I picked up Maeva from the pound yesterday and its been so far ok. She still throws plasma balls at me but also let's me pet her especially after she feeds. She is slowly becoming comfortable around my family too. The problem is that late at night she sneaks up and instead of throwing plasma balls keeps biting me. How can I get her to stop? She has plenty of food available at night. I really think its her way of getting attention.
The CDS one day brought this lovely creature into my families life. She slowly became comfortable after about 6 months to become a porch cat but did not want to be petted. 6 months later she was comfortable with that and about 6 months after that was seeking out affection but did not want to come inside. 2 years later she came inside when it was cold or rainy but even in winter demanded to go out at least 6 hours a day. For a semi feral cat she was a cuddle bug at night and howling to go outside during the day. She spent her last 5 years before leukemia took her from me this way. For a feral cat don't give up. She ignored all toys and for reasons I don't understand we t inside to use the litter box and then immediately headed back outside. I never thought I had mice in my house until she put them on my pillow. Thankfully her kill rate went down quite a bit once I was feeding her and she preferred to simply lounge on my deck and harass my neighbors dog

During ww2 german commanders, and the chief engineer often were present in working up their boat to learn the individual kinks of it. They were occasionally relieved but would it be better if the focus was in making each member of a class more identical so you could transfer crew from one to another more seamlessly? An analogy would be Japanese carrier air crews married to a boat versus American squadron that were more transferable.
