Does anyone know if there's a channel or video where people break down the myths and monsters in Supernatural episodes and breaks down the real lore? Kind of like those BuzzFeed breaks it down vids? Because I would watch the absolute hell out of that.

Okay so I just finished season two of Supernatural (absolutely perfect btw,) and I'm basically looking for fic recs that don't spoil the upcoming seasons.

Under normal circumstances I would just wait to finish a series before I go looking for fics ... .but fifteen seasons ... .I'm patient, but not that patient. I just cannot wait that long before cruising down AO3 avenue.

I don't really have any preferences or anything, as long as they're in English and complete then it's good enough for me.

I'll probably just keep making posts like this after I finish a season, so I can just read fanfics alongside watching it, and yeah , once I finally finish it all, everything is fair game for me.

I'm not trying to find a loophole or sneak into Italy to work illegally. Quite the opposite, I want to know what I would need to arrange beforehand so I can do this properly.

I've seen various work-exchange and volunteering websites mentioned online, but I'm getting conflicting information about whether receiving accommodation or food in exchange for volunteer work counts as work under Italian immigration rules.

For a 20-year-old UK citizen/resident, what kind of visa or immigration permission would I actually need to volunteer legally in Italy, particularly if accommodation or food is part of the programme?

If anyone has personally done this as a UK citizen since Brexit, I'd especially appreciate your experience.

I'm a 20-year-old UK resident and I'm trying to figure out whether there's a legitimate way for me to spend some time volunteering in Italy.

I'm going to be completely honest about the financial side: I currently have basically no money. I'm not looking for a free holiday or trying to exploit anyone. I'm genuinely willing to work and contribute whatever hours a programme requires. My problem is simply that I can't afford the usual cost of travelling and paying for accommodation abroad.

Italy has been a dream of mine for a long time, especially Lake Como, and I'm trying to find a realistic route there that doesn't require me to already have hundreds or thousands of pounds.

I've looked into the European Solidarity Corps, but because I'm UK-based and Brexit has complicated eligibility, that doesn't seem to be a straightforward option for me.

Ideally, I'd love to find something where accommodation is provided and food/expenses are at least partly covered, while I contribute my time and labour as a volunteer. I would definitely put in the required time and effort, as I don't believe in freeloading, and I was raised in a household that does not condone slacking off at all.

I'm specifically looking for legitimate, legal programmes, not loopholes or ways around immigration rules.

Okay, so let me explain it. I've been wanting to write fanfiction for a drama called Mysterious Lotus Casebook that I haven't written fanfiction for before, and for some reason, I just can't get myself to really enter the zone, the flow state, the vibe is just not vibing with me.

Now, dont get me wrong, I absolutely love the drama. The moment it came out, I knew it would have me in an utter chokehold, and I have read a lot of fanfics by other people about it, but for some weird reason, when I try to write a fanfic, it just doesn't come up to par with my other works. I just can't understand it, I've been watching edits, I've been reading character analysis, and I have a pretty good understanding of teh characters, and I like them a lot, but I just...I literally have no clue what's wrong with me. I just dont know what needs to be done for me to start to, you know, enter that state of mind.

When I'm writing other stuff, it tends to just fly off the page, but I don't know why it's not the same in this case. I have the love and the passion for teh drama. If I didn't like it, I would get why it was so hard for me to write it, but that's not the case.

I'm going to rewatch it sometime this week, to get all my facts up to date and fresh in my mind, but if anyone has any tips on how I can truly immerse myself in it, or just ways to get that writer's buzz buzzing again, that would be great.

Okay, so here's what I remember from the plot. So Y/N is a schoolgirl (I think) from the modern era, and she had read teh comics, and I think she ends up falling out of a hotel window or something and ends up transmigrating. I think they were on a field trip to some sort of waterpark??

I remember her being pulled out of a river by Tanjiro after the hotel window falls, and they meet before his family is killed. I'm fairly certain she tries to prevent it, but it happens anyway, and due to demon blood mixing into her wounds, she becomes a demon.

Key moments: So Y/N sings A LOT. Very badly. Fairly certain she rickrolls the Kamado Family when they ask her to sing a song from their country. She sings the Cooking By The Book Lil Jon Remix, which was...something. Y/N cusses a lot, pretty much every chapter.

Two of her friends from shcool had also ended up transmigrating. One of them invents a new breathing form called Party Breathing, and he tells people that his name is Ben Dover.

...This is a crackfic, if you hadn't already guessed.

When Y/N was training with Urokodaki on * mountain, she got her period, and it was embarrassing for her because Urokodaki and Tanjiro have a really good sense of smell, so obviously everyone can smell it.

She started a cult based on Pepe the Frog because she was carving figurines of Pepe and kept leaving them everywhere. Oh! Ben Dovers' bird is a Blue-Footed Booby, I'm pretty sure.

The other friend had round glasses, I think, and ended up in the Butterfly Mansion. Oh, there was a side chapter where Y/N gets turned into a guy or walks around to test people's reactions. I think teh glasses friend is a lesbian as well. I think that was mentioned once or twice.

I think she jumped in front of Douma to save Rengoku, and later forms an alliance with him somehow. Oh, I feel like there was this other demon who was the one who brought her there.

The Pepe cult gets out of hand, so she has to dress up in a kimono with lily pads on it and wear a wooden Pepe mask ( pretty sure there was fanart for that) and jumps on a roof to adress the people and says stuff like " The pepe cult is a cult of love and peace so dont do bad stuff" or something along the lines of that.

Oh, Sanemi sees this, realises that only a demon hunter could jump on the roof like that, chases her, the demon that brought her to the world jumps in, teleports Sanemi into a lake, and the chapter ends with him screeching in rage.

There's also a scene where she's hanging on a chin-up bar doing chin-ups, and there's a fire underneath her, and she's doing endurance training.

So, I've been watching Veil Of Shadows on the living room TV, and while I really like it, and I thought it was pretty good...however, it's the main TV, so everyone is in the room and...yeah, a lot of complaints, and whatnot.

But I'm pretty sure the problem is they don't like xianxia/cultivation/magic type dramas with all these different demons and deities and spells and all of that.

I don't watch modern era dramas though, so period/Ancient China is more my style.

So I need a drama that I'll like and won't annoy everyone else with magic and fairies.

I think a palace intrigue drama or detective-style drama would be best.

Something along the lines of Love Like The Galaxy or Story of Kunning Palace. I've seen both, so I won't rewatch them. A League of Noblemen was really good as well, and I liked that a lot.

I feel like either Glory(Neo Huo) or The Glory (Chen DuLing) would be good picks, so unless I get better recs, I'll just flip a coin and pick one of those two.

Jin Zixun and Jin Zixuan. Jinzhu and Yinzhu. Wen Qing and Wen Ning.

Huaisang and Mingjue are apparently half-brothers, so the names not matching up in that case makes sense.

But I feel like Wangji and Xichen feel a bit odd. And didn't Wei Ying say something about the next generation being Ru? Hence Jin Rulan, so if Zixuan and Yanli had lived, and they had another child, that child would have had a 'Ru' name as well.

So, what's going on with Xichen and Wangji? Don't get me wrong, they're both nice names, and they suit teh characters, but they dont really have any theme there? If it were something like Xichen and Xiji, it would make more sense to me. Or maybe Wangchen and Wangji.

And what about Lan Qiren? Does Qingheng-jun's real name start with a Qi? I have a fic where I'm going to give him the name Lan QiLian. And I'm just trying to make it match rather than getting into the deep meanings and all of that, so I'm fine with that name for him in this instance.

But I still dont really get what happened to Xichen and Wangji. Maybe Madam Lan was the one who named them?

Also, a little side note. I always thought that Meng Yao getting the courtesy name Guangyao was just proof that his father never once saw him as legitimate, even after letting him join the clan. because if he did, he would have given him the name Ziyao, right? But Guang is the previous generation, therefore not part of the heirs, so yeah.

So, does anyone know where I can find a list of all the Gusu Lan rules mentioned throughout the novel/series/drama/etc? I know the basic ones you know, "dont talk and eat, " dont touch the forehead ribbon", "go to bed at nine", but does anyone know where I can get a list of them all?

Actually, if anyone has their own personal list where they've filled in the gaps and added their own headcanons, I wouldn't mind that either. It would just be nice to have it on hand to check when I'm writing fics.

I see this everywhere lately, but how well does it work? The results look good online, but that could be fake. So I'm not sure whether it's worth getting it.

So, I've seen a lot of my favourite makeup brands being sold on Aliexpress (FlowerKnows, Girlcult, etc.). And they are marketed as Girlcult and FlowerKnows, not some knockoff name. But are these products legitimate or just very good dupes? To be honest, I don't mind buying dupes of certain products sometimes to use as spares or filler makeup for practising a look because I don't want to waste good products on practice. But are they real or not? Becasue they pricing is better, but it's still not dirt cheap, and I wouldn't want to spend a decent amount on dupes.

I know Aliexpress is a Taobao reseller, and you can find small businesses and some legitame brand son there, but has anyone actually bought these products?

So, I have the Maybelline Super Stay up to 30H Lumi-Matte Foundation, and I kind of bought it on impulse. It's a good foundation, but I ended up realising that matte finish doesn't really look good on me, and glossy complements my face a lot more.

But I ended up buying two bottles of it, so I can't buy a new product until I finish the first two.

I ended up mixing some oils in to try and make it glossy. Avocado oil and jojoba oil were big mistakes, as they turned it three shades darker, and I looked ridiculous, as it was WAY off my true shade.

But then I had a bit of a mad scientist moment and mixed it in with my Extra Strength OGX Coconut Miracle Oil for Hair (I know, I know, please don't come for me TuT).

It looked amazing, and really glossy, and it made the foundation so much more blendable and glowy, and I was very happy with the result....

The only problem, my skin paid the price, and I had a huge breakout of big, ugly pustule pimples the very next day.

...So I learned my lesson.

But I still want to try to make it glossy. I think the reason why teh first two oils didn't work is that they both have their own colour, and aren't clear.

The hair oil was crystal clear, and I think that's why it looked good. I feel like baby oil would work out well, but does anybody have any better suggestions before I end up ruining my skin for a second time?
