Clapton CFC return to Men's FA Cup action this Saturday hoping to do some giant-killing.

CCFC have beaten teams from a division above a few times - but it would be a huge upset to repeat that against Concord Rangers Football Club, who have won all their games this season.

If scores are level at 90 minutes, there will be a replay down on Canvey Island in midweek.

There is a minimum admission price of £6 set by the FA for the Men’s FA Cup so we will need to charge this for standard admission. However, the usual concession prices are still available. This is only for Men’s FA Cup games.

Kick off is 3pm. Paying cash at the entrance is quicker but card is accepted everywhere too.

Gates and bar open at 2pm. We'll also have two outdoor bars - next to the clubhouse behind the goal and next to the seated stand.

Alcohol in cans is not allowed pitch side for FA tournaments. So if you buy a can, the bar staff will pour it into a cup.

It's the first midweek home match of the season against Wivenhoe Town Football Club riding high in the division below and who beat Frenford from our division in the FA Vase on Saturday.

We’ve not had any joy in the three years we've been playing in this competition, can we make it fourth time lucky?

If level at 90 minutes, we'd go straight to penalties for the second time in three days.

Opening day defeat in heartbreaking circumstances for the Clapton CFC Women's First Team 💔

Deservedly leading with around 10 minutes to go through Emily Link, but two late goals means they leave South London with nothing to show.

A perfect 5 out of 5 scored means they progress to the next round and Heybridge Swifts away.
