I have a Sharjah driving licence, and my current licence expires on 8 September 2026.

If I do the required eye test today, can I use the same eye test result to renew my licence on 8 September?

Also, if I renew my licence today through the MOI UAE app, will I lose the remaining 20 days on my current licence, or will the new 5-year validity start from 9 September 2026?

I’m trying to decide whether I should do the eye test now and wait until my current licence expires before submitting the renewal or if I should do the eye test and renewal today itself.

I recently got poco x8 pro max. How do I get gesture navigation on 3rd party launcher application.

I really want to use custom icon pack from play store. I checked themes but I'm not satisfied with the icons in there.

Only option left for me is to use a 3rd party launcher with custom icon pack.

I have Shizuku installed and working. I used canta to debloat the phone to get rid of all the adware and useless applications.

I stay in Sharjah and I wanted to change flats due to many reasons:

1. AC needs servicing every month even in Winters. It just stops working. Sometimes cables burn. Sometimes it's the gas. Sometimes RATS chew the cable. Every month some new reason.

2. Lifts dont work almost 10 days every month. Buttons stop working suddenly. They get fixed and break again.

3. Children keep playing and shouting around in the corridor for hours. Multiple complaints yet no action from building management.

4. Cockroach issue.

5. Zero maintenance except AC servicing.

I stay with my mother and I am the one paying for the rent.

I was in the office when my mother went to building office and renewed the contract without checking with me. I had already planned to shift into a new building, but mom made the contract on her name and paid the rent for 2 months. Worst part was she had my signed cheques to be used in case of emergency and she gave those to the building office. (2 months paid in cash - 5 other payments in cheques)

I don't want to stay in this building, as everyday is a new challenge. Plus, climbing 12 floors when the lift isnt working is pain after completely draining in office and Dubai Sharjah traffic.

I want to understand how much penalty I have to pay for early cancellation of contract and what is the process. I haven't been to the building office yet. Also, I read the tenancy contract but it doesn't mention anything.

I recently made an international payment through the Jio app to recharge my Jio number with the yearly Rs. 3,599 plan. The amount was charged to my credit card right away, but the recharge never showed up in the Jio app.

After waiting a few days, I reached out to Jio customer support through live chat. I shared the transaction details, reference numbers, and authorization codes. I also explained several times that my bank had already confirmed the payment went through.

Even after giving all the details, the only reply I kept getting was, "Check with your bank." That same response was repeated over and over, like the chat was stuck on a loop.

The support rep also seemed unfamiliar with basic payment terms like transaction IDs and authorization codes, which made the whole thing even more frustrating.

It’s pretty surprising that a company handling millions of transactions can still make a customer explain the same issue six times without getting any real help.

After this experience, I’m seriously thinking about porting my number to another provider. A payment issue can happen, but the complete lack of ownership and support from Jio is way more frustrating than the failed recharge itself.

Hello, I have recharged my Jio number with the 3599 ruppee yearly plan about 24 hours back. Amount has been deducted from my credit card, yet it is not being reflected on my jio account.

I am trying to reach the jio agent but unfortunately no luck.
