Giving my gecko her shot!
Margaret got mouth rot while she was with a different caretaker, she's now finished with her antibiotics and is recovering well :)

I have this tank I've been using for propitiating some plants and I was wondering what isopods could do well in here, since all the plants are tropical it tends to be pretty moist in here without much of a humidity gradient. For now there's just springtails and dwarf white isopods in here!
So obviously, I got a blowout.. I stretched my ears from a 2g to a 1g, everything slid in like BUTTER but all of a sudden, after a few days my left earlobe began feeling sore and irritable. How long should I go without jewelry?
The jewelry I stretched with was solid stainless steel (yes, I know I should have opted for implant grade titanium) I've never had any prior problems with stainless steel and I've kept stainless steel in my 6g septum for the last 6 months without issues.
At the moment I've been cleaning my ears with a sterile saline spray and soaking my ear for a few minutes today in a fresh paper towel drenched in the aforementioned saline spray. What else should I do to help it heal??
And for further contexts, I have pretty bad eczema and I'm almost wondering if this could be eczema related. I will be seeing my doctor soon and if this issue persists, it will be mentioned to her.
For anyone who saw my previous post about my little boy, he's gained weight! I just wanted to share some photos of him.
This is Mr Balls, despite her name she is a female. She's previously been bred but hasn't been in contact with a male in a long time. She's 10 years old and I can't tell if she's just fat or not. I've felt her belly and looked with a flashlight and I can't see of feel anything so I think she might just be fat. Let me know what you think or how to check if she's preggy! And there's a picture of her dumb face at the end for funsies!
Anyone have any tips for healing a surface tragus? I got this cutie this morning and I figured that someone on here could give some insight to their experience!
My gecko Custard with random objects, she's almost 2 years old and eats upwards of 5 mL of food a day but she doesn't gain weight or get bigger 😭 I've had her for about a year now, she eats her bugs too but she's stayed a little lady.
My Madagascar hissing cockroaches are all different colors and I think they're so neat looking!
Was checking on my colony and found this fella! Pretty neat.
My little old man is a Bertopia gecko and he's still so active and incredibly healthy. He's about 12 years old and just the cutest little guy. 10/10 recommend Bertopia for any gecko needs! And yes, he has dirt on his head. Somehow he managed to climb to the top of his tank without dropping the dirt
I'm checking out a few tanks for my little boy to get started on soon so it's nice and the plants are settled by the time he's big enough, would this be a good tank? Or could it be too big, he's a very active gecko and I want to add lots and lots of live plants, sticks and caves with sphagnum moss inside (he loves the caves) And if you have any suggestions for something cheaper, let me know!
I'm a first time tokay gecko owner and I worry that he's a bit too skinny for his age (est 6mo-1yr) he's gained tons of weight (25.6g to 35.8g) in the last month I've owned him but he just keeps getting longer and not chubbier. Is this normal for a juvenile tokay? Please leave advice for him to gain weight! For more information about him: He will only eat crickets and roaches, I've tried several different kinds of worms like super worms, hornworms, earthworms, and wax worms but he won't eat any of them! The most I've been able to get him to eat is a few super worms but he'll often spit them out after he bites it. I've provided some photos of him if that will help at all. His vet appointment is coming up soon so hopefully I'll get more information on him soon but for now I'd love some owner-to-owner advice!
