Man, the warp really likes warping things am I right?

Hello everyone here is the first of many Lachesian Sons of Medusa (I haven't fully decided which company they should be).

This Revered Armored Warhost of Clan Lachesis shall rend asunder any enemies of the God Emperor and Omnisiah that are foolish enough to get in front of their cannons.

Next I plan to continue sponge painting with some Intercessors to polish my technique and get a better feel for the style before moving on to my two Repulsor Executioners.

I painted it using the sponge painting technique, and I just want to say that is is probably my new favorite technique when it comes to painting miniatures. I would also like to give credit for my great success in this paint job to Medders' Miniatures on YT and Kaarna on Paint Pad. Medders' Miniatures gave me the courage to try out a new paint company as well which has come in clutch here.

Hi all, I finished this guy a while back and forgot to post it to the subreddit due to going into a table top game an hour and a half later. The lancer got tabled turn one by a doom crab lol.

They are done

While painting these guys I did some paint mixing for the first time, and it came out spectacularly

For the rocks I used Eshin Grey + White Scars

And for the helmet thing on the base of the second guy to the left I mixed lead belcher with Warpstone Glow for a very nice metallic green

This has been one of my favorite painting projects to date, and I hope you all like them too

Just finished my first Intercessor Squad :)

Though the Italian light cruiser did very well for what it was going up against

So I just started playing Ultimate Admiral Dreadnoughts this week, and wanted to ask why my battleship charges so far ahead of everything else in the fleet, it was a part of the same battle line as the USS Truxtun and USS Arkansas (which was the same class as the USS Mississippi).

Also it slaughtered the Japanese fleet in question :)

Comments were okay ish for the most part

The foremost one has had his sword arm crushed such that he can't use it properly anymore

The rearward guy has a pistol

I have finally finished both Sgt Jovan and Uriel Ventris.

I will soon finish my Ultramarines army as well :)

The flavor text in regards to the occasional vox transmissions, missives, and other such memories type sections are absolutely the best Warhammer I have seen in a Warhammer book. Better even than the play excerpts from The Infinite and the Divine. They just bring so much of the reality and bureaucracy of daily life in the Imperium to the fore.

I'm only about half way through The Wraithbone Phoenix, but the first vox cast on pg 19 was amazing and the above excerpt starting on pg 183 ends on a likewise stellar mark

Is the new Vanguard Veteran Squad really worth 110pts more in a Blood Angels list than an Ultramarines list?

For that price in an Ultramarines list I can get a whole 10 brick to a Blood Angel's 5.
