I love how the media are now calling it a "toxic tower" and basically an awful idea when it's not going to happen, but when it was first proposed it was reported (by a lot of media outlets) as a wonderful tower that will create jobs and such prosperity for the gold coast (even though 95% of the comments section under each article was very negative on the idea). We desperately need some journalists and media outlets that have even an ounce of integrity, that aren't just bought and paid for by billionaires with a self serving agenda's or aligning themselves with a political party as a propaganda machine. This is how the US started sliding into what it is now.

Now this is a bit of a rant and i also know these people are just trying to make a buck but i had the unfortunate experience of copping these solar people twice in one day. I was at an elderly relatives house and one came to her door (she's a 5ft tall 70 y/o) and the bloke definitely crossed the line of what is acceptable. She made the mistake of walking out her front door to talk to this person and she basically got cornered by this tall young bloke who would not take no for an answer, I was listening from another room and I must of heard her say no to him at least 15 times and that she wasn't interested and for him to leave and he just bloody well wouldn't listen. After being asked to leave (many times) he then demanded her phone number so he could prove to his boss that he had been to this house and also that he'd booked her in for a follow up consultation (at which point I came to the front door and in no uncertain terms told him to leave immediately) and at the door i saw him in her personal space towering over her .This was plain and simple intimidation and pressure selling to a elderly person (an easy target) not to mention creepy. When I got back to my own house a different bloke from same company knocked on my door and I just said no thanks and shut the door so the guy just raises his voice and starts half yelling his sales pitch through the closed glass door at me? WTF is wrong with these people? They have clearly been told to be aggressive in their tactics.
