Only just found out about the MA ban, I have some questions, and is there really a chance filling these forms will help?

Though I used to take larger doses of 5-7g, I now take 3g. I have like 200g or something on me. I plan to get to 1.5 and probably jump ship, but it's been 9 years. Will this matter, like, will that length of time make it so I'm going through hell even if I come off fully?

I wasn't really planning to, and I see all these people posting about it, posting forms about their kratom stories but I don't see how this'll help. Like, the ban is already set for 8/28/26, how is there a realistic chance that any of us will be able to stop it?

Like shit, it's like, there goes my best thing for pain management, because I honestly feel like it's hopeless and there's nothing we can do. Figured this'd be one of the last states to ban it, this bitch... I'm sure some smoke shops might sell it, but I get the feeling that any that do will jack up the price like crazy and I'm totally broke.

Forced to quit, some seriously important questions

Title. I've been using kratom daily for around 9 years. However, I don't really like it all that much anymore and rarely even feel it. I honestly took it for pain pretty often but that's not the point. There was a time where I used to take high doses like 7g, I'm now taking 3g with like 200g left. I'm in an area that's going to ban it soon.

My plan was essentially just reduce 0.1g a day, that's kinda how I got from 6.5g at the start of the year to where I am now, very gradual. I'm lucky I even have about 200g though it's probably really like 175g, and I'm on vacation (in a legal state but I'm broke and won't be back until the 25th). It sucks, especially since I decided to take 3.5g today not even knowing about this ban and am feeling it quite strongly. Had a massive migraine and just said screw it, bump it up 0.5g.

I don't know if that's a good sign or not. I guess the real question is, even though it's been this long, will I have horrible withdrawals for weeks or months, or is my taper plan pretty realistic and once I'm down to like, 1.5g or something I can just quit and have only mild withdrawal? I'm like totally panicking because I never knew about this, fuck...

I'd like to believe my plan should work but I haven't gone into legit withdrawals since February 2018. November 2017 was my first dance and it was TERRIBLE and I was taking 6-8g daily around that point. By the 48 hour mark around, the withdrawals had gone away and by day 3, I felt so good. Woke up nauseous as hell, but then I had a banana and felt amazing.

Famotidine/Pepcid, Cimetidine/Tagamet etc. are all fine to take, for those wondering. ONLY magnesium/aluminum antacids are to be avoided

These have no direct interaction with Gabapentin, I only realized this recently. My doctor was always telling me they did and it was all antacids, nah. These are just H2 blockers, it's more avoid aluminum and magnesium antacids.

Not even TUMS seem to, at least in my experience (though it can apparently slightly lower absorption). If so, just toss it in a seltzer water or something lol, maybe that'd work. That's Diazepam where I believe TUMS just completely blocks most of the absorption.

I saw a post from years ago on here, but that didn't blow up much or anything. I feel that it's important to make some kind of sticky, some note in general since people may also have just been told by their doctor, psychiatrist (since this can be used off label for PTSD and such as is the case with me).

What's going on with analytics/dashboard, are they bugged for others too?

Just the dashboard in general is a mess.

Earning page has been frozen for a week (and crazy delayed in updating in genera), it'll show me as being live when I'm not, randomly said the stream quality was poor when it wasn't (hit stop streaming and started again, was back to excellent as usual).

I don't keep up a lot with changes on Twitch as much as YT (even that's hard to keep track of), but does this possibly have something to do with AI? AI has been dominating YouTube nowadays and also causing similar bugs, so it's beyond me.

If views and watch-time (hours) all went up substantially, why is my income for the month way lower, is it because I disabled certain ad types?

Title. I didn't notice this until last night and I was like wait, what the hell? That was the most views I've had all year and I only pulled in $101 (with a day processing or whatever), when prior months with significantly less views and watch-time are usually $200-300. This honestly just seemed a bit weird to me.

It could be that they happened to mostly be using adblockers lol, but I'd otherwise banned some topics recently, around last month. Things about gambling, sex etc. as I'd kept seeing other channels get removed because of things like AI generated sex ads or something. You think otherwise this is why? I guess I was afraid of the same thing happening, but it's the only thing that really makes sense.

Analytics bug continuing to worsen (again) lol

Was only fully fixed like, 2 weeks ago, but yeah, every day, the following day is reduced until it hits 0 which has affected (and shown) me to lose views on videos in YT Studio. It's not a huge deal, it's just annoying how often this place falls apart.

No one else had made a post about this, so I don't know if this time around it's even happening to everyone or just some of us.

Started July 23rd, now up to 25th with the 26th beginning to drop into 0 as well

YT Studio analytics are breaking again, has this caught up to anyone else? If not, expect it to

This happened in April, 2 months later in June, was only completely fixed about 2 weeks ago for me, not even. July 23rd, I was like huh, 0 views on that video that day? That's strange, because I know it got around 3,000. Now, the 24th also says this, and YT Studio has dropped that video by 1,000 views.

Not actually, just visually, so the views for the month are messed up and no longer updating with refresh pulls (only works with the mobile app). Most things only work properly with the mobile app as far as analytics go. I'd add a screenshot if images were allowed, but it is what I describe. Had tried posting in partneredyt, but it kinda just got downvoted and ignored (what had happened the last time someone else tried reporting this), at least until it was truly happening to everyone.

Thanks!

Since no one's made a post, yup, it's happening again lol

Every one of my videos report 0 on that specific day. Last time, this was just 1 day, then it ended up spreading out to be like 6 days or so for a lot of people. Like, they JUST fixed the underreported data from June 30th - July 7th, now it's happening again? Update: now July 24th too.

I know I can't be the only one. It was a decent day of views at 4,310 (small/old channel), so it's reporting for that day just fine (for now). Last time this happened, it took a couple days for the "past week" chart to show 0 views for that whole day. Ugh, why can't YouTube stop breaking itself lol.

This DOES affect the past week view for every video though, so it's again now underreporting views if you wanna know for a specific video, which I like to do. This has caused it to underreport really for the whole month, I'm noticing reduced numbers for certain videos compared to before.

So... I hope they fix this and it's not round 2 of more broken analytics.

Feature to see all the views per hour (say, 12pm-1pm), why doesn't this exist?

Later in the day, that is. Can't always be around to check the last 60 minutes.

It would be so damn convenient, because web never, for me at least reports all of what people click on. If it's some obscure, very old video, especially, but even then, web always limits it to basically high traffic videos on my channel.

There's always playlist analytics if I'm curious, but I shouldn't have to view playlist after playlist to know what some of these views are, since I'm always curious. Simply being able to click the bar for that hour should tell me all the videos that were viewed in that hour.

Maybe there's some hidden way to do this already, I wouldn't know, but it doesn't exist as far as I'm aware. Would figure I couldn't be the only person who'd want a feature like this to exist, and perhaps at one point it did. YT just constantly silently removes good features and has been infamous for this going back to like, 2009.

These were taken with a terrible camera from the early 2000s. Just randomly found this sub, photography has always been a light hobby of mine. How are these?

I have other pics from a broken phone lens (shitty Tracfone) and from a previous Tracfone that actually was at least decent. I just wanted to focus on this crappy camera, since I thought it actually still had some nice pics taken.

My HS photography teacher had told me once that I "had the eye," I want to know if that's really true, I guess. It's a bit strange when you grow up being told by most people in your family that you have no talent, no skill, no capacities, which I know isn't true now at 33, but I s'pose I can still find myself tripped up at times. I know I'd be far from alone in having a weird and kinda shitty childhood, but I liked my mid-teens.

Don't by any means hold back on saying anything is shitty because I said that lol, I really want honest opinions. I can take constructive criticism. I think this sub could be good for me, and enable me to take this hobby more seriously, as I've been lacking with it for awhile. I don't even know how I stumbled into this sub in the first place, but here we are.

There're some random fireworks at the end, those are seriously hard to get good pictures of. Either way, just a random sample to see if I'm alright at this, I know it's not much. I have a lot more photos on this nearly broken-down Windows 10 laptop, I've just been too busy to really do much online lately. I do know these are quite blurry from the dated camera, I just did the best I could with it.

"False views" the other night, did this happen to anyone else?

I'd made a post about how I thought I got viewbotted or something (which kinda just got downvoted and no response).

I'm honestly really not sure what happened. A specific video of mine was getting hundreds of views an hour, mind you, it's this really old video from 19 years ago, so I thought it was pretty weird even if it tends to get a decent amount of views. But they were only reported from browse features, nothing else. That's where I thought something's up

I see today "Views: Data is underreported for some dates (June 30 – July 7, 2026). We're working to fix this" which doesn't seem related. Views update quite often in YT studio now compared to the actual video, so I can tell none of those views were legit and when I'd woke up yesterday morning, they were gone like it'd never happened.

Anyway, since I don't think this was actually viewbotting, it just seems like some sort of weird glitched/fake views. With all the weird shit going on lately, I figure at least 1 person might've experienced something like this recently, or in general.

What the hell??? I either got viewbotted last night or analytics were BUGGING

Seriously weird shit, and analytics are still broken (0 views for June 30 - July 2nd) but general graph looks fine, just views for the month are off.

All my videos last night were getting shit tons of views which I thought was very odd, especially all to be from "browse features" only. Still, I thought it was incredible work from the algorithm at first. I woke up earlier today and checked, all of my views were down like it never happened.

What the hell? Did this happen to anyone else? I've been on YT for 20 years and never had anything like this happen to me.

Edit: It APPEARS like it's partially fixing, but I don't know. 1 particular video was getting clicked on literally every 5 seconds, it was insane, but none of those views were counted towards the total. I just noticed the analytics for 2:00-3:00am suddenly appear normal, but then the following hours, 0 views. I seriously don't know what is up with this place lately lol.

Well, nvm that, it shifted back.

I'd appreciate at least some kind of answer instead of being downvoted for no reason considering nothing like this has ever happened to me, so I'd think it had to have happened to someone else. I seem to be experiencing the same thing again, maybe, I don't really know. I don't normally see bars with 20+ views within the same minute back to back.

Thanks

Did anyone else notice suddenly losing views on July 2nd? Suddenly appeared for me in the last 2 hours

I thought this massive downspike in views looked odd, because I remember that day being an increase actually, so it dropped exactly 2,000 views, wth? Analytics seem all bugged out lately. Just wanted to be sure this wasn't just happening to me, or perhaps for someone else, this reports differently on another day. No videos have been removed or anything if that's even a factor.

I recall in April, there was a series of days where analytics reported 0 views for a lot of people. I recall it'd just been 1 day, then 2, then about 4 days in a row like that, this feels like a similar thing but I'm not sure.

Thanks!

Oh, forgot to mention how I'd noticed my total views for June suddenly being lower by like 50 views than it actually was, then it corrected itself, thought that was kinda odd too...

Edit: Oh wow, advanced mode is even more broken. The last day of June and July 1st both report 0 views.

Wait, wtf??? It keeps getting lower, it's now down another 1,000 views. I'm also noticing a TREMENDOUS decrease in my views today, so I don't know if YT is just breaking for a lot of people or what.

Edit 2: Welp, we've now reached 0 views for that day lol. I did a refresh pull on mobile and the drop is all the way down.

FINALLY it's fixed, that was so weird. My videos stopped getting any views for hours and now they're picking up again, so I guess the site just totally broke today lol (updating as of 12:00am 7/7)

Mass Alt Care's been killing it lately - Coughy Cake (my fav from them)

This one never missed before, but damn, it's a never miss even more this time around. Pretty much finished with the Q, grabbed it on June 9th. Sadly didn't get the best pics lol, but my phone is broken in various ways, so did the best I could.

Terpene distribution is great here. Last time, it was 2.30% and the Caryophyllene was the same, but Limonene and Myrcene were very low. The cake terps were even better. What I love about this one is how much it feels like Sour Diesel to me, one of the only other strains I could say will "never miss" (granted it's a good grow/cut). So hard to find the original cut from 30 years ago these days, but Coughy Cake hits me just as well.

I couldn't really pin that on the terps, I guess just something about these particular pheno of Layer Cake was chosen because it's headier? I know MAC love to make phenos out of the same parents strains. They got at least a dozen Dark Desire phenos, if not more. Either way, these guys seem like they're continuing to get better. 26.32% THC is very high for me, so this has been getting me extremely fucking blasted to say the least lol. This is one of few strains I could never get tired of and always gets me feeling how I need to be.

Oh, based 4/20 harvest date. It was destined to hit.

Is it normal for views to drop end of month?

Title, I see mixed things about this. Personally, I don't think I've really noticed this as a trend, but a lot of things are pretty questionable these days. I heard there was some recent backend update or something. Anyway, yeah, usually it's either they drop or they pick up massively, there's never really been an in-between for me. This time around, it's from massively to pretty huge downward spike. June was a pretty good month as far as the algorithm goes for me, but it's still something I struggle to understand.

Have been partnered since December 2010, but I honestly never really started paying closer attention to analytics until the past couple years. Sadly, I have terrible OCD lol, so it's very easy to get hung up on things I don't understand or can't really change. Though, I did have to shoutout to teamyoutube on Bluesky to fix some old broken index videos. It seems those of us who've been here since 2005-2006 run into this problem more? But I'm not really sure, since I know people who joined around that time who haven't run into this, while some others have. They'd managed to at least make the video IDs show up again in search which was great, you just add any of them to a playlist and the playlist doesn't exist, even in YT Studio lol.

Anyway, yeah I wasn't sure if this can just happen sometimes. I figure it would seem pretty normal considering it's having to calculate payouts, view total for the month and all that. Not the strongest year for my channel, July through October last year was this algorithm explosion and it was just awesome, hadn't seen anything like that in a decade. So, to even reach similar heights for 3 different months this year has been nice, it just hasn't been consecutive.

Thanks!

The not being able to see what pages people like/follow, how th did that JUST roll out to me today? I see people posting 5-6 months ago about it

Yeah, I'm so confused, and I doubt anyone's made some extension to workaround. I had a legitimate reason to be checking the likes on my grandfather's Facebook. He's 81, early dementia and has been liking some seriously awful pages with no recollection. So, tbh, I have genuine use for it considering I was helping to notify him of this. I've asked him to give me his password before but he got a bit pissed. It's... all a bit hard to explain.

About Fluconazole and dry mouth (which is apparently so rare that only 1% of people experience it)

Thrush is such a bitch, and then oral thrush sucks too. Fluconazole I've noted can cause my mouth to get insanely dry (I think?) it's hard to tell. I know dry mouth = thrush getting worse, or something. My tongue doesn't look as white now, but wow, my mouth has been so dry. I'm normally hypersalivating from how bad it is.

Only reason I'm asking this is because I saw another post where someone was saying dry mouth they got from Fluconazole sure beat the vaginal thrush they had (unless they had both). Anyway, all I'm really wondering is how many of you may experience a very dry mouth from Fluconazole in particular. I just wanted to be sure I'm not somehow making thrush worse as a result of the side effect, I guess? I tried Nystatin and the troche thing, forget. Clotemitrazole or something, neither worked and I was allergic to Nystatin.

Thanks : )

Atma Weapon's "Overcast" has an interesting thing about it, possibly a bug? Curious if others have noticed

I'd thought for awhile that this spell could basically inflict "discord" and halve your level, because I'd notice myself doing WAY less damage very often after he uses it. Terra I'll have doing 3,000 damage with level 2 spells, he'll use overcast, suddenly I'm not even dealing 2,000.

I remember thinking, oh she must not have her Earrings on... never mind, she does. I first noticed it with Locke who was suddenly only hitting for 250ish with his Hawkeyes, around 800 when he'd throw it, that's well more than half of the damage he deals.

I looked at Overcast in FF3USME, it doesn't show anything like the Discord status. It's obviously not halving the level totally considering that Terra's doing nearly 2,000 rather than 1,500 or below, so it made me think Atma Weapon can somehow get Safe/Shell on him after using the attack.

This doesn't happen every time, but it seems to happen most of the time (on SNES, anyway). I no longer own the GBA release but was never fond of it because of the lag and music. I've seen quite a bit of Pixel Remaster stuff, but the original releases I've always just preferred for just about any game, personally. SNES is also just my favorite console and it's not close.

So yeah, I'm genuinely curious if someone can explain this one. I looked at Atma Weapon's script as well, but nothing is noticeable, it's strange. Something is being affected by that attack, but it's seemingly invisible. Things that break through physical and magic defense still do the same amount, so it makes me think it's some kind of Safe/Shell mechanic.
