in episode 60 scientist cuts astro detainers 1.0 arm off with his claw. (or sword that he never used after)

and made it fall to the ground but. not only does it not show up in the next shot its never mentioned again which i find odd, considering how op the detainer claws are even if that one was likely weaker. Its not even in episode 70 in which we see many alliances weapons or souvenier such as titan cameras 1.0 hand or titan speakers og blaster.

But in skibidi toilet soundwave version you actually can see the detainer arm on the ground next to scientist. And considering how soundwave gives one off toilets more time to shine and not get wasted i do believe that 1.0 detainer arm will be a part of one of the toilets upgrade.

Allright. Time to talk about some missconceptions about boroses strength soo, let's get this started.

Debunks:

1: "boros is only surface wiping because of the manga/web comic statement". there are multiple ways to debunk this. First the statement does not put a limit on the attack on states boros intention.

second of all boros in every later material is stated planet or star level.

and third of all. The whole surface statement is heavily outdated because characers lesser than orochi are already multi continental or higher which he straight up upscales from. for reasons stated above but i will deep dive more into it.

also before anybody says the anime is not valid. One states that he retcons and changes things that people and he himself didin't like in the manga. Soo he changed the attack from surface wiping to planet wiping.

and yes ONE and MURATA supervised the anime and had control over what's showed and not. To the point murata wanted to remove the moon kick from the anime but One said that he should keep it. Opm season 1 is valid to use for boros unless you specifically only use manga boros in a debate.

2: "Boros is not even light speed" that's complete utter bullshit and you know that for a fact. are we gonna fucking argue boros is slower than awakend cockroach a demon level monster.

geryuganshoop rock throwing is stated by murata to be moving at %of speed of light with 0 air resistence and friction. which means they would be moving at around 75% the speed of light.

Which saitama sees as a bad joke and says that anybody can throw rocks. Meanwhile boros suprises saitama with his speed in mb and even before he can keep up with saitama.

The moon kick is also a dumb counter argument. the speed you launch something at is not the same as your movement. thragg punches omniman into space at massively hyper sonic speeds at best but he himself can fly at faster than light speeds.

and the moon kick is stated to be a special technique that makes the energy go inside the body of the one hit with it. Which was the main reason why saitamas clothes survived.

3: "Boros has worse crossverse feats than orochi and other high tiers soo that means he is below them"

crossverse calcs mean nothing in inverse matchups if the narrative and statements state that boros is above everyone who hasn't broke their limiter. and is also above tatsumaki which here you go for more proof

tatsumaki not being able to affect a pre limit break saitama who would be weaker than meteoric burst and maybe even released boros at the time.

And no tatsumaki getting stronger is pure head canon with 0 proof and the power boost she got would be nothing to what saitama got over this time. The only time you can argue tatsumaki trained is after the monster opm monster association arc.

4: "Boros fought a weaker version of saitama soo all the statements mean nothing"

This doesn't work for multiple reasons.

First of all the whole he gets one shot tier stronger every day is literally debunked by himself when he says the genocide simulatio is an unreliable data.

Saitama also says that he doesn't feel like he can get any stronger and he doesn't fell his strength growth. Soo his perspective of other's strength wise wouldn't change much if at all.

Also even tho saitama had his limiter broken for 1.5 years boros still makes him resort to using a serious move and affects him implying that saitamas passive growth isin't all that high while not pushed by anything both physically and emotionally.

5 "Saitama only called boros strong soo he wouldn't feel bad" he said he is strong to genos and in his own head that he is almost a real fight/more like a real fight. This argument is not worth even discussing.

Soo that's all the main counter arguments for boros debunked but now i will debunk boroses wank arguments .

1 "Boros dealt damage to saitama soo he downscales from his later feats" While i do think he affected him. Saitama taking damage makes no sense considering that meteoric burst did and especially the collapsing star roaring canon did no visible damage to him. its

its not like with cosmic garou in which he himself states that he did infact get scratched.

2 "Boros scales to base cosmic garou which makes him solar/multi solar" At best u can argue he scales to the very initial cosmic garou due to the parrel pannels but outside of that cosmic garou has way better statements narrative and showing against saitama.

The absolute most you can argue is that the collapsing star roraing canon would be comparable to the gamma ray burst and that's it.

3 "Boros forced saitama to use a serious move soo that means he scales to his full power !"

Now this might sound like i'm debunking my own argument but hear me out.

While you can argue he did force saitama to use a serious punch. How strong was that serious punch ? How much % of his power did saitama use. 1% 0.1% or maybe less or more. we have no clue. And again while saitama doesn't get stronger passively that much over the 2+ months he would still get somehwat of a power boost.

And saitamas serious punch squared was from a enraged full power saitama which likely amped him due to his emotions. Which again is way above anything boros has in terms of statements or anything. and him downscaling from it is nothing more than wank even tho star level boros is his realistic Cap to his power without using wank scales.

Soo that's pretty much all. I do have more scans and things to say potentially but i don't think they are all that important.

WEB COMIC: top 2 tied with monster garou and above him with csrc. crossverse scaling wise he is surface wiping and speed is hard to say

Manga: armored boros is above every cadre and comparable to orochi imo. released is arguably already above monster garou while meteoric burst is the 6th strongest character in the verse unless you count blast teamates one by one. And crossverse wise he would be multi continental/small planet with his armor. planet/large planet in released form. Deep large planet/low drarf star in meteoric burst. And small star level with collapsing star roaring canon. speed anywhere from ftl+ to mftl+

IN the anime he is top 2 pretty obviously and crossverse wise. base boros is just as strong as his manga version maybe somewhat stronger. released is large planetary already and deeper into it and meteoric burst in dwarf star level way more easily. and collapsing star roaring canon is full on star level. speed is the same as the manga.

1 It completely misses the point of garou's narrative that was already ruined by his monster form before hand due to him being showed as to „nice” and less antagonistic. and him being manipulated by god somewhat doesn't change much. Because its still clearly showed that he knows what he is doing at the moment. Which is really stupid considering what happends later in the fight and his reaction to tareos death
2 this fight is not that special. if they wanted to do an all out fight with a full power saitama this is not it. the fight had massively more potnential for what it could be. You have garou with the power to copy any phenomenon of the universe and copy abilities of every person he has ever faced or knows about (which is telling considering he read about the heroes beforehand) and the majority of the fight is him spamming portals and using serious punches with no martial arts outside of a single combo. He doesn’t combine his martial arts with saitama strength. He doesn’t reflect saitamas punches back at him not even one (at best he redirects ones trajectory. Which is very underwhelming for such a „high stake” fight
3 saitama develepment doesn't exist becuase of the time travel and he saying (your martial arts are cool) after the fact he killed everyone he cared about is actually not only cringe but also not deserved at all. You were literally making fun of his martial arts before. Also saitama being able to master martial arts and use time travel even tho his whole thing is that he is just strong physically (he literally says that flying is unrealistic for him) but time traveling marial arts are normal stuff totally.
4 this is one of the worst cases of time travel i have ever seen because it effectively killed of an entire timeline and doomed the original world (almost the entire s class is dead. Nobody will be able to stop god. And the planet is poisoned which only metal knight could do anything for. But knowing what happends later in the web comic that’s not gonna end well), and everything that happened in this fight doesn't matter because of said time travel. neither character got development and garou has no reason to give up on his goal. Saitama didin’t break his world view like in the web comic he didin’t learn jack shit but he still gets off free like nothing happened which is a horrible conclusion for this arc and his character up to that point.
5 Garou showing up next chapter like nothing happened is soo stupid. In the web comic we saw him in the waterfall before the ninja arc. And then we see him again while he is just a normal worker which shows that he changed. But in the manga he is just bangs student again and in the newest chapter he will most likely fight the monster instead of the neo heroes and will have a far less interesting fight with suiryu because compare to the web comic, he didin’t do jack shit to the s class during the surface fight (Even tho he almost killed everybody due to his passive radiation which still should have happened but plot hole i quess)
6 Because of cosmic garou monster garou was turned into a total joke during his fight with saitama. Saitama doesn’t take him seriously at all and toys with him while garou fails to do anything impressive and instead we get shitty gags with garou being a good guy and saving people on accident if it wasn’t already obvious enough that he is a good guy inside. But subtle story telling is too hard.
7 "one punch man" has to go all out against a guy who isin't even the stronger in the verse showing that god > saitama without expenentional growth. Even tho saitama was supposed to be a main character who starts at the peak of his strength but i quess that’s not the case anymore because he has to grow to beat garou. and saitama doesn't feel like a joke character. Sure he does some „gag feats” but he still feels like a shonen mc for most of this fight for most of it. You know the very thing one punch man tried to make fun off ?
8. the explanation of saitamas strength is boring. he is just metal bat with extra steps. and going from the verse being planetary to star at most to arguably universal and at least multi solar is not how powercreep should work. it also makes everything after it feel meaningless. and boros vs saitama doesn't count because that's the whole point of the fight to show that saitama is on a completely different level compare to everybody else. I mean are we supposed to be hyped up over the machine gods now after cosmic garou ? And empty void
9: garou gets god powers because this entire arc is about god now and garou can go fuck himself because he is a puppet now that isisn't even correct because he still thinks himself which makes it even worse tbh. and the buildup with monster garou is also not as good as the web comic. Due to garou realizing nearly instantly who saitama is and also being spooked by saitama (i’m gonna destroy the planet) line which was taken from an ealier moment in the web comic when he was about to go to the hideout.
10: showing god and blast this early is stupid and makes any mystery around them don't feel special at all because they are normal things now. and the ninja arc got nuked with 2 WHOLE ASS REDRAWS because of the god bullshit. And even after that its still worse than the web comic version because the ninjas were spared i quess. Because the stakes weren’t low enough and we can’t kill off pointless fodder but ket’s kill of atomic samurais master. Oh wait HE IS FUCKING ALIVE.
11: its like 3/4 chapters long. it then cuts out to garou fighting blast and killing all the heroes with radiation instead of doing anything himself like in the web comic by condicting "evil" and him killing genos has no impact because A genos would have survived anyway because his core has his memoreies. and B he is not a human. he is mostly a cyborg, if he killed bang that would show that he is evil. and web comic garou has many implications of him actually going to kill heroes at least to some extend. But even then web comic monster garou still had some humanity inside of him at this point. He was still bluffing with tareo which saitama noticed.
12: ah yes we go from everyone dying and saitama being all serious and shit to saitama farting in space and sneezing. and then we go from tareo deaths that’s a joke to saitama TRAVELING BACK IN FUCKING TIME WITH MARTIAL ARTS AND SAYING THAT THEY ARE COOL FROM A GUY THAT KILLED HIS BEST FRIEND AND OTHER HE CARED ABOUT LIKE KING. and then completely undermine the conclusion of the arc by taking away garou’s speech and making the heroes not want to kill him even tho he was about to kill all of them which they still should have been affected by the radiation but i’m just repeating myself. 13 bad conclusion: compare to the web comic its insanly rushed and has no impact compare to the web comic. nobody wants to finish garou off even tho he was a treat beyond his web comic self. he literally was throwing nuclear punches and almost destroyed the planet with the gamma ray burst. and he just gets off free because of bang with no development or shit. he is still the same person. which is awful for his character growth which is showed in the newest chapter. 14: AND NOW THE BIGGEST POINT. bad adaptation. the web comic fight is massively superiour in writing paneling story telling character development conclusion humour narrative and overall building up the future of the story with later events. I might even go as far to say some of the art is better like the you chicken scene smoke. Or garou’s general design with his cracked skin like shell instead of it being a literaly bland shell. We have released boros at home. Released boros at home looking ass.

15: AND because they ruined the very thing that made me a opm fan. i heard about garou and i was very interested in him soo i started to read the manga and watch some videos about it first. soo when the monster garou vs sclass and saitama was about to the adapted i started reading at around chapter 146 daily. but after s class vs garou was skipped i already lost hope and the actual garou vs saitama made me actually hate it (even if i didin't minded it nearly as much as i do now).

they turned my most awaited and generally favorite fights and moments in all of fiction for me to my single most hated piece of fictional writing ever. i despise this fight and no amount of counter arguments will ever change that.

And mind you this is just talking about cosmic garou. I could make an another thing like this for him but i do think you get the point by now.

there's just something really charming about this design

armadillos generally already have peak animal designs soo turning the scales in to a set of armor is a fitting concept for a knight. the choice of him being mostly dark green colour combined with his more light green armor tone armor makes him more standing out rather than him being just brown outside of his underbelly that is (also his long ears are neat)
