I just got a GT Timberline handed down to me from my dad. I want to change the quick release to Pinhead QR axles since I will be commuting to university, but I'm not sure what size to get. I took out the skewers I have and they measured 140mm and 175mm for front and back, this was including the threading for the nut on the other side but excluding the quick release lever. I'm not sure how the measurement of skewers usually works, and if its the same for Pinhead. If anyone has advice for what size I should buy for the front and back wheels, it would be very helpful! They offer 125mm, 137mm, 168mm and 197mm. My first guess is that 137mm for the front and 168mm for the back would be the correct sizes, but I want to make sure. Im less confident about 168mm for the back wheel.

Ive been working on figuring out my pillow for the past half year. I’m trying to switch from stomach to side and back sleeping. When I sleep on my stomach I don’t even use a pillow, most mornings ill find my pillow pushed out of the way and I’m right back on my stomach lol.

But because of this Ive been trying quite a few adjustable pillows and fillings, ive been mixing and matching stuff. Last few months ive using a latex noodle filling pretty densely stuffed inside a cube shaped pillow case which I chose to mimic the feeling of a high gusset (i couldn’t find any above 2in). I really like it and it has great neck support.

My only problem with this pillow is that I wish it was concave in the middle. I can move the filling with my hands and it will stay like that for a bit, but it always goes back while im sleeping. The cube shape is definitely better than the normal pillow shape as theres about equal filling in the sides as the middle, but it still isnt perfect.

Ive been considering tufting the center a bit to keep it concave, but I’m not sure what type of button I could use that would still be comfortable to lay on. Ive also been looking into kapok, I heard it makes the latex softer and more slippery. Im torn about it because I feel like the softness would be better at cradling my head and it would make it easier to adjust, but i dont know if the latex would be too slippery and itd take away the support (especially for back sleeping). Its a hard decision because once put it in I cant take it out…

I hate the way I present to others. I pass almost all the time, but I don’t look the way I see myself in my head. My face is so small with no robust features, my hair is fine and straight, etcetc. I’m in constant search of ways to improve my appearance for instant gratification but nothing really helps. Ill think I look good in my head and then ill see myself in a mirror, window or camera and it reminds me that I don’t look like a grown normal man, I look smaller, softer, and younger than average. It just nerfs my confidence like crazy, its hard to have confidence when my appearance is always in the back of my mind.

I wouldnt mind being unattractive if I at least had masculine features, but my dissatisfaction stems directly from my lack of them. Its very frustrating. I am only coming up on one and a half years on T but i dont have much confidence my face will change much. Its already changed some but I still dont like how my eyebrows arnt as thick as id like them to be and how soft all my features still are. I know its self sabotage to think like this and im usually better about it, but these past few months have been very rough.

Hello! I didnt used to have dry eye, but recently ive started taking medications that cause both evaporative and aqueous dry eye (isotretinoin and adhd stimulants). Right now I am using Systane Complete but it feels like it’s not doing enough. Do you guys have other recommendations? If you think its better to use two different drops, id also take recommendations for that. Thank you!

Im using the most recent desktop version of Nuvio, but i cant find any option to default to streams being opened in an external player, and there is also no option to open individual links in an external player. I prefer external because both in stremio and nuuvio i find hdr to be too dark and i cant see much. Is this an option that is available on desktop yet?

Im starting accutane in a month and ive read that the main reason accutane doesnt work for some people is because their acne was from hormonal issues. Im worried that being on testosterone might be classified as a hormonal issue that causes acne? Due to it being in slight fluctuation every week with peaks at the start and it tapering off at the end. If anyone here did accutane for T acne, did it come back after? Im a year on T if that matters.

I just wanna say the show was amazing, TK was great and the set list was awesome. I was really hyped during signal, the guitar in that song is my favorite and it didnt disappoint at all!! I was jumping and smiling the whole time. He was super engaged with the crowd and everyone cheered him on, it was super nice.

The staff at the house of blues was great except for the merch booth. They had one woman working there who was very slow. There was one man who was having card difficulties and instead of checking out the next person while he made phone calls, we waiting for 2 minutes while he was on the phone. Each person took probably 4-5 minutes on average to check out. I got there 2 hours early and i was was within the first 100 (non vip) people to get into the venue. By the time i was about 10 people away from the merch booth TK was already two songs into the setlist and i decided id rather miss out on the merch than miss Kalei de Scope and probably the two songs after that at the speed the line moved. At this time the merch line was still wrapping up the stairs, around the room and out the door, having only moved forward maybe 50 people? Ive been an LTS and TK superfan for six years and im really bummed i didnt get anything, but seeing TK meant more to me. Im really grateful i got to see him, i just wish i splurged for VIP tickets. I wish i knew how slow the line would be, because i could have been in the very front if i skipped the merch line.

The venue itself was great, it was beautiful and very intimate. I could see TK well from the spot i ended up getting, i was maybe 20 feet away from stage.

If anyone has merch they are willing to part with (small for hoodie, medium for shirts), even just a guitar pick, id be willing to pay 20 extra for it.

I hope everyone else enjoyed the concert. Those of you who skipped merch line, you made the right choice lol. This still doesnt feel real, im so grateful for the experience despite the struggle with the merch booth.

My mom in her words will “support what i end up choosing,” but its frustrating because i already HAVE chosen what i want and it seems like she doesnt believe me. For context im 20 but very close to and financially reliant on my parents during college. I wanted to explain my transness to them so they can understand and maybe we could through this process together but they honestly havnt been as helpful as supporting as i thought they might be.

I made the mistake of detailing that i dont have an internal sense of gender and that i feel agender. I told them that my presented gender might fluctuate in the future but my wants for medical transition are hormones and top surgery and looking biologically male and that wont change. Ive vented that im not sure what to do in terms of documents because of the current state of the US (and im in oklahoma) and that the future stresses me out because being trans in society is hard. I said that internally i may be agender, but id like to present to the world as a man as that would be the path of least resistance with the medical transition i want.

Now it seems like my mom thinks that im confused and dont know what i really want, and its frustrating. I was talking about top surgery because i want to start that process soon, but she seems adamant on me talking to councilors about my gender before i start anything. Im already on hormones and she asked me to go to a counselor before that too, i lied and told her i did. Im not sure if I could get away with that this time, but im also not sure why she wants me to go to the counselor again if from what she knows ive already been. It just feels like shes putting up these checks and balances to make this harder than it is, when really I just need her to help me right now. She thinks i will make a mistake but i know what i want. Ive told her that i wear a binder every day, that i have rib pain because of it, that top surgery would be a great quality of life improvement for me, but somehow i still need to go to counseling because maybe i don’t actually want this.

Im adverse to gender counseling because i dont trust them, especially in oklahoma. Im scared they will try to talk me out of being trans. It also just seems like a waste of money, and I’ve always struggled talking to mental health professionals because i get awkward about personal things and mask a lot of things. Ive told her this but she thinks I should go anyways. I dont think it would help me at all, but my parents dont see that. Its mainly my mom, my dad kind of just agrees with whatever she says about this. Im not sure how to get through to them. Im just frustrated and feel othered. It feels like i need to prove my transness to her instead of her supporting me. Shes usually supportive of me so it just kind of hurts.
