The world's smallest eScooter charger

We want to thank the entire eScooter community which supported us, participated in the beta tests, gave us feedback and made this project possible. Without you it wouldn't be possible.

The worlds smallest and lightest charger is now live at https://www.travelwattcharger.com/

This project took a little over 6 months of continous development, prototyping, testing, and repeating those steps, and a lot of joint effort from eScooter enthusiasts that selflessly helped get this project completed.

Together we went through three versions of the charger and tested it on more than 15 different models of eScooters, identified and fixed issues and had a great time.

240W USB-C eBike charger ready for testing!

A while ago I made a post with the idea to make a USB-C charger for our eBikes/eScooters/eSkates. This lovely community was good enough to financially support me with my idea and we have sucessfully developed the first version of the prototypes. Now I am looking for anybody else who wants to give USB-C charging a try.

For anybody interested make a post here or send me a message directly.

Like before, I offer the charger without profit. The material cost is 50 USD and world-wide shipping is 20 USD. There are only a limited amount of prototypes left so I will send them out first come first served.

To achieve the maximum 240W of charging you will have to mount the charger PCB on a heatsink. A lot of users also mounted it on big metal surfaces that provided adequate cooling. I will provide the charger, and the thermal pad to put in between the charger and the heatsink, you just make the holes and screw it tight.

Here is a picture of the Charger mounted on a heatsink and charging at the 240W of power.
