Just got my Phonak Audeo Sphere l90 aids yesterday.

Upgraded from standard UK NHS Phonak Naida. Very curious to hear people’s thoughts on these aids. This is my first time using Ric aids which are far more comfortable I can tell already - its too early for me to really comment on sound yet but my first feeling of that I’m quite impressed with the battery life so far knocking 45-50 hours on one charge. They feel crisper too, some things feel too loud and many ‘s’ sounds are very ‘ssshssssey’ sounding. People I think seem to be able to hear me better over Bluetooth phone calls on busy streets.

Any tips?
I really want to get music sounding as best as possible.

A Cool idea I don’t think they’ve explored.

So we know and love our favorite band for all kinds of reasons. Across their career The Cure have used a pretty vast pallet of sounds and shades with their music. Something that frequently comes up is the use of largely synth led artificial string / orchestral sounds and tones it feels sort of occasional when a real for instance violin comes out for instance on To Wish Impossible Things.

After watching the live This is a Lie video that was posted to celebrate 30 years of Wild Mood Swings it really got me thinking that to my knowledge they’ve never done a bunch of gigs backed by an orchestra augmenting their songs to the grandest form behind the band live on each song.
I know I’d pay good money to see them do something like this. Off the top of my head a bunch of songs excluding stuff from Disintegration (cos they all would) that would work in this setlist.

Imagine how dramatic songs like these could sound:

Underneath The Stars
Alone
Burn
Lost
Cut Here
Hanging Garden
Sinking

After just writing a few songs I realized that the list will easily get too long and I’m at work! But you get what I mean anyway I’m thinking along the lines of what Nada Surf did with the Peaceful Ghosts live album.
