Guys, this policy warning won't go away, even after fixing the issue and unpublishing the entire app. What should I do next?

A red warning notification still appears in our Google Play Console, even after fixing the issue.

Hi, I hope you're all doing well.

We received a warning notification on June 5 regarding one of our apps. We fixed the issue on the same day. The violation was related to the Metadata policy, and we took the following actions:

• We changed the entire store listing, including the title, description, screenshots, and icon.
• Since we do not plan to continue supporting this app, we have completely unpublished it from the store.

However, we are still seeing the red warning message.

The red notification "Policy violations to prevent your app from being suspended" won't go away even after fixing the issue.

Hi, I hope you're all doing well.

One of my apps received a red warning notification: "Policy violations to prevent your app from being suspended." I received it on June 5, and it says I need to fix the issue by June 12.

Since the issue was related to the Metadata policy, I did the following:

  • Completely changed the metadata.
  • Updated the app's code and assets.
  • Since I no longer want to support the app, I unpublished it.

After doing all of this, the red notification still appears. Should I contact Google Play Support?

Is it only me, or are you all facing the “An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again. (78B6E6D3)” issue on Google Play Console?

Hi everyone,

When I open Google Play Console, I see the snackbar message: “An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again. (78B6E6D3)” at the bottom of the screen.

No data is loading. Is something wrong with Google Play Console, or is it just me?

I tested the S26 Ultra Horizon Lock idea on an old Android phone and it actually works

Samsung’s Horizon Lock feature got me curious, so I tried recreating a similar effect for non-flagship Android phones.

It works by using gyro data to continuously correct rotation while recording, so the video stays level even when the phone is tilted or rotated.

I didn’t expect it to work this well on older hardware, but it’s actually usable in real conditions.

Would be interested to know how accurate it feels compared to the Samsung implementation.

If you want to test it, the app (Horizon Lock) is free
