I’m new to mini orchids. I picked this one up a few days ago and got distracted and forgot to ask the shop owner for care advice. Should I remove from the bark or keep? How often should I water it? Should I use low strength orchid fertilizer? Doesn’t like humidity? Any information? :)
My normal routine with a new Hoya (and most plants in general) is to leave it alone for 2-3 weeks (sometimes longer) but this time is different because it’s in soaking wet super dense soil. My instinct in these situations is always that I want to remove it asap but wanted to know your thoughts!! Should I just sit it in front of a fan and try to give it the best airflow possible to dry some of this soil out?
Not real MCM but is solid wood with a metallic inlay that I kinda dislike. Wondering the odds of me being able to remove it and fill it before sanding the whole piece and re-staining it might be? Has anyone ever attempted this? I can’t wrap my head around it not being super obvious but then again I’ve successfully hidden a lot of weird stuff on furniture lol. I’m already replacing the hardware and legs so might as well do the whole thing I guess!
Purchasing, not selling. I think it’s absolutely beautiful but I have no real ideal on what something like this is normally sold for. Any thoughts? :)
I moved recently and decided to try to up my game with plant lighting. I have a few plants sitting on top of my plant cabinet. They’re all in clear pots (except one Hoya) and in a chunky mix, watered and fertilized regularly. A Tortum, an Anthurium, a Dischidia, and three Hoyas. I’ve got a barinna light above them right now and this is what my little meter is reading near the plants. Is this even close to enough light for these plants? If not, would anyone mind giving me some lighting tips?
Take it easy on me I’m a Hoya head and this is literally the only maranta I own 😂 This plant was literally twice as full six months ago and it’s been dropping leaves like crazy. Any advice? Should I just chop and prop at this point? 😬
I’ve got three plants that have clearly outgrown their trellises. I’m ordering 7 inch trellises but I’ve actually never had to re-trellis a plant before. The last time I took a Hoya off a trellis I ended up just letting it trail. I’m so scared to unravel it all! Any advice?

So I have tickets for the tour in Charlotte on 8 Sept. Unfortunately I wasn’t aware of the date when they were purchased and that date is also the anniversary of losing my mom. It’s just not something I can handle doing right now emotionally as much as I’d love to see HW. As of right now Ticketmaster isn’t letting me resell the tickets so someone who can go can have them. I’m not trying to make money off of this, it’d be cool to get the money I spent back but that’s it. Does anyone know if and when resale will ever be available for Charlotte so I can offload these really good tickets to someone who wants them?

I’m hoping if the person who took these items off the lawn sees this they will have a heart and bring them back. We had some belongings in our car that were taken out so the car could be cleaned. The items were from my mother who recently passed and they meant a great deal to me. The person cleaning the car stepped away and left them there. We believe maybe someone might have thought they were free. This occurred somewhere between 5 and 6 pm today (22 July) at 1015 1st Ave S. Please, if you have these items, I will literally pay you for them to have them back.
I’ve had this plant for nearly a year and it has grown exactly none lol. I mean literally zero leaves. It’s in a nice chunky airy soil mix, it gets fertilized just like my other Hoyas, and it’s got plenty of light! I even gave it a baby trim in hopes it would encourage some growth. What am I doing wrong? I feel like everyone always says this is such an easy Hoya to grow but uhm… not for me. Any ideas?

I just received this in the mail a few days ago. It was trailing a bit but all of that was dead and really sun bleached so I cut it off. It was 2 day shipping so I suspect it pretty much looked the same when it was shipped as when it arrived. There’s still green but the roots are sad and it was falling out of the soil. Super bummed but wondering if y’all think it has a chance?

I’m in the process of finding a doctor (I just moved to a different state) and I was wondering if anyone on here has switched from a standard prescribed mini pill that uses norethindrone to the o pill that uses norgestrel. Me and the mini pill that I’ve been on for over a year now get on very well. I have no complaints but I’m trying to find out if that will change if I switch? Like will the difference between active ingredients have an effect on me? *The reason I take the mini pill specifically is because I am Factor v Leiden and cannot have estrogen in my birth control due to previous blood clots.
