Songs like ‘UNDER MY SKIN’ ‘AT A TIME LIKE THIS’ ‘WHAT’S IT TO HIM’ ‘LEARNING TO SWIM’ and probably more all use melodies that i find really unexpected for their choruses and i find it really interesting when he does that. i don’t really have much to say about this i didn’t think it through i just thought id share it so yeah
i just listened to heaven or las vegas as my first cocteau twins album. what the fuck am i hearing i’ve never heard anything like this before it’s so
chaotic but also so smooth and hypnotic at the same time. and i’ve heard all the jokes about how you can’t understand the lyrics but wow i really can only make out about 5 words per song. the music just sounds so interesting

Yes he’s obviously medicated but he’s not a zombie you’re just too used to seeing him in a manic state. Most of the time he’s acting like a normal person. Like that time recently when he went over to a bunch of people with cameras and waved at them. People were making a big deal about it when really he was just acting like a normal functioning person. Do you want him to catch another battery charge like he did in 2013?
Also of course he’s going to be a bit slow sometimes he’s 49 years old. He was walking slow off stage after performing (with a lot of energy too) for two hours and people were saying he wasn’t there or he was too medicated. NO😭😭😭 he was just tired and he’s getting old.
Ye is probably more mentally stable right now than he has been in years (probably pre TLOP). Why is this fanbase so obsessed with acting like he’s being silenced and there’s a huge conspiracy against him. Just appreciate that your favourite artist is mentally stable after a decade minimum of going in and out of mania.

Even ignoring the obvious issue of the AI vocals I still think it’s a bad song. The real vocals have zero energy or charisma, the flow isn’t that interesting and i find the production really empty and boring
