Yes, crossbows tend to have better armor piercing and with some factions you can get them earier, but they're SO BAD at shooting on uneven terrain and of course they shoot at about 1.5 times slower than bowmen and with less range, but they're better than nothing so its cool.
Advantages: Jerusalem is placed pretty close to some sweet marketing nodes, your general gets good traits, no upkeep for the army while on crusade, (a pittance of 1000 florins as reward), all army units get 1 free xp chevron.
Disadvantages: you gotta spend a ton of cash to hold the city and surrounding areas, the populace hates you due to distance and religion, because of religious differences you get tons of heretics/witches, the enemy merchants will destroy your newer ones so no chance to exploit economy, early-midgame you don't have that much cash, the mongols will eventually appear.
I still do it occasionally if i happen to have an army lying around and i can recruit neat crusader knights and unhorsed knights.
Here piggot says that the anon message from a 300 dollar tip said 'i donate anon because i don't want to get harassed'.
First of all, that's just piggie lying to himself and to his 3 remaining dents. So weird this anon guy talks exactly like piggot.
Second, and defining evidence, he said "he tipped last week and this is what they have to say".
So to get this straight, a long time fan of piggie saw that his paypigs were getting harassed and continues to give money to the worst streamer possible, OR, the reality: piggie, who totally doesnt care about the trolls dood, went to twitter and came here to read that the donations are being faked because, again, no big streamer ever just casually gets 300 or 200 dollar donos per stream, zero, came over here and gave that message.
Piggie is literally reading this reddit and twitter and created this argument just to try to play it off that he fakes donos to himself.
EDIT: Also, remember that he's banned from Streamelements so he can't just show that and has to do it manually, these people did not exist before until after he got banned from streamelements, piggie reads donations as anonymous but donations do have names, so he either gets a donation of 300 bucks from an account that got created using a false email and is called anonymous, or he gets the donation, opens it, reads it says 'call me anon' and then says "I JUST RECEIVED...". It's all nonsense, he's faking donos to try and look successful cuz he wants to open packs live on stream.
Even when he gets the 300 'anon' tip he doesn't even flinch, just like 'so uh got a THREE. HANDRED. DAHLAR. donation' then goes back to playing as if nothing happened. This from the same retard that cries when he gets only 7 bucks and goes 'to the bathroom' to beg in his discord that totally doesnt exist dood and if noone answers POOF! exactly the money to reach the go... milestone.
Im trying to get 1 kill headshots with my guns, but the yellow skeleton bastards always end up ruining it. I can get 2 quick hits with Sandevistan so it's kind of possible, but even with gold pax mods it's impossible. Hardest difficulty, of course. I even cheated a save to test if Pride was really the end all stealth pistol but there are still some pricks that dodge it.
Save for editing items, any way to get around it or is it WAD?
MTW1 is the king when it comes to freedom of action (wanna marry your daughter? Aight, but you'll get bad traits!), but i miss the late game challenge of 2 big events they removed: the 'resurrected faction' and 'civil war' events added to the mongols/timurids/black death. By even turn 30 you're already a powerhouse, even with mods.
First of all, Genichiro, with the mortal blade of the underworld, brings back his grandfather Isshin Ashina back from the underworld and he has to follow his last request (save Ashina with the Dragon's Blood, so he would have probably killed Kuro to take his immortal blood with the Mortal Blade and i guess singlehandedly fight against the Interior Ministry, but that's besides the point). You're telling me THIS is prime Isshin? He looks malnourised and he's missing an eye! He had to lose his eye to become stronger!
Second, that cut on his stomach. Is that because he committed, at one point or another, Seppuku (ritual suicide), perhaps right before he died of old age or perhaps he tried to off himself due to some slight against his lord and failed/survived it? That scar is way too specific to just be there for no reason.
Just curious. I've seen it happen like twice in 20 years, but it's more about keeping them close to the enemy and watching them charge.
No more of those 'dsp is bad but this guy's worse', 'he's better than X at this game (false)', 'i used to donate to him'. Whoever manages this reddit should read them and instadelete them.
