What’s a great routine to get rid of Anterior Pelvic Tilt?

I have a pretty bad Donal Duck back from long years of working sitting down, which prevents me from kicking higher in martial arts, and an overall bad posture, also bad mobility. What’s a good routine that has helped you. I’m looking to work on it several times a week, man even several times a day, to get rid of it as soon as possible. Maybe a quick morning routine and an evening routine as well. I’m open to yoga routines, body weight exercises, stretching, anything that helps. I’m also thinking about investing in a standing desk. Thanks

Beware of this scammer Motor_Deer6189

https://imgur.com/a/mhwNq7t

This scammer reached out after I made a post looking for a video editor last week. For some shitty reason out of everyone who replied to my post I decided to go with this piece of shit. He asked if he could get paid before starting the project, because he had been robbed before, I said no. Then we agreed I would pay half and half when he was finished.

At the end he kept postponing the project for three days, I sent him the footage Wednesday, he was supposed to have the project finished by Friday and he stopped replying entirely on Sunday. He mentioned he’s from Cairo Egypt, even told me not to hire anyone from India because they’re scammers.

If you come across this piece of shit, do not hire him if you want to save your time. I was late delivering the project, thankfully someone more professional edited and delivered the project on time. Also, never under any circumstances pay in advance, not even half.

We also need a pinned post with all the scammers people have come across to help us avoid pieces of this like this one.

How do you even get started with lighting?

It seems so overwhelming I don’t even know where to begin. I want to get into product, portrait and restaurant photo and video. The videos I have seen on YouTube all have a different technique, some use reflectors, other different types of lighting setups and speed lights.

Any basics to get a more fundamental understanding? When I shoot events I have my external flash on my camera and I’m ready to go (although I have been wanting to up my game by setting up external flashes around the venue. Any tips as well?)

For some reason this is the most difficult part of photography I can come across, compared to composition and exposure. I’m happy to learn more, but need some basic understanding. Thanks.

Also, what’s a good and versatile lighting/flash to get started? I have heard the Godox AD300 Pro is good for out doors and indoors for continuous light.

[HIRING] Creative video editor to put together IG Reels of night life and clubs. Ongoing work.

Hi,

Event Photographer here, getting into video territory since many clients are requesting it. I usually shoot 5-30 second clips with multiple cameras of people dancing and having fun, the venue, the whole vibe and I just need someone to put it together creatively using the beat of the music, speed ramps, creative transitions, fast-cuts, color grading. I have samples to show.

What I'm looking for:

  1. Quick turnaround time, not rushed, but clients expect quick results.

  2. Experience in event editing.

  3. Multiple edits if needed, sometimes promoters may not be happy and request something different.

  4. Communication for anything, delay edits, too much work, don't just leave me hanging.

Send me your portfolio, let's see your work and hopefully we are a good match. Looking to grow with someone long term and have a great partnership. Thanks and have a great day.

Does the Mx Master 4 get hot in Palm area like the 3s

I had no intention of upgrading, until I saw the 4 at Best Buy. I loved the haptic feedback for the thumb button. I always found the thumb button too hard on the 3s.

Not enough reason to upgrade and spend another $100+ though, unless the new hard plastic material doesn’t get as hot as the rubber of the 3s. It’s hard to explain, not sure if anyone experiences the same thing, but when I use the 3s for long periods of time I just feel my palm hot. Not a regular body heat feeling, but it’s almost itchy. Sometimes I have to wipe it down with a wet towel to try to cool it down, but couple of minutes later it’s hot again.

I wonder if it’s the rubber material that conserves heat. Anyone know what I’m talking about and does the hard plastic material gets as hot as well? Thanks

Videographer here, what's a good audio recorder for 1-5 hour sets?

I know nothing about turntables lol. I'm just trying to get the best possible quality audio without breaking the bank. I have been suggested Zoom H4essential, any others, or any other cables I'll need?

Thanks.

Átomos Ninja 5 HDR good enough for a five hour 4k recording without overheating?

Instead of timing myself and having to press record button three times on my Nikon ZF, I thought about bypassing it’s recording limit by getting a Ninja 5 HDR.

However it’s a long period of time. It’ll be stationary on a tripod/magic arm in a nightclub, which I have no idea how hot it will be in there but at least it won’t be under direct sunlight.

My Shinobi II can get pretty hot and that’s without recording built in, so I have no idea how hot a Ninja 5 will get. Thanks.

What is your favorite and least favorite backpack?

My current favorite backpack is the Shimoda Action 25L. Big enough to carry two camera bodies, three lenses, Rode mic, speed light, other accessories and still have plenty of room left. The straps are super comfortable and I love it has large pockets. I have also used it for out of town weekends, it holds couple of clothes.

Second favorite is the Brevite Jumper, pretty small, doesn’t look like a camera backpack, but it holds a good amount of gear.

My least favorite backpack is the Peak Design Everyday Backpack 25L. After the hype died out, I realized how bad of an overprice backpack it really was. On paper it sounded like a great backpack, revolutionary with side access, but in day to day it was a horrible experience. Even though it was a 25L, like the Shimoda, it felt like a 15L. I couldn’t really fit a lot of gear and it would rattle like crazy. The straps are super thin, I can’t believe after all the engineering that went into the bag how bad the straps were. It always left me with shoulder pain.

What are yours?

Is the Mavic Mini 5 Pro pretty much the equivalent of the Mavic 2 Pro, but in a smaller size?

I love the Mavic 2 Pro, bought it day one and it’s been a beast. I haven’t had any issues or reasons to upgrade, other than having to connect my phone to the remote or can’t charge via USB-C.

Looking at the Mavic Mini 5 Pro, I like it can shoot vertical and it also has a 1” sensor. The wind resistance tests I saw on YouTube look very promising. I also love that’s way smaller and lighter. Anyone has owned both can compare them? I usually do event and cityscape photography. Thanks.

Ever since I was a kid I loved drawing, but never really learned. Now I feel there are so many styles that it’s overwhelming. I want to draw doodles, since I feel it’s the easiest, but also more realistic cartoon characters and people faces. What’s a good way to start and develop my own style? Thanks.

I was thinking about getting a website to look more professional. Since Adobe Portfolio is free and already included with LR subscription. I’ll just get a domain name. I think I can get creative. How much do you usually pay for your website? Thanks

Hi, I did several gigs for free and now I have enough material to begin charging. I’m also more confident with my experience. I do event and nightclub and I usually reach out to people through instagram.

Any advice how you guys reach out to new potential clients and how do you bring up your rates? I’m also in the process of networking over making money, do you charge less of what you would normally charge? Thanks.

Hi, anyone with this specific handle can tell me if the NATO rail is compartible with other NATO side handles? I have wooden handles that I’d love to use from time to time when I don’t have to shoot low angles. Thanks.

u/HuskerDue — 4 months ago

I love wooden side handles, unfortunately they are fixed. Are there any adapters to turn fixed side handles into rotating side handles? Thanks.

Hi,

I currently use a Godox V100 and two Lume Cubes for event, which they serve me well. Now I’m looking to get into more professional portraits and product photography and on site portraits.

Question is the Godox AD300 a good starting point? I like it can be run on batteries for street portraits and on site portraits as well. I can also attach an umbrella. Thanks.
