Is there anywhere at all that they can get food if they don’t have money? I just can’t send anything right now and they’re so hungry. I see videos of soup kitchen type setups but where are they at? Does anyone know where they can get food without money?

I’m going through my second watch and I love Tara so much. I really wish her character got better. She was such a genuinely good person. Her and Lafayette are amazing.

Also I’m still bummed about René. He was so sweet and cute! I was genuinely surprised when it was him.

This show is just phenomenal.

Edit: also Andy had such a great character growth throughout the series. I did not like him at all at the beginning but he became pretty awesome and lovable by the end.

Annnnd I wish Terry had lived. I loved him and it was so sweet that brief bit that he was at peace.

Like that’s so out of character for her. Why would she want her baby named after the man she slept with while they were separated? And why would Andre be cool with that? She was emotional after having had a baby she needed to think that through. Just such a weird choice. They could’ve had any number of names be funny with the last name Bennett but naming him after Chang? That was so not Shirley.

My husband said he’s excited we finally have a nice grass lawn and I of course am ready to make it a pollinator lawn. Any examples yall willing to share to show him how nice no lawns can be in Florida??

And who is selling it?? I send money to my friends a few times a month. It was for school before but mostly food now and sometimes medicine.

I am just curious why it costs anything at all? There is no work for them. No way to make money.

Is it just because it is so scarce?

Wouldn’t it be better to give it to the people instead?

Is it because the population is still so massive that there just isn’t enough to go around??

It’s still just insane to me that this is happening at all. They’re trapped. The suffering is endless.

This is a mess so im going to just list the facts as I know them.

-Husband inherited a duplex via quit claim deed in 2019 (before marriage).

-His grandmother was who took out the mortgage and remained on the mortgage after her death in 2019. The mortgage company wouldn’t let him change it into his name due to credit.

-long story short we went into foreclosure.

-his uncle paid off the balance due to the mortgage company and bought the house. He owes us about $165k still.

My question is: since the loan/mortgage was in his deceased grandmother’s name and the quit claim deed is in my husband’s name, is the foreclosure still on our record for 7 years? We were both listed in the foreclosure paperwork so I believe it does count against us. My husband and his uncle are insistent that it does not and my husband and I can get a loan and put down $165 on a house his uncle owns.

We likely need a real estate attorney but can anyone answer? Thank you in advance.

Hello! My friend lives in a camp just outside of Idlib. He is disabled and struggling. Another friend had heard about some sort of aide ($2000) that families in the camps were getting to help them go back home or get housing again.

Does anyone know how to do this? If this is true? What kind of aide he can get or apply for?
