My very first rep pickup!

I’m a total newbie to collecting reps, this is my very first bag ever! Got it recommended by a close friend who’s been in the hobby for years.

I fell in love with this warm peach nude shade instantly, love the lambskin texture and top handle design.

Could fellow members drop your honest QC thoughts? Let me know your opinions on stitching, leather, hardware and overall shape, all tips will be super helpful for my future buys!

Chanel PSP Mini Bucket Bag from Mia (187 Factory)

- Item: Chanel PSP Mini Bucket Bag, Black Caviar Leather, Light Gold Hardware

- Seller: Mia

- Price: $429

- Factory: 187 Factory

Things to check:

1. Caviar leather and quilting: Ensure the grain is even and clear, the diamond quilting is full, and stitching is neat with no distortion, collapse or excess glue.

2. Light gold hardware: Verify the CC logo has correct proportion and smooth edges. The hardware should have a natural vintage light gold finish, not overly bright, yellow or uneven plating.

3. Leather-wrapped chain: Check the leather wrap is tight and smooth without wrinkles. The weight and texture should match the standard of 187 Factory.

4. Drawstring and overall shape: Drawstring holes are well-aligned and works smoothly. Side pockets keep good shape without sagging, and the whole bag is in correct mini size proportion.

My thoughts:

The leather and hardware look great overall. The caviar grain and gold tone feel natural. I still have doubts about the quilting fullness and chain details. Could you guys help me check if this 187 version is worth $429? Please let me know if there are any issues I need to ask the seller to fix. Thanks a lot! 🙏

QC help: Chanel bag for mom’s birthday

Hi everyone! My mom’s birthday is almost here, and she’s been wanting this Chanel bag forever. I know nothing about checking reps, so I’m really hoping this seller is good. Here are the pics they sent me. If it’s a clear fake, I won’t go through with it. Could you guys help me decide? 🙏

Full review of my go-to Chanel-inspired piece

First off... wow. The craftsmanship on this bag is absolutely next-level. Unpacking it really felt like the full luxury experience I’d get from the official boutique. The color, the graining, and every single stitch are perfectly executed. I counted exactly 10 stitches per diamond shape, just like the authentic one.

I’ve personally never owned a Chanel Classic Flap before, but my cousin has a lambskin version, and I have to say the gold hardware matches flawlessly, in my opinion. The only tiny detail that might hint this isn’t authentic is that it doesn’t have the “EP” stamp on the inner zipper. That said, I’m not even sure if newer authentic versions still include that mark, so it’s barely noticeable.

The leather and caviar graining are spot-on. The diamond stitching has the perfect amount of puffiness, and the diamonds align seamlessly when I close the bag. The stamping is crisp and well-done too. I even noticed the side CC logos lean slightly forward, just like the real ones do—this one nailed that detail too.

I’m still new to high-quality reps, but I’ve learned so much from the Reddit communities I joined last year about what to look for in a Chanel rep. Based on this experience, I would 100% order from the same seller again. I honestly don’t think I’ll ever feel the need to buy the authentic version when I can get something this identical.

The whole process took just over a month, which I think is totally reasonable. I’d rate this bag a solid 10/10. Hope this helps anyone on the fence!
