Will factory 308 Barnes 150gr TTSX reliable open with a 16 in barrel?

Have the chance to buy some Barnes factory ammo local from a guy for cheap. Would a 16 in barrel have enough velocity to open these bullet up inside 200 yards?

Barnes 308 150gr TTSX expansion and barrel question. (More in description)

Local guy is selling boxes of factory Barnes 308 150gr TTSX for $30 and I have a Tikka T3x Hunter 16in in 308 I’d like to use them with. Does the 16in have the length to open these up inside 200 yards?

Bought this 6 years ago and forgot I owned it. What am I missing to start punching out 308, 30-06, 45-70 gummit?

First season of straight wall, I have a 45-70, what bullet do y’all recommend for deer inside 150.

NEF 22inch Handi-rifle, deer, I know I’m hunting mice with a rocket launcher but I’m worried the Federals will fly like a bowling ball and the Hornady’s will punch through with little expansion

Need help preventing scratches if possible.

Remington 725 30-06 scratches easily. My dad’s gun and I took it last year and it gets these faint scratches. Doesn’t look like a big deal but in person you can easily see them. None of my other wood stocked guns scratch like this one. Is there any oil or coating to help prevent this? Heirloom gun I don’t want to beat to death

Can Beckett, JSA certifications be forged? Looking for an autograph, willing to pay to be authentic but know nothing about this world

Looking for an actors signature, willing to pay for it to be 100% authentic but just don’t know the best way to go about buying something. I hear Beckett and JSA are good to go but didn’t know if there’s scams or tricks, (coming from precious metals, there’s little tricks to actually detect a fake). Any help is appreciated

Changing fluids?

I’ve heard multiple people say “don’t change Trans and diff fluid unless it’s giving you trouble”. I know auto trans fluid is usually around 100k and rear diff fluid around 25k. Am I doing harm by changing them? Was gonna do a drain and fill by my tech on the trans and drain and fill my own rear diff

Abnormal shifting when stopping. More info below

2000 Prerunner 3.4L auto shifting hard when stopping at a light or stop sign. It’s butter smooth going up and coming down but when it stops it has issues. I’d say 3-3.5/10 10/10 being it’s shitting the trans out, while all other shifting is fine. Is this a wear sign for the trans? Just did a scheduled drain and fill about 200 miles ago. Recent buy so no idea about long term history of trans

Optimal bullet for 308 at 150 yards and in for deer? 16 inch Tikka T3x Hunter, would the short barrel restrict heavier bullets?

Best way to contact landowners who live long distance for hunting permission?

I have DYNAMITE property next to one I recently acquired and the land owner lives on the other side of the country. I’ve in the past done letters but really suffered (.75%) success rate. Would a phone call be too direct. Really would like to lease this and a few more around that live long distance.
