i’m talking mago gfriend, 갑자기 ioi, racecar izna, rebel heart ive. basically the songs that have this dreamy, late night and it starts raining and you’re remembering a beautiful memory of your life, that kind of vibe?

i LOVE unchild, i binge watched literally all their content on youtube and berriz and I love them so much. my first biases were Heekie and Tina but now I’m OT6 because I literally love them so much and can’t pick a bias to save my life. I genuinely want to start collecting their albums and merch when they’ll have their first album in the second half of 2026, since they’ll be the first group I’ll be buying the merch of. But Heekie is on a health hiatus and won’t be participating in the album and I’m kind of so scared of her l-wording the group. I have more optimistic thoughts on Unchild because they’re a part of High Up (same agency as Stayc, which remained a six membered group from debut until now) and I really don’t want to jinx it.

For some reason when I love a group that debuted with a certain line-up, if any of members leave, it just doesn’t feel the same again, even if I still stan and support the group. I hope this won’t happen with Unchild. Any other Chachas that miss Seoyeong and are having the same fear in their mind?

what are k-pop groups you had stopped stanning in the past for whatever reason but now are thinking of stanning them again?

for me:

1. Billlie: they hadn’t released any new (Korean) album/ep so I’d stopped stanning them, and got back jnto them after they released ZAP and WORK.

2. CLASSy: the group that made me make this post. they’d been gone for almost two and a half years too, so I’d lost interest, but now they’re releasing their 4th mini album RE:BOOT (26/06/23 6 PM KST)

3. everglow: Their last comeback had been in 2024 with Zombie and no new music in 2025 so I’d been losing interest. As sad as it is, I’ve now accepted that Everglow will continue as a four membered group, and I did listen to CODE, although I like their previous music much more, especially the title tracks. this is a bittersweet thing because as much as I’d want all six girlies together, Yeuhua was 💩💥 didn’t even pay them smh

i recently found out, another girl group named “secret” used to exist, and they debuted in 2009 and are planning on coming back june 18 2026, and they had a member called sunhwa who had beef with member hana (now Zinger)

There was a real physical fight between two members named Woohyun and Youngwon. Youngwon punched Woohyun, resulting in cuts to his lip and a fractured ankle. Woohyun's mother even spoke out publicly about the assault, causing a scandal in a group called Kpopulation

D.I.P.’s members seungho and b’nish came out as gay and said they were in a relationship (not beef but still)

I recently started stanning this group called Unchild which just debuted on april 21 in High Up entertainment (STAYC’s company) and almost every single performance of theirs of their track Unchild is live on music shows. yes, since the very first music show of theirs as rookies. their choreography (which members participated in making) is so energetic, yet all members sang almost everything in their parts live. such talent as rookies? respect.

Stream itzy’s motto. today was their second music show and oh my god, they’re singing live despite dancing to their choreography which, I think we all know itzy’s choreographies are difficult. all the members sang almost everything, and yeji’s high note at the end had me shookt her vocals are heavenly. Chaery too

Stream nmixx’s heavy serenade. I recently watched their music shows too, even the encores, and they are also singing live on their music shows while performing the choreography (nmixx’s choreographies aren’t exactly a piece of cake either). Their encore especially, sounds absolutely flawless. They sound EXACTLY like the studio version

also watched billlie’s Work (260522) kbs world tv, and they’re singing live stably too, along with such synchronised choreography for their song. it’s obvious the girlies are singing their parts live, I’m sure it isn’t prerecorded or anything

I watched almost all music shows of illit’s It’s Me and they all sing live in a lot of their parts, almost all, despite the jumpy choreography. Hell they even sang live in incheon university performances

my absolute ult group, IVE had their comebacks in February with bang bang and blackhole, and while they’re absolutely good at singing live, and they’ve proven it several times (lollapalooza, year end award shows, concerts, music shows, etc) I was a little disappointed the live singing was so less, because the backtrack was too loud. I think I only heard Liz and Yujin truly singing almost all their parts and SOMETIMES rei. I think IVE can do better, especially after seeing the effort these other groups put in. Same case in their concert too, the backtrack is often too loud, especially during bang bang. All their solo stages are lip synced too. I’m so disappointed and slightly angry, considering how much they’d sung live back in rebel heart/attitude/otr/i am eras

I love IVE and this isn’t a hate post, please no “oh nothing new, IVE’s always lip syncing, talentless blah blah” type of comments? I really love IVE and all the members equally, and I‘m 100% confident in their skills, but I don’t think they’re giving their best these days. I’ve seen bang bang encores that are live, and they all sound stable so you can’t say it’s because their vocals regressed or something. I wish they sing more… especially Gaeul, Rei, Leeseo, Wonyoung.

the way SOME women might be grossed out by, say a man having a kink for feet, on the flip side, what is your opinion if a girl was into your hands? do you think it‘s weird? unusual?

personally, there are some groups in which I just CAN’T pick a bias. for me these are:

Itzy (my bias: OT5) (stream motto btw) my first bias was Yeji, and then it became Yeji and Yuna, then it became Yeji, Yuna, and Ryujin, then it became OT5, but then I lwk forced myself to pick a bias, so it became Yuna, and now I’ve accepted fate. it’s impossible to pick one. so my current bias is OT5

IVE (my bias: OT6) when I started stanning them during eleven era, Wonyoung first caught my eye and quickly became my bias. it became Yujin during love dive era, thanks to her dance break, and then it became Gaeul in after like era. Ever since kitsch though, I’ve been an OT6, and it is not changing. If I must pick bias wrecker, it’d be Yujin/Liz because of the fact that they always make an effort to sing live, but at heart, I’ll always be OT6

BABYMONSTER (my bias: OT7) during pre-debut era, it was Ahyeon bc of her dangerously cover and after sheesh era, it stayed Ahyeon. then during like that era, it became Rami and Ahyeon, and then during forever and drip era it was OT7, but I kinda gaslighted myself into believing my bias was Chiquita and Rora, but now I finally admit it‘s OT7 (ps: I miss rami)

UNCHILD: they just debuted and I watched fancams of all members (they all sing live btw, WITH their energetic choreography) and I immediately picked Heekie & Tina. but after watching their content I leaned more Heekie & Ako and a little bit towards Haeun and Evon. Watching some more performances now, I’m also obsessed with Yeeun’s voice so I’m convinced I’m OT6. But I’m kinda skeptical bc they JUST debuted, so do I really love all of them equally? Will see after their first cb but as of now, I’m OT6

Meovv: Sooin first caught my eye during their debut era, and when I watched all their fancams, I wanted to be OT5 immediately. but i picked Gawon as my first bias. It changed to Ella and Narin during burning up era, and then it became Ella. But after seeing their BITE NOW teasers and concept films, I’m leaning OT5. As of now, I don’t have a bias. HOW IS THEIR STAGE PRESENCE THIS GOOD?!!! 😭😭😭🛐🛐🔥

I feel like I’m the only one who has this stupid belief, does anyone else?

for some reason, I can’t let myself bias all members of a group that isn’t my ult group (even if I like all the members the same). idk why but since my ult is IVE, I kinda have this belief or whatever that i can only be OT6 in IVE, not any other group. there was a point I biased all members of itzy, and a time I biased all members of stayc, same with illit and billlie, but I kinda forced myself to pick a bias in these groups (yuna & yoon and sieun & yunah & siyoon and haram are my biases in these groups now, respectively, btw) because I thought I was being ”disloyal” or something like that to IVE by being OT(number of members) stan in another group.

it’s stupid af, ik, but has anyone ever felt this way too? A similar situation is happening with a group I recently started stanning— UNCHILD. And I kinda lean towards ako and heekie maybe, but really tho, I just wanna be OT6

so I recently visited Hong Kong (and Macau) and it is the most beautiful place I’ve seen so far imo.

I brought back not just beautiful memories, but dreams too. I dream of working in one of those skyscrapers in a banks like Goldman Sachs/JP Morgan/Morgan Stanley/UBS/HSBC/DBS, or even in any of the IT companies (?)

I think after getting an engineering degree from my country, if I get an MBA (major Finance) from a business school like Wharton University of Pennsylvania or Harvard Business School, or Stanford University, I would apply for jobs in companies at Hong Kong?

I haven’t discussed this with anyone really, so my dreams just sound a bit ridiculous in my mind right now; I need someone to give me a reality check? but I think I’d want to live and work in Hong Kong long term.

meanwhile I am aware of how small houses can be in Hong Kong compared to what I’m used to, am aware of 14 hour work routine six days a week, am aware that Hong Kong is an expensive place to live in, am aware of the “typhoon season” in Hong Kong. I’m considering the cons too.
