why does everyone claim to have mental problems, but when they meet or see someone with actual problems they hate on them and r unnecessarily rude/misunderstanding?
I am asking because i js seen this happen a loottt. For me even, I made a post on here about my body asking if im fat and everyone was attacking me. Saying im baiting n stuff, when I genuinely feel like this. I restrict diet a lot n overexercise, cry over how fat i am, etc. I’m 14f, so even when i am in public settings with others around my age i get very insecure that when i get home im very stressed over my appearance and body.
But it really upset me that people were being unnecessarily insensitive and rude. Someone even told me “girl ed’s haven’t been popular since the 2000s” and im like bruh. So what? Js bcuz they haven’t been “popular” doesn’t mean they suddenly went away. I have a friend with her own fair share of troubles mentally and many people are extremely mean to her. I get people with issues can act wack, or unnecessarily rude, etc. But i don’t think it’s always out of malice intent, and for my friend this is the case. She’s very sweet. I see many people always claim and romanticize mental problems but when someone shows actual signs and symptoms of these problems they become hateful and it’s very annoying
