Ok, I've just completed part 1 (the gathering). It was my first try, i used roland. Should i continue or redo with 2 character?

Kinda new to solo board gaming. I (just) completed part 1 and killed the ghoul priest solo with roland. Do you think i should continue true solo with roland, or as I've seen suggested start over with 2 characters now that i know the rules and play the rest of scenario 2 handed with 2 characters?

Thanks

Hi. New here and just started tidying my messy depression flat... What are the main differences you noticed in yourself living in a clean flat/space?

I'm looking for some extra motivation to keep me going for a week until its tidy again, probably for the first time in 3 years. I manage to tidy one room sometimes but it just piles up again.

My main question is what are the biggest differences you noticed going from a messy speace to a clean space? Hopefully hearing peoples experiences will motivate me a bit more, Thanks in advance!

Hi, new to arkham horror. Is getting the old deluxe version of dunwich and then all 6 mythos packs the same as getting the 2 new versions? Thanks

I think it'd actually be cheaper atm

Would you recommend playing with the online messages on or off for a first playthrough?

I can't decide as i don't want to miss things behind secret passages and there's no real way to tell where they are, but I also like having my own sense of discovery

First time player, question about quests in different regions

I'll start by saying im absolutely loving this game. Playing on death march with enemy upscaling on.

I've done all of the main quests in velen and all the big characters quests such as keira metz and dandelion. Ive also done about half of the smaller side quests, witcher contracts and the notice boards.

My question is do you think I should finish every quest in velen before i go to skellige, or go to skellige now and come back every now and then to do some velen quests?

The leveling up aspect doesn't matter to me as upscaling is on and the game isn't particularly hard anyway, just what would be best for immersion, the story and lore.

Thanks in advance 🙂

Coming from Xcom EW, should i play vanilla xcom 2 first or go straight to WOTC?

I basically only done one Ironman run on hardest difficulty on EW and somehow pulled it off. This was about 2 years ago.

Do you think i should start on vanilla xcom2 or straight to WOTC?

Hi, i beat EU about 2 years ago and am looking for specific tips on xcom2

Basically i beat EU on ironman hardest difficulty 2 years ago. I played a campaign on hardest difficulty first about 20% through to get the basics then went ironman. The major thing in eu was getting as many satellites up as possible or it would be game over.

My question is, are there any things in xcom2 that are as completely necessary to do quick as the satellites in EU? Not looking for general tips, just if there are any must do's. Thanks

Does anyone else find the novigrad section tedious and boring? New player here so no spoilers please

I was absolutely loving the game, doing alot of side content and even question marks, then i got to novigrad, slogged through until the menge quest and i just got too tired of the game for some reason, especially the novigrad parts. I haven't played it in months and am struggling to motivate myself to go back to it.

Does this happen for anyone else?

Does the game pick up again?

Thanks

Ok, I've maxxed out Cool and Body, help me choose what to spec into next?

This is my first playthrough and im playing on very hard.

I like snipers so i went fully into cool, then realised pistols also rock so im mainly using them and snipers.

Built into body for survivability cause i was dying quick.

What do you think my 3rd thing to max out should be?

I'm thinking my second playthrough would be more run and gun/melee, so im maybe better leaving reflexes until my second playthrough so it feels completely different? What else pairs well with run and gun/melee?

Any advice is welcome, thanks.

Hi, think im gonna get Mage Knight as my first solo game! Need advice on versions/purchasing.

I am experienced with board games but not solo ones. After a lot of research i think I'm going for Mage Knight.

My predicament is whether to:

Spend £110 on a new ultimate edition

Spend £60 on a (like new) bundle with the original game, lost legion, and shades of tezla. With wooden inserts and all cards sleeved.

Am i missing much by not getting the ultimate edition? If i wanted to buy what was missing for the ultimate would that be possible?

I have no idea which would be the better choice, so any advice is appreciated!

I played with the river surges on map A. No blight card and unlimited undos. I assume the logical next step would be to play without these 2 options enabled.

Im wondering what you would recommend for general progression after this. Should i stick to 1 spirit maps and use different spirits? Maybe go to 2 spirits?

Are there other ways to vary the game/increase difficulty?

Are the different maps easier/harder?

Thanks, again im a complete beginner, luckily won my first game 🙂
