Pineapple bug instead of ginger?
I make ginger beer and tepache and I’ve noticed that pineapple ferments way faster than creating a ginger bug. Does anyone create like a pineapple bug instead of a ginger one to add to other fermentations?

Hey everyone, any idea what could be causing these spots on my mini Napa cabbages? Thanks!
I’m just in a different place in life and I’d like to cover or remove the skull. I’m always looking to cover it up when I’m picking out something to wear. I thought I wanted it for so long but maybe I picked the wrong place. Do you think it’s possible to cover it or should I just wait to zap it off?
I heard mixed things about using metal for fermentation but I know beer is fermented in kegs BUT I thought I’d still double check. I’m guessing a non reactive metal like stainless steel is ok? I have a bunch of these stainless steel protein shaker balls and was thinking it would be great to use to keep the produce submerged. I’ll be covering it with a lid and the balls will push the items down. What do you guys think?
Sok Sabai! I’m a 37F Cambodian-American and am looking for another female to practice Khmer with! I hope I can connect with someone fluent and learn more about my culture! Ideally, I’d like to voice chat to practice. Hope to hear from someone!
I’ve tried removing this buildup on the heating coil with emptied out vinegar cycles and soaks but it just keeps coming back. It’s leaving residue on my dishes but especially on glassware. I use fragrance free Clean People brand dishwasher pods. Do you think that’s the culprit?
I’m super new to using this device and it left me with some scabbing. I’ve started off slowly, working my way up with the discs and low setting. This happened with the coarse disc. The rest of my skin was able to tolerate it.
Is this to be expected or was it too harsh? How do I find the sweet spot? Should I use two different discs - a more gentle one around my cheeks?
I’m washing my face with a gentle cleanser and using fresh aloe and a fragrance free moisturizer. Anything else I can do to help with healing?
Thank you in advance!
Soup with a meal is a life saver!
1.5 scrambled eggs (made 3 and had half)
Fermented carrots (probiotics baby!)
1/2 serving Korean pancake
Soup: Pork broth, wood ear mushroom and wakame.
So filling and satisfying!
Hi! New here! I think the best way to satiate myself is to fill up my tummy to max capacity with the things I enjoy but bulk it up with tons of veggies. The dipping sauce is an umami packed sauce with a Cambodian fish sauce, Thai eggplants, spices, and fresh herbs. I had it on lettuce and slices of liver for max nutrition. Very low calorie, around 300.
