First time with Rogue Servitor and this map is too good to screw up - please help me plan
Might be the best planet feature I've seen, but I expanded too early and wrecked my economy for it
Is there any way to get Divine Sovereign back?
Part way through a cosmogenesis run and got tired of letting a next door fallen empire humiliate me to avoid war. Thought I was maybe ready to take them on. But an annoying ally, who keeps having insurrections, got me embroiled in another war and I kind of forgot the FE might attack. So several years later when my fleets are too far the FE declares war.
After token resistance, I realize I’m not getting anywhere without my fleets back in time and lose the war. No big deal I figure, just back to humiliated stance.
And that’s when I remember they murder my ruler. My immortal chosen divine sovereign ruler.
Losing him was annoying, but even worse was losing the civic and council position.
Any way to get it back? Shortly after I got the random event where immortality is given to a random leader - not the chosen title, just the power from the shroud generic one. Not sure if that will help, but a decade with nothing.
If it matters, I’ve turned down all covenants already, including the Whisperers, hoping to lose the chosen civic and forge my own path. Didn’t work for some reason so now I’m kinda just floating around the shroud without any of the powers…
Help with Knights in 4.3
So I thought I would finally try Knights of the toxic god, which I never messed around with much before. I get the general idea about how the knights work, but find the starting economy just absolutely terrible. I can’t even get enough alloys to claim one system for ages, and building more foundries etc. takes minerals that I also lack.
I saw that people generally recommend turning the archives district into a foundry one. Great in principle, but how long does it take to get the 1k minerals?
So hoping for some build advice.
My original idea had been to go citizen service for the unity and chosen for the Instrument +10% to resources and easier psionic ascension. (I realize psionic may not be optimal, but want to try for flavour)
Took very strong and unbreakable resolve.
Was spiritualist (required), militaristic (also required for citizen service) and authoritarian (often a go to for me since I like the edict for stability).
Any suggestions for opening moves? I assume I have to buy alloys but I have almost no trade. Do I need xenophile?
I also need minerals, to get alloys. Should I build more mining districts?
What do you build on the habitat? I noticed you can’t build housing. Do you build a medical centre for pop growth and amenities?
Any suggestions for ethics or first things to do for first five years or so very appreciated.
