Best way to prepare for this strike is to double up on the buses and trains but MTA and NICE aren’t going to do that. Buses and trains should be back to back in order to avoid over-crowdedness, but will that be the case? Hell no. The strike is the scapegoat. Things are gonna be a mess on MTA buses and trains, NICE buses, Metro North, Staten Island Railway, Staten Island Ferry, NJ Transit etc etc. And everyone’s excuse? The LIRR strike.
Construction on highways are gonna continue, causing even more traffic. Until this strike is over, it’s gonna be a shit show. Best of luck to everyone who’s still gonna commute and be safe.

Yesterday the 4:12 to Wantagh was packed. Now? Barely anybody is on. I guess more ppl wfh on Fridays. Thank you wfh ppl for doing that 🤣

I usually go to Woodside but once I seen no trains from Penn to Jamaica, and Woodside is in between, I hauled ass to GC. But man oh man was GC packed.
I also noticed NO trains even arrived at Woodside.
Besides Edie Falco as Nurse Jackie, it feels like everyone else has spent the last twenty years living in the shadow of the Bing.
I know Michael Imperioli was in The White Lotus.
Steve Buscemi had Boardwalk Empire.
Then you have Little Stevie basically playing Silvio 2.0 in Lilyhammer.
But compared to the cultural weight of this show, it feels like the rest of the cast hit their ceiling in 2007. Maybe the show was just cast too perfectly?

Is this ticket valid for a round trip, or just a single ride?
The description feels a bit contradictory: it states the ticket is "good for one ride" in either direction, but then says it "expires at 4 AM the following morning." Given those terms, can I use this one ticket to go into work and then use the same ticket to get back home later that day? Or do I need to purchase two separate tickets for a commute?
