Does anyone know the technical name of this utensil?

I've had it for years and it's amazing for stirring when cooking in a pan. Mine finally started getting misshapen and I would like to get a new one, but I don't remember where I got it or what it's technically called.

For a gas station brand, this is actually pretty good.

It's not going to win any awards, but it's not bad

This was rough

Way too sweet, it tasted more like maple syrup than root beer

53-59/80

Slowly getting closer to my yearly goal, and almost at the number I hit in 2025 (62). It turns out you can read a lot more when you stop playing video games. My next move might be to cut out TV too. My favorite this month was "And Put Away Childish Things" by Adrian Tchaikovsky. Everything I've read by him has been spectacular. I can't wait to start getting into some of his more popular stuff.

IBC is usually pretty safe, but this one was not great.

Cherry limeade is a pretty easy flavor to hit, but this one was a miss

Another great Asian market find

Very similar to EU Orange Fanta, but slightly better in my opinion

Both of these South Korean Dunkin' sodas are fantastic, but the plum might be the best soda I've ever had.

Ground bacon/beef burger with cheddar mixed in, tomato, red onion, and avocado. Garlic mashed potatoes and corn for sides.

All produce except for the avocado came from a local farm stand.

Did you know?

There's an Instagram account for someone trying to visit every Stewart's location.

Finally found it! Euro Deli and Market, Latham NY

I picked this up at a Euro import store. To me it tastes like diet but with the sweetness of original.

Underhill Children's Books

I just finished listening to And Put Away Childish Things, and I loved it. Does anyone else wish we would get the "actual" Underhill books? I would love to read them to my kids, and with Sanderson coming out with the picture books of his Stormlight in-universe stories I feel like there is a market for it.

Does anyone know what this means?

I'm not sure if this is the right sub, but I figured someone might know. I found this in my yard tonight and I confirmed it's not power, water/sewer, or anything my neighbors are having done. The only other utility to check is propane but they were already closed when I found it. Does anyone know what it means or a better place I should ask?

Probably the best rocket pop soda I've found so far. Fantastic job Aldi.

Can routes not be followed in reverse anymore?

I searched in this sub and r/pokemongo and I couldn't find anything on this. The closest was the issue two years ago when the default start point switched with the default end point. A route I created when they went live is still active, and I can follow it from the default start point, but it no longer shows as a reverse option when I click on the end point. I was always able to do this until a few weeks ago. I thought it was just a glitch, but it's still happening. Was there an update I missed? The end point is the start point for only one route, so it's not like it got crowded out.

Edit: Thanks for all the downvotes on an issue I'm having, this community is always so helpful and supportive. /s

Finally found it in NY!

And in my office vending machine of all places. I thought I was going to have hyped this up too much, but it's so good! My only complaint (if you can call it that) is that the carbonation is barely noticeable.

June Wrap-up (reviews in comments)

52/80: June was a busy month for me, so I didn't get a whole lot of reading done, though I did have two longer books. I am now caught up on DCC and I am interested to see how the story gets wrapped up in the next two books. I feel like the plot lines keep expanding, but maybe this is the tip of the knife and everything starts coming together quickly. Apart from my continued reading for a child in the way, the other 4 books were ones I had picked up over the years for free or cheap that I never got around to. None of them were that great, with the Ghosts of New York being barely passable. The Rebel Starfighters manual was interesting as it was written to sound like advertisements to purchase the fighters. It had lots of details on the "specs", which even to a lifelong star wars fan didn't make much sense. Now that they have finally been read, they're on their way to a little free library, where hopefully the next person will enjoy them more than I did.

Page supports for SLA

I remember a while back someone had posted about these little 3D printed supports for the pages of each SLA book so they could be put vertically on a shelf without the spine separating. For the life of me, I can't find that post. Does anyone remember this that can help me out? I would love to purchase some.

Can we get a Sub rule that fancasts need to include the actor/actress name?

Too many posts are just a picture with a comment OMG, wouldn't they be perfect for "X Character"? Not everyone knows every celebrity. Put ehri name in the post.
