Can't close my account because of Paypal credit. Can't call without being charged overseas.
Pretty simple. I need to close my paypal account because these chucklefucks couldn't keep a 1950's burglar out of Fort Knox and my card details have been stolen.
But I can't just close my account of course because I made the mistake of using their credit system and for some reason this matters.
Fine whatever, how do I close that? oh I need to call an AMERICAN phone number? brilliant, and what if I don't want to get bent over on hold for 30 minutes whilst racking up a phone bill?
Oh there's a UK number? well there may be on in practice but excluding the fact none of them speak a fucking word of the language when they do manage to google translate a response they're arguing that "paypal credit" is not "paypal".
Brilliant. Ya know people point out this app was made by Elon Musk and I get reminded of it every single time I need to do literally anything that isn't give them money.
I hate how so many job applications just, objectively lie about their locations.
The amount of jobs on Indeed, Reed, Totaljobs, LinkedIN etc: That are recommended to me because they're located close-by, only for me to do the barest research and find out they're actually 2 hours from me
Like..*You* know you're not gonna hire anybody from the surrounding area of what you're putting in. We know that, so why the hell do you advertize it like that??
Why tell me the job is located in Burntwood, Stafforfshire and then 15 minutes into an application you mention your location is actually Oxford?? I actually finished this application and got denied, ya wanna guess why? that's right! distance from workplace. What the fuck are we doing here?
Whether it's Electronique or QA who is making this decision??
Did we ever find out what the hell this was?
During his 2 hour "blackout" in the mall episode where he was "goofing off" he films this but never actually talks about it.
If it was a Nester it would have been illuminated, if it's Mr Whiteout you'd think it would be following him not sitting in a closet, and that doesn't explain the fuzzy white things in front of him.
Why did Air Nomads have children if the Air Nomads are based on an abstinent religion? are they stupid?
We all know that Air Nomads are based, quite heavily on Tibetan Buddhist Monks. Their robes, colours, shaved heads, beliefs in non-violence and freedom from earthly desires. And one of those earlthy desires is sex. Because of this, devout monks are abstinent. There are some that don't but these are not considered "traditional" and therefore Aang "Tenzin is my only son" Avatar would hate them. He is the leading resource on airbending after all.
We all know Aang is heavily devoted and protective of his culture and beliefs, being vegetarian and holding them steadfast enough to risk the entire world's safety by refusing to kill Ozai due to the sanctity. (Killing Vulturewasps and nameless mooks don't count because you should never let your values get in the way of aurafarming.)
So being such a devoted and steadfast veliever in Air Nomad, and thus Tibetan Monk, beliefs. Why did they have children?
I hate misleading "healthy" food!
These "protein" pancakes have as much protein in them as they do sugar. They have 10g of protein per 165kcal, well above the generally accepted 10g of protein per 100kcal.
10g of fat also ain't great for what is considered a "protein" dessert.
And you see this everywhere. Before protein it was low fat, I'm sure in 5 or so years it'll be fiber and whatever after that. There's youtube channels that do this, try to make objectively unhealthy foods sound healty via the design and generically vague statements and highlighting the parts you want the customer to read first. But actually seeing it really cements into place how bad this practice feels.
For the record I know about moderation, I'm not a protein junkie, hell I'm not even that healthy of a person. My issue is that my mom is dieting, and I just know I'm gonna see her eating 2-3 packs of these a week and thinking it's healthy because it says 20g of protein.
I hate this fake "full version" of "The Customer is Always Right"
THIS ISN'T THE FULL QUOTE!
It was made up! some random person on Tumblr came up with it and literally NOBODY on the PLANET decided to do an OUNCE OF RESEARCH.
There's a whole wikipedia article dedicated to this quote and NOWHERE is their evidence that "in matters of taste" was included!
The quote was coined around the time when customer service didn't exist at all. A company deciding to win customsrs back with "The customer is always right" rather than sayig "lmao, sucks to suck loser." because back then The customer was complaining about things breaking or not working right and not demanding beef at a kfc.
And even then it's only a more likely reason! we don't know the true meaning behind it! But what we do know is "in matters of taste' was NEVER apart of the original quote.
Why did the PS3 controller invert the use of bumpers and triggers?
Who came up with this? Why were they not laughed out of the room?
For those who don't have to subject themselves to the worst version of AC3 with this ridiculous layout. If you were stupid enough to have bought a ps3 to relive old childhood games and play the expansive library of exclusives you never got to touch because you played on an Xbox 360 throughout your childhood. You will be promptly slapped across the face as the game informs you that sprinting is your right bumper and the weapon wheel is your right trigger. Similarly aiming is left bumper, assassins are left trigger. With no way to change the layout.
I wouldn't mind so much but evidently even Sony knew this sucked shit because they immediately changed it to the proper and correct way for PS4!
So I would at least love to hear the reason as to why this happened. If anybody has any ideas.
What am I learning by drawing shapes?
That's what everybody tells you to do. Well some people say "just draw" but that hasn't worked out too well for me.

Everybody elses says tondraw shaoes. Circes, holes, boxes, cylinders etc:. They say tondraw tens, hundreds, thousands of them!

But *why*? Nobody *ever* explains what this does. What am I trying to do by drawing these shapes? What are the skills I'm developing? How do these shapes turn into more? It's all well and good for me to follow a tutorial on cubes or to draw 22,000 circles until they're a perfect 360 degrees but what does that mean for my art??

I have pages of circles now and it dawned on me I'm just...drawing circles. Am I supposed to keep them uniform? am I supposed to keep them clean? What have I just spent the last 30 minutes trying to do??
I don't recall this opening mate in any of the books 🫠
What's worse is I was totally oblivious it was a mate. My knight was on H6 to defend the Queen or Bishop taking that pawn, he kicks me off, I don't see my Queen taking the pawn for some god forsaken reason. I'm frantically trying to figure out hoe to stop that bishop from destroying my entire Kingsi- checkmate..

They say live and learn but I'm sure I'll forget about it in an hour...
Are the Kwench shakes supposed to be so thin?
As someone who's worked at a fast food place that sells milkshakes I know sometimes the milkshake machine just doesn't wanna play ball.
But this was lke drinking straight up flavoured milk. For something called a shake I'd expect *some* thickness, even melted ice cream doesn't get that watery.
Sega Is Officially Replacing Sonic The Hedgehog After 35 Years | They aren't. Sega's just producing a new Streets of Rage movie and the Sonic movie writers are writing it.
archive.phBeen playing Skyrim since the (patched) OG. Done hundreds upon hundreds of runs. Never had this happen.
I started a run in Anniversary Edition, am currently in the first room of Helgen and have acquired a level from watching Ralof kill 2 Imperials.
Update: I have discovered the reason. The game has given me a free level in Sneak, despite at no point sneaking or seeing it show up on my screen during the escape fron Alduin.
