How likely is it that there will be swimming pools available at albergues/hotels along Frances? Starting in 2 weeks and debating on bringing a suit or not. I've seen some photos of pools and such, but are they common or not really?

Have you brought a bathing suit, and did you use it?

I just saw the opening ceremony for the US/Paraguay game, and there was a volunteer doing the flag, but he had on a very noticeable pair of black pants!! What even?

I just did my first ever half marathon yesterday. I can't believe I actually went through with it, because I started training for it about a month ago, then had to stop everything due to a nerve issue hitting the back of my leg. I had to rest my leg for about 3 weeks. I didn't think the nerve pain would be gone before the half, but it dissipated slowly and was 99% gone in time.

So I did the half with barely any training. Was it stupid? YES. Am I suffering today? ALSO YES. But did I get a shiny medal? You bet!!

I did it in 3h42m 🤣🤣 but I did it!! Slowest half ever!

And apparently this specific race is one of the hardest half marathons in the state. It was insanely difficult, and I'm still shocked that I did it!

All this to say- you don't have to be fast, you don't have to be super trained, all you have to do is keep moving!

I will be graduating with my masters at the end of summer. I am definitely in my mid-life era, I've got a kid who will be starting high school that same week, and my graduation is 6 hours away- which means making a trip/spending the night/meal costs/etc.

Back in 2022, I finally graduated with my BA and we did make a big deal about it. Full graduation ceremony, silly photo shoot, small party, yard decorations- all the fun stuff! But I never thought I could/would go for a masters degree. However, here I am! I did the thing! (Well, almost)

I had already said I didn't want to go because of costs and time constraints, but the more I think about it, the more I might feel I might regret not going?

What would you do? Any advice is appreciated!

We need to wear our uniforms to role-specidic training, right? No one said anything about that today as I got my uniform and accreditation, but I feel like I did see it somewhere that we need to?

Don't lose hope yet if you haven't heard anything! I literally just got a role offer this morning (Dallas) so I guess they are ramping up the offers before the end of the month!
