Found some old school Jets autographs from my childhood

Got these signed when I was a little kid. Morris Lukowich was my favorite player at the time.

We're officially as far from Raiders of the Lost Ark's release date (1981) as it's release was from when it was said to take place (1936).

2026 vs 1981 vs 1936. If Raiders was made today, set in the year 1981, how different would it be?

Internet browsers crash randomly and system will occasionally "encounter a problem and need to restart."

It's more irritating than anything, but my Windows 11 system tends to restart seemingly at random, and my internet browsers (Firefox or Opera) will crash and need to be restored often. Games seem to have become more unstable as well.

My rig is a i9 14900KF 3.20GHz with a GeForce RTX 4080 Super 16 GB GDDR6X.

I've tried a few fixes, but my expertise is not great. So far I've tried the following CMD procedures (please don't laugh if it was the wrong thing to do):

DISM /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

Result:

Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool
Version: 10.0.26100.8521

Image Version: 10.0.26200.8655

[===========================64.2%=====                     ]
Error: 1726

The remote procedure call failed.

SFC /scannow

Result:

Beginning system scan.  This process will take some time.

Beginning verification phase of system scan.
Verification 100% complete.

Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

chkdsk /f

Result:

Seemed to complete properly upon restart, but crashes and restarts continue.

Any thoughts as to what I should do? Should I try a "Fresh Start" from Windows Security?

I would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

Core memory unlocked

Back in 1981, while I was in the height of my childhood Superman obsession, my family and I went on a vacation to Scotland. While I was there, I picked up a copy of Super Heroes Monthly #4, which featured two Supermen fighting over a beautiful alien woman with glowing eyes. SHM was a black and white reprint series that featured stories most often about the DC Trinity. I loved that issue, and still have it, although it's very evident how loved it was, as it's condition is terrible.

Last week I found not only the old issue I had, but a number of others from the same series. They include a treasure trove of reprints, including teak Curt Swan, Neal Adams, Jose Luis Garcia Lopez, and even early Frank Miller. It's no wonder why I loved them so much. I'm so glad I found them again!

Snagged some great autographs at Denver Fan Expo

Was able to meet Jeph Loeb, Art Adams, Klaus Janson, Simon Bisley, Cully Hamner, Kerry Gammill, Brett Breeding, and Frank Cho. There was all very nice and incredibly approachable.

Comic book shopping

My apologies if this gets asked a lot, but is the Denver Fan Expo a good place to find bargains on comic books, or is it more about rarity? Both? Neither? I'm just trying to figure out what to expect as I'm going for the first time.

Any advice would be appreciated.
