Rule 10 and my hopes for the future.

As you may know. This subreddit is a split off of r/Lensbasement from the roleplayers who enjoyed the laid-back multiverse RP part of the subreddit where anything could go in the backrooms style environment that was the basement.

This has happened due to the moderation team's dislike towards the drama caused by the RP community so it was moderated and many people found it unjust as a punishment to many for the actions of few.

I have decided that I will make my final attempt at being nice.

Lens Basement has been practically unmoderated besides deleting comments that are negative towards the subreddit, essentially silencing them.

It's been a total of 8 days since the last moderation action.

I have send mod mail to check to see if the moderation team is still even active. If they do not respond within 5 days then I am taking it to Reddit and dubbing r/Lensbasement as an unmoderated community, and taking over it.

This will take the course of 10 days. If they respond within 10 days, then all of this will be canceled and I will go back to silence.

10 Days.

They have 10 days to make their peace with us.

See you in the basement my friends.

How scandalous of you Urara.

I wonder who could she possibly be referring to in specific when she says she wants company while in an outfit like that...

(also little short queen X is doing a very good job with eye contact)

Forever

.Urara had recieved a shadow crystal from Hod, she thought this had to have been something bad. She had gotten it from no one in the world she found more suspicious than Hod how drastically she changed.*

"Fukukitaru would totally freak out over this thing..."

Urara thought aloud to herself, pausing. She swore she could hardly remember that name yesterday. Urara discarded the thought as she stowed away the crystal, undressing as she went to sleep.

dreamscape

Urara stood alone in a clearing of Sakura trees. She felt the urge to lie down. Hundreds of people pass by her as the trees go through their cycles of blooming pedals and falling to create the beautiful pink snow the tree was known for.

As time flew by her, she swore she could recognize some of the people that passed by. She even looked at patterns. One of them caught her eye, someone who sat by the tree every single time until it finally rotted away. Then, they still went about their day as if there was no change at all.

(Nothing. I'm just a... small blink in the lives of everyone.)

(It won't matter how much I change their lives. Time will eventually make them forget me.)

(Thats... But I try so hard to make people happy.)

(...but who would care.)

(This ring it meant I loved someone enough to tie my life for theirs but to them. This will just be another useless piece of damn metal.)

Urara woke up staring at her ceiling in silence. Never before has she felt so aware of every minor crack and ache in her body. She wouldn't be around forever. She thought she made peace with it. But the idea, that the people she held so closely and meant the world to her. She'd just a blink in the lifetime of those people. Eventually she'd just be another meaningless animal to them. She sat up in bed, letting herself silently cry.

Haru Urara in: Pondering Eternity.

There was something nagging at Haru Urara, it weighed her down and she felt it's grasp at every turn. She was umamusume. She may age gracefully, but that wouldn't mean she would be around forever. She found beauty in the fleeting nature of life, but something changed her. someone changed her.

She realized how foolish she was. To fall in love with someone who'd outlast your lifetime an infinite amount of times over. However she still loved them. There were ways she could be just as eternal as them but, she hadn't a clue what the scale of it truly meant. Was it worth it to be alive, throughout every single generation, cycle of life and death. Was it worth it to be there to see the first seeds of a new plant grow, and live long enough to see the final patch of it die out. Only so few would be able to live as cosmos itself.

It was equally saddening as a thought that she'd would one day have to leave her love behind. That thought made her want to disregard any consequences of immortality. Maybe it wasn't so bad.

She'd had gone around asking people about her concern.

"Would you happen to know how to uh... live forever? Like, immortality?"

I like Jason Universe.

Alot of people don't like him. I was one of them who didn't like him. I didn't like the design in comparison to some of the movies. (I just mainly liked how he was by Greg Nicotero)

AAAHHH THAT STUPID FUCKING FACE IS GROWING ON ME!

He looks so... Jason now, I don't know how else to put it. Like this is like, the Jason that you picture up when you think of Jason.

Most stock standard Jason design ever. And for that I love him.

Also what DBD did with him, it's one of the first looks we get at what JU would do with some alternative Jason designs and they all look AWESOME. (my favorite is Zombie Jason with the shovel ^q^)

Also love the new look for Hillbilly Jason. Sad to see we don't have a baghead no more but hey it still looks great.

Haru Urara in: Public Service Duties

Looks like an old employee of the Meat Packing Room is back! and serving out some her supply!

She's just looking for something to fill the void that... other things used to. But finally! She's gone outside and socialized with people instead of just with her spouse!

"Hiiiyooo! would you like some red meat or ramen. I apologize it's all we have currently! We're currently looking into expanding our menu"

u/Hefty_Bum — 5 days ago

So close to being there yet so far at the same time💔

Keep on trying Sadako, you're certainly inching closer at the very least.

Been awhile since I made a Tomodachi post. So here's an update.

Haru Urara and MrRagemode2011 get into a fight due to jealously!

Hod is forced to reject herself and 2 others in possibly the saddest looking thing ever

Kasumi Miwa makes her way onto the island alongside several horror characters I got bored and decided to make, so I've added Chucky, Tiffany Valentine, Sadako, Jason Voorhees and uh... Slasher from Forsaken (Teem Gojo fell in love with Miwa)

Gold Ship joins the island as well, making quick friends with literally every villain. as a new area, as I decided to tear down Shibuya and replace it with a Dead By Daylight map for funnsies.

Sadako crushes on Jason in an honestly very sad one-sided relationship.

Denji and Makima are dating.

Me and my Friend's OC are here now. Yeah I just be adding everyone like I've gotten Mii Suggestions from atleast 30 different people for this island.

At the end of the day, Haru Urara and MrRagemode2011 reconcile and their marriage continues and blossoms into something beautiful.

I still forget to add some basement dwellers as my hyper-fixations takes over my island's residents.

That's all folks, uh... maybe another update next week if enough cool stuff happens.

Inner-Reflection

Urara stood alone on a quiet street, the moon was finishing it's descend and the morning light was less than a few hours away.

"W-where-"

"Your alone here, and that's all you need to know."

The quiet street echoed with her own voice responding to her.

"If your me, then this place must also be myself..."

"You're one to catch on quick."

"Why, am I here, why couldn't whatever thought this is, just come to me like any other?"

Haru Urara said as she pleaded for a real answer, something that can just, satisfy her burning desire to know whats going on.

"Because you are blind, Urara! I can see your faults!"

Urara's own voice shouted back to her in the same benevolent yet furious tone a parent would have while scolding their child.

"Your thrill-seeking has only gotten in the way of you and the people around you."

Urara froze, her arms unable to move from their side. She knew what this all meant.

"I... I never wanted to hurt anyone. I promised that I'd be there for everyone-"

"Your promise is meaningless, your word means nothing and it always will mean nothing. Not even someone so close to you as the person you so undoubtly called your true love can trust you."

Haru Urara was stunned silent, before looking down at the gravel road beneath her as she started sobbing.

"Change. Haru Urara. You never gave up before. I don't expect you to now."

Urara looked back up with tears in her eyes, as she saw, herself, she was once someone younger, someone happier. When she didn't have to be someone else to make people smile.

Haru Urara's tears stopped as she wiped them away.

"I... I understand."

How "RP" would you like this sub to be?

If you ever been in a bigger or larger RP sub. You might be familiar with some common things you might see. (primarily referring to claims and the likes)

So I thought I'd ask.

How would YOU like the RP aspect to be handled? Do we do it in an anything goes sort of way or do we streamline it a little?

Screenshot!

((uhhh. u/MrRageMode2011 I guess but no real pressure to respond. Made this just to try and post more here))

Haru Urara still sat at the cafe long after Hod left to continue working on the Culling Games, Urara however was already done with thinking about the games for the day, she thinking about someone else.

Urara slumped as she looked out the window into the surreal landscape. Then she took out her phone and sent a text. The back and forth messages became more and more one-sided the more recent the messages were from.

Urara turned off her phone and thought to herself. Maybe it was time to just go home. Maybe she'll have better luck finding them there.

Confrontation.

Hod and Haru Urara were at a cafe, discussing the current affairs of their roles as deities. The cafe was cleared out for their visit due to the privacy of the matters.

"-And I thought it be a good idea to allow you to participate." Hod said, dropping something so major in such a way of being non-issue.

"I'd be fine to participate in whatever event is planned for the basement. It sounds like it could be fun." Urara agreed to participate in this event, wanting to make sure people not only knew that... she was still alive but also to see them all again.

something felt off about Hod, the look in her eyes was off, cold, the humanity from Hod in that second vanished. The reflection of a flower.

Urara took notice as she blinked and it was gone, must of been a reflection of the light yet something is off. She couldn't feel the same comfort she did when she sat down.

"Just to be certain. You are SURE the games won't have any... lasting consequence? At all?"

Urara wanted Hod to give her absolute certainty that her people would be safe. She liked the idea at first, even vowing her own participation yet something was nagging at her. Something putting her on edge over the coming event

"Worry not Haru, Their souls are tethered to the tree of life... So if they were to die in the event, I can revive them just fine" Hod said to reassure Haru Urara that things would be fine. "but first... I need to make contracts with everyone... After all... Consent is key."

Hod seeing Urara's doubt still, went onto explain more about the games to her.

"The conditions are that all participates would have to give up their powers and authority first and make Hod the absolute authority of the basement for it's duration"

Urara's face was weary, not at all comforted hearing Hod's explanation.

"Worry not, it's not like I would pull anything suspicious in that time duration... This is a binding vow... A contract forged using Jujutsu, breaking a vow would kill the one who broke it. I don't think I want to end up dead in some alleyway, hahah... heh..." Hod's attempt to lighten the mood seemed to not work on Urara one bit.

Haru Urara leant forward and sighed, she began to think about the life she built down here and how it could irreversibly change.

"Hod... I'm a very domestic person. My role here is that I've always dealt with general quality of life down here. It's been fairly stable and that's why I've been skipping out recently. However, you're really sure people dying and being resurrected won't have any effect on them? I know you have collected consent from people but are you sure they know the full scope of what you're doing here?"

Hod seemed glad that Urara was pressing her in this manner.

"I'm quite glad you brought that up. I have a system put in place that can effectively, shut off all pain. So... let's discuss this whole "Tree Of Life" project."

Hod took a deep breath as she prepared her speech, unrehearsed but her memory would be enough to serve her well.

"During my first life in the city... I once was a researcher of a small laboratory in the outskirts of city... We had a leader called Carmen that had very big dreams, that dream was to cure the "disease of the mind" and uplift the spirits of the city folk. I've gave up working for a big corporation for her... Because her dream was also mine."

Hod looked away from Urara, slightly dreary.

"I don't want to talk much about what happened to her... It's dark stuff... People died... And it was all my fault."

Hod decided it was enough sharing the context of why she was doing what she was doing.

"So about this tree of life project... It's goal is to create a pillar of light that than can pierce the darkness and allow light to enter the hearts of the people once again. The culling games are a way of funding and finding suitable candidates for the experiment."

Haru Urara looked down, in thought about the people in The Basement, her boss, her partner, all of the people she considered friends.

"The idea sounds grand and in alignment with what I want. But is it really worth it if we're showing that we're not above putting people in a death game?"

Hod opened her mouth to speak before the attempt being stuffed by Urara's concerns.

"I know, consent forums. But the fact this idea got put into motion so rapidly concerns me. What you're doing and it's impact both positive and negative won't be limited to the people either."

Hod closed her eyes, thinking of a response before looking at Haru Urara

"The end's justify the means or something... This is the most moral way I could have done this... There were options..."

Haru Urara's grip on her drink became tighter as her anger showed on her face, she sat in thought for just a second, leaving a silence which could kill most. The silence only brought by the anger of a housewife.

"...Or something? Your not even going to give me an answer with your full chest? I'd LOVE to see these other options that were worse than this... glorified execution of our people"

"Haru..." Hod tried to interject

"No. Don't call me that. I'm not nearly as 'divine' as you, but I'm a person. I'm no god, I'm just Haru Urara and goddamnit I'm stone cold sober. I'm a housewife and your... I don't know what you are but you don't understand what's like to live like a normal person down here!-"

Haru Urara put her anger in the politest way she could as Hod tried to reconcile her.

"People aren't being executed... I did say that I've hooked up their souls to the tree of life... Which would reconstruct their physical bodies and gives back their powers and authority the moment they die... They can watch the games from the outside."

Haru Urara still didn't want to just fold over to this idea.

"The idea that people would have to experience death or taking the life of another still. It disturbs me. Neither of us have any idea what that could do to someone and your hoping it will all just still be in line afterward?"

"I know how bad it sounds... But I must complete what I've started... You'll have to trust me on this one" Hod had no words other than the most basic of lackluster reassurance.

Haru Urara took a deep breath and finally caved.

"...I'll put my faith in you... You at least planned ahead somewhat. Just know I'm not pleased."

THIS EXPERIMENT WOULD BE REALLY INTERESTING... DONT YOU THINK, HOD? Yeah...

Urara's small outburst.

((Character event, yaaaay!))

Haru Urara went on a walk, just go deeper in the freezer. It seems to get more and more expansive everyday but that didn't really matter. Normally she'd just seal it off and ignore it but after so much entity hunting. She was confident she'd be fine no matter what.

She moved her bookshelf from infront of the door to the rest of the freezer room and opened it. The door slammed shut behind her with a deep metal clank. She began her peaceful stroll as she began to hum old songs from her childhood and the idol songs she was taught in Tracen Academy.

Distance from Freezer Zero Point: 1 mile out

Urara had been walking for awhile as she approached her estimated mile mark. The event has been fairly peaceful as she took in the liminal scenery.

"...I don't have to share every moment with someone, this is for me."

Urara took out a pack of candy she'd always carry on her, said package dubiously unmarked. She sat down in total silence as she ate.

15 minutes later.

"ohgod, ooh man oh man."

Urara's fear response was spiking as she began to panic out of nowhere, seemingly with no cause.

"Urara..."

"Urara, young lady."

"Urara! Young lady! Get up! You have a test today"

"Hmm, what no I don't?"

Haru Urara awoke in a bed that felt all too familiar, a room she'd spend so many of her younger days in. She looks up and sees, King Halo.

"What do mean 'no I don't' you absolutely do! I've been trying to tell you all week! I'm trying to help you get on track Urara"

Urara looked down at herself, how much smaller she was before responding

"Sorry King-chan!"

Haru Urara was quickly readied from out of bed by King Halo and she sped off to her class. Where ever it was, she didn't know, but at the same time she knew the school like the back of her hand.

Time: 12:30 PM

Urara went for the buffet lunch and saw, her. The one she had lost so much ago

"Rice?"

Urara sat next to Rice Shower as the air was different, this wasn't their normal cuddly interaction. Haru Urara still remembered everything from her adult life but... this day, was it that one so important to her. The one that shaped her life for so long before being trapped?

"Urara-san, I-I was actually looking for you b-but I'd rather I, talk to you somewhere more quiet!"

Haru Urara smiled at Rice Shower

"Oh-Kay! Let me just grab something to eat first!"

Urara went to grab a take-out box and quickly rushed to take some of the salad and carrot muffin side before sprinting back to Rice Shower

"See! Quick!*

Urara said, boasting about her improvement in her speed. Rice Shower stood up and beckoned Haru Urara to follow to outside. Urara finished her meal as they walked outside with the sun just past it's peak and beginning it's descent.

"Urara-San, I've actually had something to tell you, something really important."

Rice shower said with her voice having a determined, hopeful conviction in it as Haru Urara made a curious squeak.

"When we hang out, my heart flutters so fast and when I look at you I feel so mesmerized, completely caught in your eyes. Urara-san. I love y-"

Haru Urara blinked and suddenly the cold wind blew on her. She felt so much larger, closer to how she is now and staring at a gravestone. She blinked again and she was placed back right where she was infront of Rice Shower.

Haru Urara's expression became shocked and confused as Rice Shower looked on at her

"I-I'm so sorry if that was sudden, oh no. I just shouldn't have told you, you probably think I'm just weird now don't you."

Urara walked up to Rice Shower and hugged her

"No no, I l-love you too." Urara's voice shaked as she realized this dream wasn't going to be a good one anymore.

Rice Shower pulled away upon hearing Haru Urara stutter.

"What's wrong, Urara-san?" Rice Shower's demeanor shifted as the afternoon light dipped into sun sight much too quickly

"Were you lying to me?" Rice Shower froze up as she answered her own question by reading Haru Urara's face.

Haru Urara was frightened for some reason unknown to her. Like premonition of what's to come. She turned around and bolted from Rice Shower, running inside the academy and shutting the door behind her. Rice Shower slowly gave chase at a walking pace as the evening quickly became night.

Haru Urara looked around for a place to hide as she ducked into the library and found King Halo

"King-chan!" Urara called to her as she slowly pushed a bookshelf infront of the library door.

King Halo turned around confused, seemingly no idea of what's happening as she walked over.

"This isn't real, I'll just wake up." Haru Urara chanted to herself, to wake up, she wanted to wake up, she didn't want to see this, she wanted to wake up. She had to wake up.

"You really think that? You think you'll wake?" King Halo said looking down at Haru Urara. King Halo's features became blacked out as with one hand, she grabbed her by the neck and tossed Haru Urara to the back wall of the library.

Haru Urara picked herself back up from the hit but she couldn't bring herself to stand, only cry on all fours as she sobbed. She began to cough, and choke before finally ejecting out a small pile of blood. Then more, and more and more before...

"ack-Hacouh!"

Haru Urara awoke in the deep freezer's hallways again, sitting in a puddle of her own drool. Then she cried. She cried imagining her perfect little life she could have had, the one she got a glimpse of. The great, and the grief.

There she was. Haru Urara, alone. God knows how far away from her home and sobbing. Her head spun, she shouldn't have taken anything while out here, she racked her brain for an explanation and rationalized that she must of just passed out and started dreaming. Everything still felt so real to her though. Like her mind and soul was transferred out of her body to her younger self for that short time.

"I still miss you..."
