indian Left often questions societal norms and women's safety measures while conveniently ignoring what their so called mahatma's ideology was.

Mr. Gandhi advocated for women in disobedience movements yet he firmly believed women belong in the kitchen and that their primary work is nurturing children and taking care of home. He believed a woman cannot be harassed is she possessed enough moral and spiritual strength.

He is also infamous for his widely known celibacy experiments with his female acquaintances and his own granddaughters, abha and manu. Mind you both of his granddaughters were teens when he did this. To prove that he had enough self control, he slept naked with multiple women.

A lot of people do not that Gandhi was racist too. He believed and wrote to the brits that they should treat Indians better than South Africans because Indians are better than blacks.

Mr. Gandhi also opposed modern contraceptive methods and believed women should resist their husbands instead of using contraception.

His own wife, Kasturba, was gravely ill due to malaria but he denied any sorts of modern medicine to her and made her stick with ayurveda until she died of the illness. Months later when he himself caught malaria, he was treated with modern medicine. Funny how he dodged ayurveda immediately when it came to his life.

Indian leftists conveniently ignore all of this and worship him like he's a god. They defend him with their lives. Funny how these are the very people I thought were feminists and balanced with morals and ethics. It wasn't until yesterday that I realised even they care about us when it supports their narrative.

ps. I'm not saying the right is feminist or that right treats women better. The right wing in India hates us. But I didn't even expect these morons to be feminists.

I'm disappointed that even the left doesn't care about us considering the fact that feminism is a leftist ideology.

I feel terrible and I can't sleep. Reason of rejection is that I have never seen him as something more than a friend.

So this was my second drop. I'm scoring 524. Cutoff in my state will be 554 around.

Now I might get a semi govt. college in round 3 for around 55 to 60 lakhs but the problem is it's a gamble. I might get it, I might not. I have another option to go for CG college RIMS for 65 to 68 lakhs. Now I'm from a middle class family. We can afford only upto 55 to 60 lakhs so if I take this college, we are going to be hurt financially and might have to take a loan during last year.

Now some people are telling me that take a 3rd drop, prepare diligently again and get a gmc next year. Save this money to spend on your post graduate. Are they right?

I'm scared of judgment from people if I take a 3rd drop but my parents are pretty supportive. And they're like if you decide to take the 65 lakhs college this year, then you have to hustle during pg and get govt. no matter what because we won't have any funds to educate you further. And if you take a drop and get a gmc next year then we will not let you take multiple drops during pg and will pay for your seat if you don't get govt then.

So Hi everyone. I'm getting 528 marks in re neet 2026. It was my second drop. My state cutoff is expected to be around 533. Well because govt. increased reservation to 50%. Last year, there were 836 UR seats. This year they have reduced it to 527. So I'm not getting a gmc most probably.

I cannot bear to take another drop either. It's a gamble. A huge gamble, since we don't know what might happen next year. They are changing the pattern as well. I was scoring 610 in neet 2026. My marks dropped significantly in reneet.

Now, I will get semi govt college in my state but the catch is govt has also increased it's fees used to be 5.5 lakhs/ year. And now it is 8.5 lakhs/ year. Mind you this is only course fees. Hostel fees and transportation fees are gonna make the total bill to 10 lakhs/year.

I come from a proper middle class family. My dad says he can pay around 25-30 lakhs without landing our family in trouble. But more than that may cause financial havoc in my house. So for the rest 25 lakhs, I gonna have to take an education loan. I am very conflicted about this. Should I do it for a semi govt college? I have always wanted to be a doctor. I know doctors don't get paid enough but I still wanted to be one.

However, looking at the scenario. I'm thinking of leaving it all behind and taking veterinary but my dad won't agree for that. It was his dream too. He thinks vets don't get respect. And that he will always have the regret of not being able to pay for my complete mbbs fees.

I honestly don't know what to do. I have bawled my eyes out.
