They either have an extremly long windup, making It impossibile to win against good players, way to relient on the Survivor which makes the killer luck based, or you make the windup short and have the killer be broken. Also, homing attacks are not reliable at all. If you want to make a ranged killer. Make It be a killer that has a close up M1 but dependent on his other ranged abilities (don't make them unbalanced and overtuned like 1x thought)
