After a particularly nasty match involving Dredge, Yamoka estate, Pallete density and a shitton of teabagging, it's left a tad of a sour taste in my mouth- but I still want to play it, it's genuinely fun when not against sweats

And ngl, Hag and Trapper get way too much flack, imo. Being able to catch someone as they vault is always cathartic, and popping up where I'm not wanted is very, very fun

So far my mains have become Knight, Dredge and Unknown, followed by Artist and Trapper. I've also aquired Spirit and Doctor, who are both very fun to use- again, when not against P100s who play the game religiously.

Currently working on a side project about a senile wizard who knows one spell. Here's a test I made, settling on a presentation and animation style.

I think Jesse and BW's mouth movements need a few more tweaks, and BW's hair texture is definitely broken, but all in all I'm quite proud of this.

Power: Thrill Of The Hunt

The Skull Merchant begins the Trial with 5 Drone Charges. Upon sending out a Drone to Attack or Patrol, she loses a Charge. Upon the Drone returning or breaking, she gains a Charge either instantly or after 10 seconds, respectively. To send out a Drone, hold M2, then either press Attack or Power to have the Drone Attack or Patrol, respectively.

Patrolling Drones will head round the map in a loop, going from Vault Tile to Vault Tile. They can see moving Survivors, and, if a Survivor is within Scanning range for 4 seconds, the Drone will Lock On, following them around and revealing their location like a Sable sprinting like a headless chicken.

Survivors can break Patrolling or Locked On drones.

Attacking Drones will move in a Straight Line from where the Skull Merchant was looking, moving over some obstacles and through windows. If an Attacking Drone hits the edge of the Terror Radius, or an object, it will Return, flying towards the Skull Merchant. If it hits an object while Returning, it will Break.

Attacking Drones emit a Laser and Laser Trail that can and will damage Survivors. The Laser Trail will fade after 3 seconds of existance.

The Skull Merchant can press the Power Button while not Preparing a Drone to check the cameras of the active drones. While she is on Cams, the Drones can see Survivors, even if they are not moving. This is because, unlike the Drone's object detection AI, she is not stupid.

The Crooked is the corpse of an unnamed Guardsman pupeteered by a parasite in its third stage of aquiring a host. Despite its attempts to kill, it is a good sport, and will gladly let skilled prey leave (mostly) unscathed.

The Candlebearers are great groups of stone-made beings that once lived deep below the Raveyard. They will freeze in any light, but despise manmade sources- and by extension, those who wield them.

Whenever you decide not to lie, your Soul leaps out of the way of Carnation, and defeats yet another of the murderous Flowerheads, hell-bent on spreading misinformation for dangerous purposes... through you.

Bear Wizard and his relative are usually ready to drop everything and save the day! ...unless the thing threatening the day is particularly scary. Then they might need a minute.

Just got Plauge and Hag because they intrigue me, and I have a good amount left over for at least two Killers.

I'm not in a situation where I can spend IRL money on in-game stuff, so, despite my greatest wishes, I can't get Springtrap :( but I figured I should nab at least someone else, if only for the Perks.

So, when I was first starting out the game a few days ago, Dredge was on Free Trial so I had a crack and... wow. Bought. The second I had enough Shards.

Near-instant traversal around the map. Able to get to nearly any loud noise almost instantly. Killer Instinct and Undetectable during a big portion of the Trial, and- my personal fave- an Antiloop.

I was initially going for Huntress as my main, but she is loop target number one, apparently. Meanwhile, I have played like 5 Trials as Dredge today and gotten 4Ks every single time. It's especially good with perks like No One Escapes Death and the Healy Aura one, I'm able to spot and exploit weak spots with *ease.*

And yet, I keep seeing Dredge put in low teir categories. Why? I feel freakin' omnipresent in its shoes, literally grin as I close in on chase. Is it because the Remnant can be gotten rid of? The locks? What's the dealio?

It's disheartening, honestly. I remember Gorilla Tag and loving it to bits, but since that fateful Halloween when Ghost Reactor was first added, the game has been trying to shake off it's "Tag" part and ride Animal Company's coat-tails. Anyone remember Bayou? That was nice.

Well, if you want a game with some quality and effort put in for \*every\* player, content \*not\* locked behind paywalls, and consistency in gameplay and objective...

On the one hand, this godforsaken fish was handled terribly and is an inconsistent, underwhelming monster.

On the other hand THIS WAVEFORM MIX IS A BANGER. They even made Splashy and Steamy sound fantastic, even if very same-y.
