I have seen people asked about who return to the franchise in recent games. So is what I was able to gather based on research. Also, I did this because I have seen some misconceptions on who got new voice actors and who didn't. If I make any mistakes, let me know.

Who came back:

Barbara Goodson - Laharl
Michelle Ruff - Etna
Sandy Fox — Flonne and Marona
Grant George - Axel
Wendee Lee - Rozalin
Matthew Mercer - Valvatorez (He has been voicing Val since the Vita port of Disgaea 4. Which is why Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited and Disgaea 4: Complete has two different English clips of Val in the game. He ultimately took over for Troy Baker after Troy became a union actor)
Patrick Seitz - Fenrich
Carrie Savage - Artina
Kate Higgins - Fuka
Michelle Ruff - Desco
Cindy Robinson - Girl Laharl
Ben Pronsky - Killia
Kira Buckland - Seraphina
Amanda Winn Lee - Asagi (who has been voicing her since Disgaea D2)
Lex Lang - Ash

Some voice actors definitely sound different in Disgaea 6 & 7 compared to Disgaea 1-5, which might be a result of their age. As well as the poor voice direction, as the recording was done during lockdown in 2020.

The actors who didn't return:

Adell — Originally voiced by Shiloh Strong in Disgaea 2, who stepped away from acting after the 2000s. Adell was also apparently voiced by Todd Haberkorn in Disgaea 4 & D2. Currently, the character is voiced by Austin Lee Matthews.

Mao — Originally voiced by Vic Mignogna in Disgaea 3 (and the DLC in D4-D5). Following the uproar about Vic's legal troubles and allegations of sexual harassment, Landon McDonald stepped in as the replacement for Mao.

Raspberyl — Originally voiced by Laural Bailey in Disgaea 3-5, but she has since been replaced by Lizzie Freeman in Disgaea 6-7. It seems that Laura Bailey is now focusing on union roles, which may explain her absence from Disgaea 6-7 and other franchises she has been involved with.

Sicily — Originally voiced by Eden Riegel, but she has since been replaced by Amber Connor in Disgaea 7, who has taken over the role. The lack of explanation for Eden's non-return could be due to union-related matters or was simply never asked to return.

Usalia — Originally voiced by Christine Marie-Cabanos, the character is now voiced by Emi Lo in Disgaea 6-7. Christine Marie-Cabanos had some health issues which could explain why she didn't return.

Prier — Originally voiced by Jennifer Hale in La Pucelle Tactics, but in Phantom Brave 2, she is now voiced by Brenna Larsen. Not sure why Jennifer Hale didn't return.
