Second Ave subway using extra Nassau Street line tracks?

The Second Ave Subway should connect with Delancey Street - Essex Street with its own station underneath and then curve left to use the extra tracks at Bowery, Canal, Chambers, and then finally branch off 2 stations on its own after Chambers. Would this not be possible and save costs tunneling in lower Manhattan and provide better transfers? Credit to vanshnookenraggen for the map.

The MTA will utilize the funds it receives from the lease to make the Nassau Avenue G train station ADA-accessible

ANOTHER ONE, thank you! Monitor Point will fund the Nassau Street G train station accessibility. What a win.

What spots do you recommend?

Boyfriend and I are moving in together and wanted to know top spots for food, ranging from fancy to take out. Bars, things in the park, grocery, markets to checkout, things to do, things to avoid, etc. Will be living off of Franklin Ave. I’m originally from Queens and have lived in Manhattan, gone to high school in the Bronx and college in Downtown Brooklyn so very familiar with NYC overall :)

Morris Adjmi's Soho tower could rise to 21 stories in exchange for Canal Street subway upgrades

Another one, thank you! Unsure if the entire Canal Street NQRW station would be accessible as the NQ and RW run on different platforms here but still such a cool project, hopefully get approved!

Would we see any rail upgrades for this Olympics?

The year is 2042, Penn Access, SAS 2, IBX, Midtown Bus terminal, Penn Station, Hudson River tunnel are all complete. What projects do you think would be needed for this Olympics? FYI there was a NYC to Lake Placid rail connection but upstate dismantled their portion. Any NYC projects that you think might be getting complete? Penn Access phase 2?

Progress Update on 31st street!

Somehow ended up on this tiktok that has an update on the 31st bike lanes. So much ignorance in the comments. Also why does it matter that this is a truck route?

Travel and Open minds change lives

My hot take is that people do not travel and see what is outside the realm of their life and due to this do not realize bike lanes, bus lanes, etc are better for a city. So many developed or developing countries have figured this out and if we see what they’ve done then we could realize we can apply it here too.

OR

They have travelled and realize there are differences but are unwilling to deal with changes that will change their life but make life better in the long run.

I’ve gone travelled a lot and Paris amazes me at what they’ve done and how built out their bike network is. I’ve also gone to India multiple times and everytime there’s something new. In like 10 years time they have a functioning BRT, new metro, and a HSR under construction.
Farmers took the money the HSR gave them and were so happy they are getting HSR. The entire city is so excited for all these changes.

We are capable of change.

Lack of Downtowns

It feels like Long Island lacks downtowns, there are some but not many historic ones? or am I wrong? Also why doesn’t Jones Beach have a downtown? If you don’t bring food, you’re SOOL.

LIRR Grade Crossing

Why don't they remove the Little Neck LIRR grade crossing? Only one left in Queens and as someone who uses the station, it's pretty busy.

Controversial IBX Opinion

I hope the IBX is so popular that Jackson Heights gets overwhelmed and they have to build a new subway expansion. I hope it’s so popular that the Flatbush Ave station Brooklyn College gets so busy they have to build the Utica Ave subway line. That’s all :)
