Clapton CFC’s double header in Gijon starts with a 3-0 win for the Women's First Team against CF Llosalin.
Goals from Fiona Feckdefa, Lenny Holmes and Annie McGrath were enough to win it.
Emily Link made her first appearance since December after injury and came close to scoring.

CLUB STATEMENT
One week ago, Yate Town held an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) at the clubhouse for the club’s shareholders. It proved to be a truly historic evening.
The resolution to wind up and dissolve the Ltd company was passed unanimously. Shareholders also voted unanimously to establish a new not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC), returning the club to a genuine members-owned organisation with a “one member, one vote” principle, replacing the previous system where the major shareholders determined the direction of the club.
It must also go on record that the club is immensely grateful to the overwhelming majority of shareholders who voluntarily gave up their shares without receiving any financial compensation. Their selfless decision has made this transformation possible.
A special mention must go to Colin Pick, Peter Milton, Roger Hawkins, Picksons and Bob Lomas for their outstanding support and willingness to give up so much for the benefit of the club and its future.
This marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter. The new Community Interest Company will strengthen the club’s standing within the local community and the wider business world, while ensuring the club is run for the benefit of its members and the community it serves.
FC Community Of Liverpool’s debut season in men’s football begins this year, led by James Bush, lining up against some of the city’s most established names.
