It’s pushing 6 years soon. Never had a single issue with it until buying Battlefield 6 last year, then it constantly started crashing to either the Home Screen; or shutting down completely (only while running BF6).

Decided I’d finally open it up, and take it apart myself. I’m not a “tech guy”, so if I can do this then you can absolutely do this.

You’ll need:

• T 8 (Torx 8) screwdriver for everything.

• Knoife or a really thin/long flathead to remove baseplate.

• Clean brush if heatsink is dirty.

• Canned Duster (don’t inhale ALL of it).

Honestly was shocked at how clean it was after nearly 6 years of daily use. Now I’m certain it’s BF6 causing the crashes.

What do you guys think is the reason behind these phenomenally skilled low level accounts massively dominating games lately?

First of all, E-Day looks absolutely phenomenal!

With that being said, one of my closest childhood friends (I’m pushing 40 this year) recently lost his battle to cancer. We played every single GoW title together, literally thousands of hours played.

We each served in the military, and it’s how we primarily kept in touch when we’d be at a base or FOB with internet. We’d always joke that he’s Marcus and I’m Dom.

While I’m sincerely excited, thinking about playing it without him, watching the new gameplay trailers etc etc, has really been tearing at my heart.

Not trying to sound like a pussy, but it just feels “wrong” enjoying something we each loved, and honestly I have to hold back tears thinking about playing GoW without him. When he passed, it felt like I was Marcus in GoW3 watching Dom go.

Anyways. I don’t even know why I made this post.

In less than 3 weeks the buyout which was agreed upon the week before BF6 launched will be finalized.

Do you guys feel the new company/Devs will follow through on what was promised last August, or do you feel it will be more of the same?

Before I continue, I’d like to state that I’m all for the PC community having the option to only play with other PC players as well.

Many console players have decided to run BF6 with cross-play off for a myriad of reasons. Having the OPTION to still game with PlayStation friends while on Xbox, and vice versa; while also avoiding the PC community would unite two segregated player communities who already aren’t participating in matchmaking with PCs.

Right now with cross-play off, as an Xbox gamer it will only queue us with other Xbox gamers. Same situation on the PlayStation end. The game quality is by far superior with cross-play disabled.

This post/request is not intended to flame the PC community, or discuss/compare input etc etc; it is simply trying to bring segregated player communities together, massively reduce bot lobbies, and help BF6.

Again, this OPTION will unite two segregated player communities who already are not in the matchmaking pool with the PC community. (AKA PC players, your matches won’t be impacted by this if it is implemented).

Many older games have this option (Apex Legends for an example).

FYI I’m colorblind (that’s why enemies are green etc. Legit used to have to put a whiteout dot on my screen where the ADS reticle is before you could adjust reticle color because reds are nearly impossible for me to see).

Please check this before you vote for anyone regardless of their party.
