Workplace long lost ghost.

This might sound funny or a bit silly but I have been thinking about this for a while.

Shortly after I got hired at my current workplace, one of my colleagues told me that one of the cleaning staff saw a ghost/shadow figure in the hallway on the second floor going towards one of the offices. When she went to check “who” went inside the office, the office was empty and she was the only one on the second floors.

My colleague continued with the story and said that the cleaning staff told the manager about the ghost and told her to do something about it and suggested to call a priest to put holly water around our working place. The manger laughed and didn’t do anything about it. Because the manager didn’t do anything about it, the cleaning staff quit on the spot.

My colleague told me that the country where the cleaning staff comes from, they are very religious and she left the company because the manager didn’t take her seriously.

So my question about this story is… if there was actually a ghost / spirit at work, is there a way to communicate with it or bring it back? I’m unable to get an ouija board cuz I have nowhere to hide it. Or how do I know if this story is real or not?

Titanic Grave Sites, Halifax NS, Canada.

One hundred and twenty-one victims of the RMS Titanic sinking are interred at Fairview, more than any other cemetery in the world. Most of them are memorialized with small gray granite markers with the name and date of death. Some families paid for larger markers with more inscriptions. The occupants of a third of the graves, however, have never been identified and their markers contain just the date of death and marker number. Surveyor E. W. Christie laid out three long lines of graves in gentle curves following the contours of the sloping site. By co-incidence, the curved shape suggests the outline of the bow of a ship.^([3]) A complete listing of those victims buried in Fairview can be found here.

Lost & Found

I doubt the owner of this lunch bag uses Reddit but what are the chances, right? I was in the street car where i found it.

If this belongs to anyone, I have it. I’ll return it to the ttc lost and found office tonight (my work shifts ends at 830pm so i might go right after).

If the owner happens to see this post, just confirm which streetcar you left it behind and the direction you were travelling.

Edit: Left at Lost and Found office on Bay station :)

Gateway Newstand - Open again.

This is at Don Mills station.

I’m not a big fan of Gateway Newstands (I think their products are kinda pricey, at least what I remember from back in the day). However, growing up in Toronto I always liked seeing these opened and to me, for some reason, it was kinda sad when they started closing down.

I always wondered what was going to happen to these empty spaces at all subway stations but I’m happy they are opening again.

Indigenous shop at the distillery.

I remember there used to be an indigenous shop at the distillery a couple of years ago. It was located somewhere near the clock and Demetre’s ice cream shop. I have a picture of what the shop looks like now to show where it was located exactly but it’s sad images can’t be posted in this community.

Does anyone remember/know the name of the store or where they are located now?

‘Don’t ride on the sidewalk’ sign.

I just saw this near the AGO and it’s is the first time I see this.

I agree with this but how come it’s not all around Toronto?
