I have a flair for the 1950s, however i have not been blessed with the hourglass shape

I have tried a corset, (namely the libby off timeless trends) however my issue is i am in a gap in the market, I'm too curvy for the slim designs and so they would do nothing for me in terms of reduction, but I'm not curvy enough for the libby which is rather unique in its proportions (+ the turn to my ilyac crest isnt sharp enough so my left hip goes numb if i try to wear it with a small gap so i have a ridiculous amount of flair at the ribs and hips)

Now I'm looking into merry widows, which ive heard were designed to "cinch" + im presuming in terms of size they are a little more flexible, ive in an ad ive seen ive heard people have gotten 2-3 inches off but wanted to ask on peoples experiences

Not to mention, how on earth are you soposed to wash them, is it a handwash/handwash machine situation, do you wear somthing underneath like with corsets or what

My thing is in the title, i work in a hairdressers and im training to become a hairdresser so my hands are constantly exposed to water, i have been using the rimmel nail nurse 7 in 1 (base and top coat, ridgefiller hardening, colour protection ect), but ive recently heard that combined base and top coats arnt the best in terms of longevity,

Im english i wont have access to us centric polishes

As of im looking at the rimmel hardening base (also in their nail nurse range) and the top coats in their super Gel line (the idea is its a traditional polish that lasts like a gel), ive tried a colour coat gel effect colour polish (it said concrete hard wearing but im fairly sure its the same) which lasted EXTREMELY well

before but not the top coats and the one i have i dont have it in a colour i want

For context i have nearly pin straight hair naturally (maybe a slight wave or a curl that's simply undefined) my issue isn't that i can't achieve the perfect pageboy i want but rather although the top stays mostly how i want it (my fringe kinda falls but its way better than naturally) the ends on the sides drop out due to the super high humidity here where the back of my hair stays how i want

i use a setting gel, the smallest rollers i own, hair pomade a setting gel, a LOT of hairspray but the sides of my hair still drop out

My only idea i have left is to get a perm but i don't really have the time to have dodgey hair for those first 2 days since i kind of need to look put together for my trade

Ive just started my level 2 yesterday and today i washed and straightened somone else on my courses hair, but it didnt turn out ultra sleek (it instead had quite a stiff quality to it) even after blowdrying it straight beforehand and running a comb in front of the iron like ive seen a lot online

granted i didnt use any blowdrying products and the persons hair had a lot of curl and the hair was heavily bleach damaged as they had been bleaching it for around 10 years at this point, naturally my hair is pin straight so ive never really learnt to achieve that because my hair just does it if i use a flat iron at all

My guess is that its the lack of product as well as the damage is the cause, but i wanted to ask if anyone has any tips for me

Ive just bought the Studio London matte one to try, im wanting somthing thats just gonna keep my face in place as long as possible without feeling and acting like a hairspray otherwise i would just use my can of Elnett + ive found it doesnt powder very well when i want to touch up so i just wind up weirdly shiny

im wanting somthing matte and wanted to see some of the ones others would suggest (do bare in mind i am BROKE so i need somthing quite affordable)

Ive always prefered to look of pin curls to rollers but I'm struggling to keep the ends tucked in, for reference my hair is thick but pin straight so it tends to be more awkward to curl

Does anyone have any tips for me (preferably without using some kind of extra tool)

My natural waist is 31 inches and i have a libby in a size 24, i am able to lace down to a 1 inch gap fairly comfortably throughout most of the corset (with a 1 inch gap the corset should soposedly perfectly match my messurements)

however when i try to make the hips of the corset flush to my own and only then my left hip goes numb and im physically unable to make it flush (the numbness goes away almost immediately after loosening) my guess is that the turn towards my ilyac crest isnt sharp enough or a bone is pressing in a weird spot,

Does anyone have suggestions on alterations if its possible to alter

I have just purchased the Libby silhouette from timeless trends and i was wondering roughly how long i would need to wait before properly cinching,

i understand it takes different amounts based on the individual wearer and corset but i was wondering if there was a more specific estimate of the number of hours i would need to season it for before i could actually wear it

I see a fair few things online talking about that fantasy, but the thing is, straight incest gets a LOT more flack but ultimately if both parties are using birth control what is the difference

Like is this some kind of fucked up fantasy that doesnt actually happen all that often irl orrr...
