Firstly, I've seen this DJ pop up a few times in Reddit already, and I know that the original owner of this bike is also active on here and has helped me out with identifying the specs when I DMed him. The bike has been listed for more than 3 months, originally posted for 1k and brought down to 900.

I was thinking of offering somewhere between 600-750, but I thought I'd ask this all-knowing Reddit page before taking action. From my DMs with the original owner and Marketplace messages with this seller, here are the specs I was able to figure out:

Frame:
It is a Cachet origin frame, built as a prototype (?) to experiment with a really short rear chainstay, as you can see the 26" wheel is rlly close to touching the seat tube. I assume its significantly shorter than most other DJs, making it easier to manual/do other tricks?

One thing worth noting is that the frame was repainted by the original owner, in this really awesome green color, so it may be difficult to check for frame cracks from usage by the 2nd owner (current seller).

Other specs:
Rockshox Pike DJ fork, 26" wheels with Goodyear Bigfoot tires, Shimano XT cranks, decent pedals, and decent brakes idk what model.

I am not able to figure out if there's anything wrong with the bike merely from the images, so I do plan on checking it out in person and possibly getting it inspected at a bike shop prior to buying it.

I just wanted to see y'all's input on what you would offer for this bike, or if there are any possible issues or things I need to watch for. If you read this far tyvm, I look forward to your input!

Right now im running a rockshox 35 silver RL thats 130mm, and I saw a nice fork thats got 150mm of travel. Ive been wanting to make the bike more aggressive and downhill focused so its better suited for the bike park, but Im not sure if 150mm is overboard and will damage the frame...AI says 150mm is on the edge of dangerous, and its safer to go with 140mm but that I can do 150mm with caution, what do you guys say?

First of all, I was not expecting there to be a Honzo Gang flair lol!

Just bought this Big Honzo DL 3 weeks ago on marketplace for 1/3 of its MSRP, costed me less than my old specialized Rockhopper so I’m very glad!

So far it has been a blast riding it, and coming from a coil fork XC bike this feels heavenly, especially on rocky descents. I was so glad that I could finally take my own bike to a chairlift bike park rather than having to rent a capable bike there.

So for some context, I took off the maxxis tire that u see on the floor and wanted to install the 2.8 tires that is currently on the rim. However, after installing it following a video, I’m having a hard time getting the beading to seat and pop into place when filling with air, both from that standing pump in video and from a handheld electric one. Any advice? The tires were given to me from the previous owner of the bike, and the walls of the tire were kinda pushed inwards a little bit, if that makes any difference. Literally any advice will be very helpful!

Found this 2023 Kona Big Honzo DL on FB Marketplace for 700, brought him down to 600$ and we are planning on meeting to check out the bike later this week. Would y'all say this is a good deal? Do you notice any issues with the bike from the pictures, that I may have missed?

Which of the two bikes would you guys get? The Kona is like 300 bucks cheaper, the fathom seller wont come below 1,000$. Something just feels off about the Kona, i think Im just not a fan of the matte red finish, coz it makes it look like an older model...

I ride downhill, but don't live near a proper ski lift park so not that aggressive downhill, most trails here also have lots of climbs, so I need something thats not weighing me down or too heavy for me to pedal up technical climbs.

Parts for both bikes seem to be stock as far as I can tell...

Also how ez is it to wrap a bike in a different color? I was thinking like a metallic dark green or silver from rvinyl.

Saw this on FB Marketplace, listing price is 1200$. I asked the guy why he has 30 of them in stock and he said they "used them in our office, bought new ones". I really like the look of it and I am yet to find a used PC with those insane specs for such a price, what do you guys think? Is it a steal, or could it be scam? (idk why I feel this way but I was recently searching for pressure washers and 3 people who were "resellers" had listed rlly good deals and when we planned to meet up they deactivated their account). LMK ur thoughts

Like the title says I'm finding it difficult selecting a good bucket seat coz all the reviews on reddit are mixed af, and theres always that one person leaving a bad review...I know its counter intuitive asking Reddit again, but i've narrowed down my selection to these 6 seats, just need yall's help eliminating some one by one till I find a winner. Heres what knowledge I've gathered on each of them:

1. NRG Prisma Ultra - $400: Professional racing seat, really good cushion/material, strong structure, overall positive reviews about it other than some ppl saying its kinda uncomfortable for larger sized bodies.

2. Fanatec GT Seat - $350: Sim racing brand, good structure and support, 2-pieces so slight durability concern, some ppl saying that the part at the front is lifted too high so is hard to reach pedals for shorter people.

3. NLR Elite ES1 - $400: Unique more bucket-shaped seat, very good durability reviews, comes with the 4-point harness so thats a plus, honestly not any bad reviews other than complaints for it being too constricted for larger bodied people.

4. Braum Venom R: $480: Professional racing seat, really good cushioning, can't find any bad reviews so far, but I haven't dug too deep into Braum seat reddit posts.

5. Braum Falcon R: $530: Again another Braum seat, more high-end/expensive, like I said can't find many reviews of it from a sim racing perspective online cause I havent looked hard enough. Would love yalls advice.

6. SimLab S1 Enduro Seat: $500: This one is brand new from Simlab, only been released in EU I think, but I heard they're coming to US in a July shipment, also Puresims in Europe has this for around 450 USD + 100$ shipping to US. From the few reviews online, most are praising, very good structure and comfort, holds the body in very good for long races, and good looking build. One concern is its a 2-part build like the Fanatec but no negative reviews of it yet.

For those of you out here searching for seats like me, I hope this was helpful, and for those of you who may own one of these, many of these, or have experience with any of these, please let me know your thoughts. Im hoping I can take any negative comments and use those to eliminate certain seats, but positive comments can definitely help just as much.

I went to a car show ystd and these are the pics I took, for some context I just started photography and this is literally the 3rd car show I shot, I wanna post these but first of all I cant even decide where to start with editing these...Usually I am able to kind of tell what parts I need to edit before I even open lightroom, but w these I cant tell. But at the same time, I need yalls honest opinion and criticism on these pics, because I feel like im still missing a lot of composition skill in many of these... (pls look at all of them if u can)
