80% overall grade based on exam and test?

Hey guys recently a lot of my courses have been changed by the coordinator so that 80% of the grade will be from the exam and the mid term exam. Is this normal because they decided to remove numerous practicals because they didn’t like it.

Minecraft Server with friends (sticky situation)

Currently me and a couple of friends have decided to rent a server with mods and are willing to split the bill amongst ourselves. However, currently there has been an argument with the mods because 4 of them wants to add a bunch of mods like 100+, while me and the other 2 wants to keep things simple with less than 20 mods. Not sure how things are going to work out because their reasoning is that they have spent days and hours finding the perfect combo, but in reality I really don’t care about the mods as none of the things I truly wanted was there.

It is like a 1 year long server rent that needs to be paid.

Adding an ssd to MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk Max WiFi AM5 ATX Motherboard (noob question)

I got a custom built PC and have no idea on how the SSD works. Like I know there are three slots 01,02,03, and 04, but not sure which ones are for Gen5 or 4. Recently I wanted to add in a ssd for more storage and not sure if I can add it to 04 as I am not sure how to remove the GPU 9070 xt which is in the way.

Anxious about tmr result release

Is there anyone else like me who is a bit anxious about TMR result release. This is my first year in uni and I feel like that my grades should pass, but still feel about the grades I might get because of the exam hurdle.

Like nervous about what would happen if I get a 45-49 or miss the hurdle. Like do I haven’t been revising for so long that at this point if I had to do another exam I will not do as good as before. Anyway if possible if (i mean if) I get a 45-49?

How does breaks work in a long shift

Normally I have my 3h shift, but received my first 8h shift TMR. I am a bit unsure on how the meal breaks work, like do I need to clock out and clock back in when taking the break. Also do I need to let someone know because most of the time I am unsure where my supervisor is in the store.

Building a new PC need suggestion on current components (Australia)

Currently, I’m in Australia trying to spend 3500-4000 for my first PC mainly from centrecom.

This is my current build that I have selected to buy from centrecom, but I’m not sure if it will work can someone take a look and give me other suggestions to improve it without increasing too much price and see if the whole things is compatible. Trying to get my first PC and is thinking about building myself or letting them build and have gotten some suggestions from friends.

My friends talked about there was a rating for each components. Not sure what he’s talking about, but I generally want something that is a bit quieter and less heat. Additionally, do I need more fans or just switch to a liquid cooler?
