Just got my first convoy, S2+ with a SFT-42R. To change the button cover do you have to remove the pill or whatever it's called? Or do you do it fully assembled?

Just got my RGT coarse canvas green micarta scales installed on my sage 5 salt and I'm really happy with how it turned out, deffenetly happy I got the coarse canvas. Fixed my main issue which was a bit of a hotspot near the compression lock. Last time installed micarta scales (on my para 3) the loctite must have touched the micarta as I was putting in the pivot and it spread all around the pivot in the scale (I know only use a tiny drop) and looked pretty bad so I don't loctite it this time, do you guys absolutely always use loctite or not every time? (I just use purple)

Super excited to try out the SFT-42R. Is it hard to change out the button? Think it would look cool with the MAO
