Spellcasters that have worked - have you gotten any symptoms / signs that it’s working

I recently purchased a spell to help me get a house - shortly after purchasing I have received a chill/weird sensation in my body - I was wondering if I’m just over thinking it or is this a sign that the cast has begun?

Mirtazapine side effects?

I recently changed from citalopram 10mg (was on 20 then 15 etc) to Mirtazapine 15mg. I took my 3rd dose tonight - I took it maybe half an hour ago. I was wondering if the side effects are immediate or do they take a while to come? I am extremely sensitive to meds changes - I felt it all when going on, going up or going down in citalopram - panic attacks, anxiety attacks, (VERY) emotional, racing thoughts etc but I haven’t really noticed anything different since starting Mirtazipine - I am getting heart flutters/palpitations but I know that’s from citalopram withdrawal as if I forgot to take a dose or it was after my usual dosage time I got them. I’ve also noticed myself being a lot more irritable/angrier at things, but again I feel like that could be the withdrawal? I haven’t noticed any unusual hunger/inability to get full, or any emotional mood swings, not even a bit of anxiety … can anyone else tell me about their first experience taking Mirtazipine as it genuinely feels like a placebo tablet. Now, I’m not complaining about the lack of side effects at all, I’m just concerned they’re going to all happen at once since I’ve gotten absolutely 0 yet and due to my sensitivity to citalopram.

Celexa to Mirtazipine

Hello. I’ve been taking Celexa since October 2025 - started on 10mg and increased to 20mg in November until March 26 where I went down to 15mg and last Wednesday went down to 10mg. I got a new medication (Mirtazipine) that I started yesterday so I’m 2 days post Celexa. I’ve been getting the weird heart flutters/palpitations that you feel in your entire body if you miss your dosage time of Celexa quite a lot today - I done a straight switch from Celexa to Mirtazipine as per my doctor.

Is this just withdrawal symptoms? I seem to be more irritated/short fused today and was wondering if that was the withdrawal to Celexa? Or just the start of Mirtazipine. I haven’t went through a withdrawal to Celexa in a very long time so I am unaware of the symptoms.

Psychotherapy group help - I am a patient

I am in a psychotherapy group with below 5 members (going to keep this as vague as possible for confidentiality reasons). I have only quite recently joined in the past few months and the sessions have been ‘scattered’ not intentionally but just due to holidays etc. I recently had a session which left me quite unhappy, goes with psychotherapy I guess. The clinician and other members informed me that I am ‘unstable’ and that I shouldn’t be changing my medication while still so new to this group and other life factors going on. I was told I should have brought it to them for discussion before doing anything. I mentioned it to my doctor a few months ago and they told me to taper down and go back to them in a few weeks. I was afraid of tapering down due to my sensitivity to medication so I put it off for a while until I knew I was ready and I decided that I was finally going to do it because I didn’t like the side effects anymore and I want to try a different med. After I was told that I shouldn’t have done that, I should go back up to my original dosage and become ‘stable’ quite frankly, I think I was just having a bad morning that session and I’m more stable than they think I am. I have a lot of life stressors going on recently and given them, I’d say a person not already suffering with mental health difficulties would be in need of help honestly, so while I am already struggling with mine - it’s a given. The thing is, I told them that if I want to taper my meds down I’ll do it without ‘consulting them’ because I do what I want. Now *that* you can probably psychoanalyse to childhood trauma and I do agree, I have issues with getting my free will/choice being taken away and that will be discussed. However, I still don’t think I should have to ‘bring it to group’ before doing things like that, because again - I have my own free will. Another member got told off recently as well for doing something and not bringing it to group first - I’ll not go into details for confidentiality. I actually got so angry at my last session I wanted to walk out, and thinking of it now I probably would’ve done it out of spite to prove ‘my own free will’. Now I get that I’m in this group for a reason, however I am NOT vibing with it. Changing is also not an option, there are actually 0 other psychotherapists around me and that one is the only one, by around me I actually mean in my country (I’m in a small country) so changing psychotherapists is not on the cards at all.

To clarify - the reason I didn’t bring it to the group is because as above the sessions have been scattered and sometimes it’s just hard to get everything in when there’s a few members and only a set amount of time, other people need to have their say on their issues and sometimes immediate things for myself are more important than discussing the medication.

Side note: I think it’s quite ironic being called unstable when I have borderline, AKA Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder - it made me laugh.

Has anyone any experience with psychotherapy in a group setting?

Mirtazipine and relationships

I am switching from citalopram to Mirtazipine tonight so tonight will be my first dose. I’ve heard so many horror stories regarding this medication and especially around romantic feelings/relationships. I would like to hear positive stories about relationships on this medication please - citalopram has already dulled my emotions to the point I don’t care about anything anymore, I was hoping for some positive stories please?? No negatives esp regarding relationships, if it’s not positive please leave it out :)

I just paid my first Etsy witch

Hello, I have been into magic for a really long time and in the past 6mths or so gotten more into it. Well today I paid my first Etsy witch for ‘getting approved for an apartment’ I fully believe this will work, so my intentions are pure. I wanted to know, has anyone felt a physical feeling as soon as they hit the pay button - like there was something physically lifted off my shoulders and I felt less heavy emotionally? Any experiences like this? Apologies if this is the wrong subreddit to be asking this in.

I only paid the witch 15 minutes ago so I have no good/nor bad review to leave for this witch - thesacredcandle on Etsy - but I will update as soon as I do 🫶

House/apartment spell?

Hello. I recently moved back in with my parents and I was looking a spell to help me get my own place. I’m on the waiting list for a few but wanted to know if there’s a way this can be sped up with a spell? I don’t want any negative consequences to this spell and only positive obviously. Any help is greatly appreciated 🫶

Anxiety spell

Hello, I’m in need of an anxiety spell - I have been suffering from severe anxiety for the past year and I need to get rid of it. I’ve looked at previous posts and they talk about meditation, herbal tea etc but is there any spells that could burn a candle to banish the anxiety or anything like that? An anxiety jar that works? Any suggestions welcome - I’ve been on anxiety meds and seeing a professional therapist too.

So I started getting into witchcraft maybe about a month ago. Not long, but I have a question. The weekend that I got into witchcraft I done my first spell - a honey jar for me and my partner. I recently done another honey jar spell as well as 2x protection jars during the full moon (last Friday 1st May). I noticed during the ritual that 3/4 of the heart candles had went out but I wasn’t sure if it was at the start or during it but I didnt personally see them go out I only noticed.

In my house I live with my partner and our friend. For context, we’ve always thought our house was a little bit haunted, when we first moved in we each heard each other either saying our names to one another and my friend even seen what he thought was me walking into a room but I was outside at the time.

Nothing big has happened since until last Tuesday - my friend was downstairs and seen a dark figure walking up the stairs, he immediately came into our bedroom and asked if we had left the room and we said no - he couldn’t believe what he just saw. On Saturday just gone by they were both in our bedroom and my partner saw at the corner of her eye a dark figure rising from a crouched down pose into a standing pose. She looked away and looked back and it was gone. Yesterday I came home from work and was downstairs talking to my partner who was upstairs, we finished the conversation and I thought she had said something else and yelled ‘huh?’ As I wasn’t sure what was said - she immediately told me to come upstairs because she heard it too and told me it wasn’t her. My partner and our friend are the only ones who have ‘seen’ something, I haven’t seen anything just heard. About 2 weeks ago I had an extreme bad nightmare of me waking up where I was sleeping and a ‘demon’ was not letting me get back to sleep, and it was so real like that when I woke up I genuinely had to pinch myself to ensure I wasn’t still dreaming - it was super super scary, I never ever have dreams like that.

I was wondering if it was any possibility of it to do with me doing witchcraft of some kind, well the recent ones anyway. I’m just curious to see - I’m definitely going to be sageing the house - and myself - but I’m just worried I have attracted some kind of evil spirit… any advice/thoughts welcome - if you think I’m just being dramatic please tell me as well.

I was wondering about my chart, it doesn’t seem very ‘out there’. I’m wondering where I should go in my career, among other things that if you can pick them out please tell me about them :)
