What people really want?

I am sorry for my English, it's not my mother toung.

I heard a saying, be careful what you want it actually can happen to you and you are going to be disappointed by that.

I also heard, in life what you said you don't want to do or you are sure that you are never going to do that. Someday that thing will hapend and it will be surprisingly good, amazing or wonderful.

There days on social media I hear a stories like: a lot successful people are unsatisfied with what they have accomplished. They achieve things, because achieve big goals is going to make them happy.Lots of people work without a feeling satisfied or calm. It is either for families to survive or they don't think and work all day every day to accomplish something, or better say don't listen to themselves.

Kids sometimes study something just because their parents want that.

What you really want?

What you don't want?

What happened to you, that you thought it is never going to happened?

Have you forced a friendship and later regret it?

Am I a right person to be a psychotherapist?

Hi everyone!!

I am in college. First year of mechanical engineering. It's not that bad. It's a great feal with lots of jobs and opportunities.

I am not studying as much as I should. That is killing me, I feel so guilty, because it's questionable am I be able to enrol in next academic year. I am not studying with full attention and curiosity, because I have thoughts that I want to safe and help people and become a psychotherapist. I want to study psychology and later some therapy school. I really enjoy reading about all therapy school on the internet.

I think I am a sensitive person and I believe at some point I am naive.

I am questioning: is this the good path for me?

I also have a question: what characteristics a psychotherapist should have?

What are your thoughts?

Kako prestati sa ovim mislilma?

Zdravo! Moram da podelim ovo sa vama.

Upoznala sam momka ( on 24 ja 20) pre tri meseca.

Gubljenje vremena i oduzimanje para.

Idem sad na more nedelju dana. Grize me savest naravno, ali pokupaću da uživam. Kad se vratim čeka me pakao.

Ako imate nešto da podelite, ja sam spremna da slušam.

How to stop thinking about someone?

Hello everyone, I am 20 years old and I figured it out I need to have one obsession or better say obsessive thoughts for weeks or even months. I used to malodaptive daydream for last couple of years. I detached from myself, what I needs, what I want, what I like. It's very hard in uni, I am studying mechanical engineering and I am trying not to give up every single day. I don't like being in big groups of people. I am quite person and likes to analyse and deep talk.

Sorry for long introduction. I want you to make a better picture of me.

I am usually obsessed with a TV show. I created my identity around it.

I generally realise I am insecure, confused, not interested in critical thinking, just want to do what others tells me to do.

So.... before two months ago I meet one guy, he's 24 and studying medicine. When I saw him I thought " He is so good looking." In May we were seeing eachother every Tuesday and Thursday evening. It was a long talks, we started knowing each other, he's a very good listener, he ask really good questions, we can talk about anything he is smart and very well read.

I really like him. Unfortunately the last time we saw each other he told me he have a BPD\\\* ( Borderline personality disorder). I couldn't even imagine something like that. He's so nice to me. And also he told me he doesn't live in the same city. Few days after he left home.

This whole Jun we were texting. I am the one who started conversation. Sometimes he could reply in a few minutes sometimes in a few hours, but he likes to talk.

This whole time I was reaching what BPD is and I feel really sorry for that people. I was thinking about him and what's his story and sometimes got worried when he doesn't reply for a long time.

At the same time, as I said I reallyyyy enjoyed our conversation in person, I also was thinking how I "talk to him".

Now the problem that thinking stoles my big part of the day and I don't how to stop it once for all. It's better, but I just want to stop having conversations in my mind.

The other problem is we are going to see each other today, I am excited, but I have no idea what to talk to him now 💀. I was studying this morning and now I have some classes, so my mind is occupied, but I feel so stupid how I could think about someone so much. We barely know eachother.

\\\*He is going to therapy and he takes this problem seriously.
