Crazy idea for the AI

Michael as the AI would bring that humor, but also evil vibes.

I am still in the early stages of planning the game with a lot of homebrew elements to make it feel like the books. I am debating running this in person if people are interested or online if not. Keep in mind this won't start soon as im more seeing interest, but if people are excited for it, I can build a group of up to 6 and let you know.
Some things to keep in mind or disclaimers. Im high functioning autistic, mostly not too obvious, but I am super sensitive to bad smells. So obviously deodorant at my table is a must lol. However the less common one is I have PTSD triggered by being around for too long the smell of weed. I dont have a moral issue people smoking, just not before a game please. Also LGBT friendly, keep that MAGA, racist BS out of my table. No warnings there, you say something racist, sexist, or creep on someone at the table, I'll kick you out.
Aside from that, while this by nature will have a good amount of combat and freedom, it is role-playing heavy. One reason this is good to keep in mind is I plan to run floors with multiple paths, encounters, quests, and so on so you as the players shape the game and future floors through actions.
Also, would be a free table, but if people ever donated or tipped I'd use it for snacks or things to improve the game.
So, anyone want to roll for initiative?
For ages I have wanted gemstone dice. The first experience was Wyrmwood through Critical Role streams. I finally have the extra money to get some and now that Im really looking into it I see according to reddit Wyrmwood has fallen off? This would explain why their website has a lot less choices.
I always wanted Amethyst dice, but it seems they might be too prone to breaking and chipping? So ya, DnD gods and demigods, please save me from wasting money. If it helps I usually main a Bard or Wizard.
As a long time employee, I can say with certainty T-Mobile execs are really trying to screw over as many employees and customers. With going digital first, multiple mass lay offs, laying off most former USCC employees, App only interactions, and AI everywhere they cant honestly be thos blind to how much employees and customers hate this and are leaving.
This isnt a post to shit on the changes, its more to understand, what is T-Mobiles real goal here?
My theory, they are trying to downsize and make tmobile worth less so then Telecom can buy T-Mobile and merge so many networks in the world and become one of if not the biggest carrier that spans the world and not just one country.
I saw this little indie film im sure isnt well known, but found the perfect Donut actor.
Not sure if anyone has said this, but this is who I imagine as Carl. A younger Brendan would kill this role. He has proven he can play himbo, clever, and rage roles. Honestly if this was the 90s he would be perfect.
She has the sas, she has the comedic and acting chops, and outside of Jeff Hays version, doesnt a Transatlantic accent not fit Donut's whole aura perfectly?
I typically like to get my nails painted simply because it makes my hands less boring and primarily stops me from biting my nails without having to put biterex on them.
I have been to two shops so far: Pink & White where all the workers looked at me like I was crazy assuming because I am a guy and the one who did it messed up and was pretty cold.
Then I also went to True Beauty near Best Buy since it says men welcome on the door. Couldn't understand much of what anyone was saying so couldn't really figure out services, prices or communicate. Price was good, but the nails look pretty chopped.
Just want a fun way to stop biting my nails, but also add flair to my hands without being looked at like this is such a mind blowing thing in 2026, ya know?
So I know I am late to the party, not sure how I went this long not knowing the official game will only be two floors total. Man with how excited ive been with the idea of playing the game and conquering floors and seeing characters grow it now feels like the game we are getting is going to not be as exciting. From a dev standpoint I get it, they got to what floor 80 something? That would be hard to make it and so putting a lot of attention on the first two floors makes sense. However thats still only the beginning of a big game so how much character growth and story can they really tell?

Idk, I know this has all been said months ago, but just wondering how after Beta others are feeling.
Obviously since Kirito is in the game we won't get duel swords for lore reasons...but what if there is other secret weapons or skills? I swear I am throwing the game out if its reverse blade, Sellsword arts has trained me well. IYKYK
At first I was thinking this combat was pretty fun, but now that im done with "Beta" and reflecting I feel more disappointed. In the anime the bosses are really challenging, bouncing around, moving like they are planning attacks. This compliments the combat the characters can do, real sword clashes, exciting parries and able to blend moves together to make your own combat. Its not like this combat style is unheard of or even rare.

Instead we get combat th a t feels more like a PS3 game and bosses that stay in one spot and spam a small rotation of moves. Even with the death game in play, it doesnt feel exciting or dangerous. Just feels like this game needs a lot more time in the oven given how lonely the game feels and the MC being an awkward silent type.

This type of game has been my dream since season 1 of SAO and this feels less like a dream come true and more like a slap together game.
It seems the general consensus is the MC talking would be better story wise since right now it plays awkward. I am thinking we might have another Iori situation. Maybe the MC isnt talking on purpose to hide their identity and after they are revealed gender wise they will talk. I cant seem to find any official sources one way or the other so curious if others have thoughts or know anything. Honestly hate Silent protagonists, but in a game like this I think its really important the protagonist talks.
Just like the title, should probably just make a mega thread for people to post their reviews. My feed is filled with people reviewing their experience every few minutes.
So i have a Samsung pro device and we just found out our store is closing because tmobile apparently hates employees now with all these lay offs. I'll officially be an employee until mid September and then I know I need to return my device. This sucks because I had just recently sold my S22 Ultra thinking why do I need two phones? (So dumb of me) so now I will be out a phone so logically go to another carrier and get an on us deal. However, I am wondering would it be worth calling Samsung or talking to VOST and seeing if Samsung would let me keep the device or help me get one since im being laid off? Im pretty sure its a no, but figured I'd ask.

Side note, how do we return our device? In the year I have been in this store I have seen our Samsung rep only once...which seems crazy.
I assumed this has been asked already, but I cant find it and I am dying to know what others think. So I am familiar with Nick Frost's work and so acting wise I think he could nail Hagrid, but in a different way than the movie version. Where my issue lies is looking at him next to Harry he looks like a normal sized adult. So am I wrong in thinking they are making the half giant Hagrid normal sized based on the trailer?
For ages I have never understood how thin crust pizza with provel cheese can be $12+? Furthermore, how are they staying in business with these prices so high for so little amount of food. The pizza isnt bad, but more like Domino's or Pizza hut quality at Roccos or pappos prices. So ya, just curious what others think.
Im about to apply and go back to school since my job pays for it. A BS will take too long and since IT isnt my dream job and more juat a way to pay bills I felt a certificate program. I am debating between these two, but cant decide so if others have taken the program or know which they would suggest over the other that would be great. I have many years of work experience, but related to he field I have 3 years over the phone tech support for tmobile.
I currently have a background in tech support and a lot of it. However, I work for T-Mobile and just got told they are laying off most of the UScellular people. Seems staying with the company or going to a competitor is useless given how many lay offs happen and their not so subtle plans to replace as many workers with AI and Apps.
So that leads me to trying to find something higher paying, but also more stable in this economy. Given my experience with tech support and understanding of security systems I landed on Cybersecurity. A BS seems illogical given it would still take me 4 years and im 36 now. I have landed on Purdue Global or DigitalCrafts. Tmobile will pay for both fully even with the layoff which is crazy. Purdue would be a year and digitalcrafts would be 7.5 months. Seems DC would be the shorter of the two, but Purdue might look better.
Sorry for the long lead up, but seemed like information that would help drive an answer. Between the two which should I pick? Also if anyone has experience with either im all ears.
