Iron Warriors invasion against Tau Empire

After reading Storm of Iron and Siege of Castellax I became a fan of Iron Warriors Legion. I hope we get Deamon-Primarch Perturabo model soon and maybe then also novel about him in modern timeline.

I want to ask community here about possible hypothetical scenario of Iron Warriors invasion against Tau Empire. Perturabo as we all know now have a plan to establish Infinite Citadel with central supply lines and entire worlds turned to the strongholds and bastions. That global strategy is planned against Imperium. But could it be possible that Perturabo want also destroy Xenos races?

Just really curious what hypothetically scenario could be if full Iron Warriors Legion with Deamon-Primarch Perturabo himself make full scale invasion against Tau Empire? Is it possible total destruction of Tau? Will it be possible after many sieges to come to the Tau capital world and exeminate or weak them?

Iron Within. Iron Without.

The Iron Warriors Legion. The masters of siege warfare and industrial superpower faction of Chaos Space Marines. With new Games Workshop campaign of Reign of Iron and with future return of Deamon-Primarch Perturabo I hope the Iron Warriors will be also sub-faction in totalwar 40k.

I think their best possible gameplay mechanic can be very similar to Chaos Dwarfs. Industrial superpower faction who use slaves for their economy. Very good and discipline Chaos army with central supply lines and strongholds gameplay.

My first TW Warhammer campaign after game launch will be definetly Space Marines campaign with customisation to look similar as Iron Warriors Legion. I will start to establish my own Empire of Iron against Xenos and Imperium.

What is your opinion about Iron Warriors possible gameplay? Will you also roleplay them at the start before we get Chaos DLC? Just really curious to hear community view about sons of Perturabo.

By the way for me personally Perturabo is same as Megatron from Transformers.

Death Guard Legion

Death Guard. One of original Space Marine Legion and former pround Astartes Crusaders. Do you think we will get them? How will their gameplay mechanic be intorduce? They are Plague Nurgle Marines so spreading rot and decay same as Kugaht from Warhammer Fantasy can also good option.

Lords of the Silence - the only one standalone Death Guard book

The Death Guard Legion is one of the most popular and interesting faction in lore and in the tabletop and GW with Black Library have only once book about them - Lords of the Silence by Chris Wraight. One of the best sci-fiction horror book about Death Guard. It is a great book. It inspired me to buy DG combat patrol and start to collect them.

How high is the chance that we get Lords of the Silence sequel abour Vorx or new standalone book about Death Guard in this or next year?

Do we know any news from Chris Wraight if he had plan to write about sons of Mortarion again?

Just curious because Lords of the Silence is the only one standalone book about Death Guard.

Are Death Guard in 40K the most purporseful and determined scientists?

After reading Lords of the Silence by Chris Wraight - on my point of view one of the best Black Library book, I have decided to collect Death Guard in tabletop.

From Lords of the Silence book I have finally realized that now the Death Guard Legion, once freedom Space Marines crusaders transformed into focused and driven scientists with philosophy centers on grimdark endurance and absolute resilience through eternal suffering, and the inevitability of life and decay.

This Space Marines warriors who used to be in Great Crusade hypno-indoctrinated, now after thousands of years employ astrology and mathematic and combine that with necromancy based medicine and molecular biology. That is very interesting concept of their total transformation. Just really curious if it true and others have same view?

Alpha Legion or Tau Empire for human traitors?

Just curious if you have same opinion as me about Alpha Legion relationship with mortal imperial citizens and traitors.

If for example you are corrupt and brutal general-governor of very far isolated imperial planet with industry and fabrics and you dislike your own Imperium government because you dont want to pay Imperial Tithe and you want to be full independent from Administratum then who you will join to be protected and in the same time free?

I think personally that im this galaxy only some warbands of Alpha Legion can guarantee independence and full respect of human population in exchange of raw materials or important industrial goods. Yes they are Chaos Space Marines but only sons of Alpharius understand very well human mortal psychology and how to manipulate them for their plans.

Modern 40K Alpha Legion and their relationship with mortals

Just curious if you have same opinion as me about Alpha Legion relationship with mortal imperial citizens and traitors.

Secondly I think Tau Empire is also not bad choice. So Alpha Legion or Tau Empire and why?

I am Alpharius

I am Alpharius and my first campaign will be as Space Marines of the Alpha Legion.

Maybe who want also try to roleplay their first campaign as 20th Legion what you should do in customisation:

Your faction leader should be named Alpharius. His face and all Space Marines of your squads must have been bald same as Agent 47 from Hitman.

Power Armor: Blue-green with if possible Hydra/Dragon/Reptile logo if it would be possible.

How would I play it?

Well you help Astra Militarum and then eliminate them. You fight against Imperium but in the same time try to use diplomacy. If it possible always tell Astra Militarum General before kill him that Emperor protects.

Just curious guys how you would play Space Marines campaign? What is your idea and your Chapter? How would you roleplay?

Iron Within. Iron Without.

I plan to roleplay as Iron Warriors Space Marines with customisation because Chaos Marines will unfortunately not be at the start. Do you think Space Marines will have also unique doctrine to use? For example I want to use siege warfare and industrial power. I want rule the planets in the Imperium and attack Imperial Guard and other loyalist.

Well just really curious how different and how strong would CA give us possibility to roleplay as Chaos Marines or as Dark Eldar before they get their standalone factions?

Night Lords and psychological warfare

Just curious how good do Night Lords from lore point of view understand human mortal psychology? I want to try to wrtie sci-fiction story about my custom warband of Night Lords and really need help because my inspiration is Batman/Predator style warband who use fear as manipulation to make some sort of Empire of Eternal Night something similar as ancient Nostramo from Curze timeline.

Iron Warriors and their supply lines in 40k

Well we all know that primary strategic unit remain to be the Grand Company with Warsmith as military high leader and with different captains/champions as second-in-command.

What about Iron Warriors supply lines structures in modern Lore timeline? Do we have any information how this complex military management to transport fuel, weapons, and mortal troops to the front line work for Iron Warriors?

Medrengard is the central base of all logistics but from Siege of Castellax book it is determined that support with different materials goes not only from Medrengard but also to the Medrengard itself.

In the Great Crusade timeline Iron Warriors have been supported from Terra and Imperium. I am just really curious how different it now can be?

Lords of the Silence Sequel by Chris Wraight

Next year Black Library will reprint german edition of Lords of the Silence and I am very curius how could this desicion be analysed to predict possible future sequel of one of the best Black Library sci-fiction book about Death Guard. The only one standalone book that we have about sons of Mortarion in modern timeline.

Do you think the reprint policy from Black Library can be indicated that we get sequel about Vorx and his warband?

I Just really dream but I hope that Chris Wraight write about Death Guard vs Tyranid invasion. Full body horror biological dirty warfare where Vorx speak about Tyranid race and his life after Sabatine.

Alpha Legion Chaos Marines and psychological warfare in modern 40K

I am Alpharius.

Long Alpha Legion fan from 2008 after reading Legion and then all novels where they was represent as main or side characters. Plus ofcourse all Chaos Space Marines codex and ancient Index Astartes lore from 2004.

I want to ask community their opinion about I think very interesting and important aspect of Alpha Legion: Psychological warfare in 40K timeline.

Do you think modern Alpha Legionnaires use psychological warfare and manipulation to influence mortals only to survive deep alone in Imperium without central supply lines or they maybe can have some noble goal to lead Humanity?

Why Alpha Legion from old lore to the new lore have always this kind of most non-chaotic point as the most reasonable Chaos Space Marines?

Emperor's Children Apothecaries in 40K

After reading Fabius Bile Trilogy, Lucius the Faultless Blade, Lord of Excess and the last Perfect Son book I've noticed that there's a fixed association with Apothecaries and Emperor's Children. In each book about Third Legion in modern timeline of lore you have always former Apothecaries as side or main characters. I think it is not only coincidence but also true strong connection to the philosophy of the Legion. From Horus Heresy books we know that because of Emperor's Children gene-seed crisis early on the sons of Fulgrim had the biggest Apothecation and Fabius Bile was one of them.

Why do you think this connection from lore point of view between Emperor's Children and their Apothecation are always in presense also in modern 40K timeline books? Is it because of possible obsession with body perfection?

I think well my personally opinion is that one of Emperor's Children aspect from Great Crusade timeline that is also live now is perfection of body. Obsession to be handsome and beutiful in the same time hedonistic and depraved.

I think and I hope also that in some future we get for Emperor's Children unique Slaaneshi Apothecary unit for tabletop because of that lore.

Diplomacy between Imperium and Chaos factions

Well we all know that at the start of Warhammer 3 all Chaos deamonic factions without Slaanesh was always at war non stop with mortal races. In the end it was not so good idea because of balance of power and after that CA change that with big diplomatic penalty between them.

By the way it was at start very lore friendly but again not good functional. What do you think will CA make for W40K diplomacy system how could be diplomacy between Chaos and Imperium work?

For example we have Chaos sub-faction who can be more diplomatic then others. The Emperor's Children Legion is Slaanesh monogod Chaos Space Marines who can be from lore point handsome and pretty as Sigvald but total hedonistic evil. How they will make diplomacy with Imperial Guard factions? Seduce them to pleasure or something simillar could work.

Just really curious about that aspect of the game and your opinion.
