What’s the actual process and timeline look like?

For those that have used Delivrd, what was the onboarding process like?

What vehicle did you get?

How long was the timeline from onboarding to keys in hand?

How much back and forth contact was there throughout the process?

I’ve watch Tomi for over a year now and I’m strongly considering using their services but I’d like some more information on the whole process so any insight would be appreciated

SoCal CX-50 Preferred OTD results?

I’m on the car hunt right now and I’m smitten with the CX-50 Hybrid Preferred. My budget ideally would be $35k anyone had any luck securing one in Southern California for less than that? The lower I can get under my budget the better! Also any recommendations in terms of Dealerships in the LA, OC, SD areas?

I’m looking to buy in September or October if that matters, never bought a new car before but I’m told many manufacturers and dealers are more willing to do deals in the fall

Which ~$35k Hybrid Sedan would you recommend

I drive a LOT right now (~45k miles a year) and I’m looking for a new Hybrid Sedan or Hatchback to replace my aging 02 Toyota Avalon. I have a 180 roundtrip commute for work all of which is all highway driving with minimal traffic. I live in Southern California so don’t need AWD or anything special for weather or winter conditions. My main priorities are Fuel Efficiency, Reliability and driver assistance tech like lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control and safety tech to improve my long commute driving experience.

Right now my top contenders are:

Honda Civic Sport touring

Toyota Prius LE

Toyota Camry LE

Hyundai Elantra Hybrid Limited

Hyundai Sonata hybrid Sel

Or the Mazda 3 as a non hybrid alternative

Am I missing any options? Which of those would you recommend?

Would you trust a 2026 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid for a high usage commuter?

Shopping for a new car to rely on as a 180 mile round trip commuter and the Elantra Hybrid seems really interesting given its efficiency, technology and price point. My commute is exclusively highway driving at speed with rarely any traffic. Is the Elantra Hybrid broadly reliable? What are some common issues?

180 mile highway daily commute, no access to home charging. Is the Bolt a bad choice for me?

I’m in the market for a new car, but due to circumstances outside of my control I have to commute 180 miles exclusively on the highway to work daily for the next two years. I also don’t have the ability to charge an EV at home so would need to rely exclusively on public charging stations. I live in Southern California so weather is not really an issue in terms of Cold or adverse conditions. I’ve also done some preliminary research and there are fast charging cables stations within 1-5 miles of both my home and office and I’m working nights 10pm-6am so would be able to charge in the mornings or evenings before or after work in my areas off peak hours.

With all that in mind, I really like the new Bolt and would love to break into the EV car space, is the bolt a bad choice for me given my commute and charging constraints?

Is it worth it for a first time car buyer?

Basically the title, but I am a 32M looking to buy my first new car here in the next couple of months and the horror's of the dealership are looming large in my imagination especially since I've never had the "pleasure" of having to deal with a dealership before. All the car's I've ever owned up to this point have either been family hand me downs (96 Camry was my first car) or purchased from family members directly (My current 02 Avalon). Is Delivrd a good idea for a first time car buyer? My older brother and Dad seem to think its either A) a waste of money or B) Not a service I should use because car buying is a skill everyone should develop and you can only do so by doing it yourself.

Also is it worth it if I'm not even looking for a particularly expensive or exotic car? I am still deciding between the options right now but I'm either going with a Honda Civic Sport Hybrid, Toyota Prius LE or Camry LE/SE.

Also, I know the service is not a money savor explicitly but what was your experience if you have used them? Did they save you any money? Or was it mostly just the saving of time and Hassel that you got in exchange for using their services?

New to investing, is SoFi Robo investing a good starting platform?

I’ve only recently gotten a hold of my finances and would like to start investing in a Roth IRA, is SoFi a good investment platform for a beginner? And more specifically is the Robo investor a good hands off option?

Feds much smarter and in the know than me, does this mean I (a CBP Technician in OFO) can finally rest easy that my pay will be paid on time for the remainder of the fiscal year?
