Seborrheic dermatitis sufferers in UAE — who finally helped you?

Hello

I’m looking for recommendations for a good dermatologist in the UAE for seborrheic dermatitis. If you’ve personally visited someone who helped you manage it well, I’d really appreciate your recommendation.

I’m also trying to avoid unnecessarily expensive consultations, so if you know a good dermatologist/clinic that offers reasonable consultation fees, please share the name and location. 🙏

Preferably Sharjah or Dubai, but I’m willing to travel for a really good doctor.

Thanks in advance, everyone!

Career Change Advice Needed: Sales Isn’t for Me. What’s My Best Option?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some honest career advice from people working in the UAE or Saudi Arabia.
I have a **2-year BA (Bachelor of Arts)**, a **Hospitality Diploma**, around **1 year of experience in UAE real estate**, and **6 months of experience in DSA credit card sales**.

My original goal was to build a career in hospitality, but despite having the diploma, I wasn’t able to secure a job in that field. From my experience, it has been very difficult to enter the hospitality industry in the UAE without strong references or connections.

I’ve also realized that target-based sales isn’t the right fit for me, and I’m now looking to transition into a more stable office-based career with better long-term growth.

I’m currently considering:
Document Controller
Procurement
Logistics
QA/QC
Administration
**NEBOSH Level 3 (Health & Safety)**

I have a few questions:
Which of these fields has the best demand in the UAE or Saudi Arabia?
Which certifications are genuinely respected by employers?
Are there any courses that actually help candidates get entry-level jobs?
If you were in my position, which career path would you choose and why?

I’d really appreciate honest advice based on your experience. I’m trying to invest my time and money in the right certification instead of wasting it on courses that don’t add much value.
Thank you in advance for your guidance!

Offered Personal Loan Job offer today at Derby, Is Derby Group really as toxic as people say?

I’ve just been offered a sales job at Derby Group, and I’m looking for honest feedback from people who have worked there or know someone who has.
They’re offering a visa and a basic salary, with two options:
AED 2,050 basic salary with a monthly loan target of AED 350,000
AED 3,000 basic salary with a monthly loan target of AED 400,000
For context, I’ve previously worked in the DSA industry selling credit card products. There was no basic salary—it was purely commission-based—but despite that, I never experienced anything even remotely as toxic as what I’ve heard about Derby.
The problem is that Derby seems to have a notorious reputation in the DSA industry. Almost everywhere I look—whether it’s Reddit, Google reviews, or discussions with people in the industry—the company is described as having one of the most toxic work environments.
Some of the things I’ve repeatedly heard include:
Employees being expected to make sales calls on Sundays, even though weekends are generally the least productive time for selling loans because most people want to spend time with their families.
Being contacted and expected to work on public holidays.
Allegations that the company confiscates employees’ passports.
Constant pressure from managers and team leaders, making the workplace mentally exhausting.
What really shocked me was something I personally saw in the office today. There was a notice on the wall stating:
“If anybody in the office even changes the AC thermostat, the fine is AED 500.”
I genuinely couldn’t believe it. Imposing a AED 500 fine for adjusting the office thermostat feels completely disproportionate. To me, that kind of rule comes across as barbaric and raises serious concerns about how employees are treated. We’re human beings, not machines.
So I’d really like to hear from current or former employees. Is Derby’s notorious reputation justified, or are these stories exaggerated? Does the experience depend on the branch or the manager?
I’m trying to make an informed decision before accepting the offer. Any honest experiences or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Finished Season 4 in Just 6 Days… What a Ride! (No Spoilers Past S4)

No spoilers beyond Season 4 please! First-time watcher.
I just finished Season 4… and I can’t believe it’s only been 6 days since I started this show. I never expected to love Lost this much. I’m completely addicted.
Some thoughts:
I was actually happy that they finally got off the island and the Oceanic 6 made it out.
But here’s the thing I can’t get behind: everyone suddenly feels like they have to go back. I really hate that idea. You just escaped what was basically hell. Even if your life in the real world is miserable, I can’t imagine anyone willingly choosing to return to that island. Right now it feels a bit forced just to keep the story going, but maybe Season 5 will change my mind.
Jacob was finally introduced… but I still have no idea what to make of him. He just seemed like some kind of spirit?
Ben is still being Ben—lying, manipulating, deceiving everyone. I honestly can’t stand him. He’s one of those characters I love to hate.
Juliet joining Jack’s group was a great development. 👍
I was so relieved when Sawyer and Kate escaped the Others back in Season 3.
The freighter commandos were such a pain, so it was satisfying to see Ben’s side eventually take them down.
Locke is apparently becoming the new leader of the island? I’m really curious where that’s going.
And what is going on with Christian? Why is Jack’s dad speaking for Jacob? And Claire just left Aaron?? That had me saying, “WTF?!”
I was also expecting more answers about the Black Smoke Monster and the whispers in the jungle. Four seasons in, I still have no clue what they are. At this point, it almost feels like the Smoke Monster is somehow under Ben’s control—or at least Ben can direct it—but I’m probably missing something.
Finally, Desmond reuniting with Penny was easily one of my favorite moments of the season. ❤️
Overall, I’m still hooked and can’t wait to start Season 5.
Please, no spoilers beyond Season 4!

Just Finished S2 – Mixed Feelings (No Spoilers Past S2)

Hello everybody! I just finished the Season 2 finale in two days. This show is incredibly intriguing and addictive. These are just my thoughts
No spoilers beyond Season 2, please.

I just finished Season 2 and wanted to get this off my chest. I’m a little unsatisfied with the finale—maybe Bcuz I’m comparing it to the Season 1 finale.
The Season 1 finale felt more satisfying and exciting. We were constantly wondering, “What’s in the hatch?” The show gradually built up that mystery with Locke trying every possible way to open it, failing repeatedly, and then finally using the dynamite from the Black Rock. The payoff was fantastic.

The Season 2 finale, on the other hand, felt more like a setup for Season 3. Jack, Kate, and Sawyer being captured, and that purple lightning caused by the island’s electromagnetism—wow, that was epic. But the best part was the timer. Oh my God! When it was first revealed, it was pure nerve-wracking suspense. It became one of my favorite mysteries. The unexpected supply drop was also fascinating, and for the first time we learned that the “Godzilla thing” was actually the Black Smoke—though I’m sure there’s much more to it that will be revealed later.

One thing I’m still a little confused about is Desmond’s belief that he caused the plane to crash.
My understanding is that when he was fighting Kelvin and failed to enter the numbers, the system malfunctioned. The electromagnetic energy kept building up in the hatch, eventually pulling Oceanic 815 toward the island and causing it to break apart in midair. Is that the correct interpretation of what Desmond believes, or have I misunderstood it?
Please don’t spoil anything beyond Season 2.

And the saddest part was Ana Lucia’s death. 😔 She was one of my favorite characters from the moment she first appeared—because i loved her as Letty in the Fast & Furious.
As for Michael… oof. He went from one of my favorites to one of my most hated characters in just a few episodes. What he did to Ana Lucia was heartbreaking. 😔
One of the major reason I started LOST was because I loved Harold Perrineau as Boyd in FROM, so I was excited to see him here too. Big time disappointment 😔

What did you guys think of the Season 2 finale and Season 2 overall? Did any of you have the same experience as me, or were you satisfied with how everything played out?

S1 Ep 20 - Do no Harm , Hurt 😔

Devastated by Boone’s death , I wish he could’ve been saved by jack , but he tried his best and later realized by Boone you can’t save me 😔 very sad moment first main character of death. I hated the when Boone was talking about letting off the hook to Jack he could’ve told everything about the Hatch in the ground and yellow plane with the radio receiver but he didn’t that was bad writing.

Hate John Locke cuz he caused Boone’s death , also this over-aged dude is hiding so much from everyone, he knows more about the island , like you give island something you get back , and he knew Walt was the one who lit the fire to raft.

As for Shannon , she’s just a random useless character for now , but my theory is she’ll become one heck of a badass character development in coming seasons just like Carol in Walking dead.

I know I should avoid this sub due to spoilers however first time watcher sub-Reddit is completely dead atm, so please no spoilers 🙏🏻

No Spoilers, Just finished episode 4 , S1

The show is getting really good. Jack has started seeing a man in a suit and tie, and my theory is that there’s going to be a proper group living in the jungle—something like the Commonwealth arc from The Walking Dead: a fully functioning, self-sustaining community.

I don’t know if I should share my theories here or not. All it takes is one comment to spoil everything, and I’d rather avoid that. So guys please be considerate

[SOLVED]

I was gaming on my AULA F75 keyboard when it suddenly stopped working. I don’t have the original cable that came with the keyboard, but I tried using a USB-C to USB-C cable with my laptop and got no response.

I also tried switching to Bluetooth mode, but the keyboard is not appearing in the Bluetooth list, so I can’t connect. I usually use it in dongle mode on my PC, but even after trying the dongle in both the front and back USB ports of my PC, the keyboard still doesn’t respond.

Please help I’m worried , it’s only a year old , bought brand new open box from a vendor.
