i was reading the whole transmigration thing in this sub and wondering if this is a common thing in c-dramas (poj is one of the three cdramas I've seen i haven't seen much, and the other two was a long time ago)
i assumed cpr was a thing back then that maybe they knew, and i thought maybe they had an idea of tooth cavity too. but I saw the red nail colours on her fingers and i thought hm now that's just messy, why would they do that, but then i thought maybe ancient China already came up with it and they wore it.
i just kept telling myself I didn't know better lol. so i just finished the show and i was looking up stuff in this sub reading about qianqian and then the nail paint memory hit me. I noticed others had done their nails too but it was usually just a natural color but polished and shaped type of look. qianqian was the only one with red nail paint on.
it seems from the posts and comments here that the novel directly implies she time travelled. so i guess it's true then. and that explains the nail paints. they weren't being careless and doing whatever they want, they were actually being the opposite and providing even tiny details, so cool!
(unless plenty of other characters had it and i just didn't notice. then I'm just a clown posting this ig)
believe me, or don't. doesn't matter, it's bound to happen.
11 years with a man, two children, relocating from US to Europe to prioritise her children and support his career, putting her own career to the third. all so he could go cheat with a younger new woman. THE Shakira ke intha nelamai na...😞
long story short, i messed up a patch of skin on my face around 2022 using lakme vitamin c serum like a dumbahh. didn't realise what I'd done and went to the derm, so with my lack of knowledge and hence lack of telling her what was happening properly, and the awful timing and the derm not diagnosing me properly, i left the derm's with a glycolic cream and a moisturizer. it made it worse. struggled a long time trying to figure it out myself until i figured my barrier is damaged. i decided to come to this sub and ask help with choosing the right moisturizer from the ones I finalized, and from there I went with the venusia ceraplus. over the year, i was not consistent. until i realised I had to be. once i got consistent it healed. i forgot it healed until one day i randomly realised it had healed. i now use the moisturizer on my whole face and neck everyday, it's a habit now.
so now my damaged skin patch has healed and it makes my skin generally better. thanks for helping me pick a moisturizer that day! i also stopped putting soap on that patch of skin and only used water to clean that spot, and that helped a lot as well.
i love this moisturizer now. and will try the re-equil one after I finish this.
i did this to myself and took years to fix it cause I'm a clown.
they still keep choosing, giving, and staying, repeatedly participating in a culture that wants them tortured or dead or tortured to death either over 80 years or maybe in ten minutes idk.
i don't feel sorry for women who can do better but choose not to anymore. i genuinely only feel anger, and then i try to push it away and try not to think about it. there's always those women who show up to tell you that not all men, because they've got a man who is decent. somehow i almost never see these good men go to men's spaces where they generalise women and tell them it's not all women cause their wife/girlfriend actually makes them happy as much as these women feel the need to "if it's of any help my husband yadayada" to a woman who's having a valid reaction to patriarchy. the excuse is that men should be ignored, they're stupid, it's not all men only some, but when it's a woman reacting to patriarchy, suddenly it's "women are better than men, we shouldn't be like them, feminism isn't about giving up on men, good men are still there" you just can't leave them be.
you just have to come tell us about your decent husband so some woman can continue to hope and give ten shitty guys a chance for one bare minimum guy, who benefits off the shitty men cause now his bare minimum is great. you simply hold women to insane standards and hold men to no standards. we have to live in a patriarchal world and remember that not all men are the same, there are still good men, you can still consider choosing them and looking for them. but men can live in a world that benefits and prioritises them and also still hate on us, murder us everyday, and online? they're just a small population online, the good men just ignore them, mute their spaces, cause they're silly, they just avoid them, the good men are busy irl, that's why they're not online fighting the awful men. they just ignore the awful men when they're online. i sincerely hope the women with decent husbands also just ignore the women posting about living in a patriarchal world. we get it, your husband loves you, he hasn't murdered you and treats you like a person he loves. how amazing, please log off and order him a medal.
how are you in this day and age choosing a man, choosing to bring children, little girls into this shitty society, simply because your immediate surroundings seem good, I will never know. i do not understand. i refuse to feel sorry or care for women who are educated, who are privileged enough and can avoid marriage and childbearing, but still choose it, and continue to contribute to a world that hates you. i don't want to hear about how they've been mistreated or hurting. yeah no shit. what were you expecting? im not saying staying alone is easy, and i don't think it requires being brave, i think all it requires is empathy. for yourself and for children. you can be scared af and do it scared.
if you do not love yourself, you cannot love others. anyone claiming they can, is lying and don't know love. people who don't love themself, who don't care about themself are dangerous. they harm others. they lack empathy. im not saying people who care for themselves cannot be dangerous, no that's not what I'm saying at all, they absolutely can be just as dangerous or worse. but, people who do not love or care about themself, will not love or care about others. not truly, no. and they're scarier because atleast the self serving person is obvious to the eye. the self hating good person that puts others above themselves, often don't appear as what they truly are at first, they carry the good person label. they're deceiving, they bring your guard down, and they're not safe. thats scarier.
women who don't love themself are a threat to other women.
trigger warning: SA? enaku therila but i felt violated lol
i was walking around in a department store. turned a corner....one of the staff, who was talking to two other staff behind a counter, walked up to me, grabbed my lips, literally antha duck face pannuvangalla photos ku antha maari, but very harshly, like it hurt. i literally pushed her off, and held my mouth, shocked. i didn't know whether to cry or what i was just shocked. the two behind the counter were also shocked and looking at her like wtf are u doing. she just said something to them and moved away. idek wtf I did id literally just turned a corner, taken three steps and it happened. i just moved away looking at her over my shoulder with a wtf face.
i was honestly scared to report cause she was talking a bit loudly and animatedly she looked intimidating. this happened years ago. appo appo manadaiku nenavu varum. varapolam apde oru ara utrukanum nu thonum. kovama varum. my lips almost bled bro, like i could taste blood a bit. granted my lips were dry so they bled easy that day but wtf. she was fucking crazy wtf who tf does that. it seemed like she was proving some point to the staff behind the counter.
anyway. i hope karma makes her pay for it. im a woman btw.
i like chocolate and vanilla flavour. i only want suggestions from broke people cause for some reason the folks claiming to be middle class also appear to be wealthy in their choices here.
so broke people who drink milk in the morning (not tea or coffee) whats the best budget drink mix in my preferred flavours? im down to trying different flavours as well if you can suggest something good.
so far I tried junior Horlicks vanilla but it's a bit grainy in milk, i don't like that. currently drinking horlicks chocolate. i don't add sugar to my drink, what's in it already is enough for me, mentioning it in case it helps.
(don't want viva, maltova, Bournvita or boost)
Id been wanting to do this kind of eggs where there's a faint layer of white on the yolk. asked how to do it here, and took the advice. thanks to whoever it was that shared what they do. cracked open the egg on the pan, closed it with a lid and yay I got it too!
sold by RK world infocom. ive heard people somewhere on reddit saying you can trust them, and I think I've bought a dove body wash from them which was fine. I'd go for it if I wanted this, but you all make your own judgment. here's the link
they're both usually the same and I can't stand them. they literally cannot use their own brain if their life depended on it. I'm convinced that if it wasn't for the internet and all these labels and groupism, they'd be a very regressive and conservative.
these people thrive on putting down others while simultaneously posing as someone who wants to help the very people they shame and push away.
for example i saw post earlier about ayurveda being bullshit. ive personally been screwed over with ayurveda by someone who was pretending to know it and I have a trauma based aversion to it. and even I have the sense to not completely shut it down. i want proper R&D invested and actually done on it. it had worked when nothing else was there, so i think it won't be completely useless, and i think since it would have local sources, we might even bring something completely new to the world with it, and it could also provide affordable version of existing medicine or something new.
pseudo intellectuals defend modern medicine to hell and back when its notoriously misogynistic and hasn't even developed with consideration to literally half the population. they can give it a chance and wait for it to do better after traumatizing women for centuries, but God forbid they give a chance to something that wasn't found by a white man. those men didn't even think it was necessary to wash their damn hands, when it's a basic understanding most local healers elsewhere were doing. I'm not saying this as an excuse to prop up non modern medicine today, I'm just talking about how much is excused and somehow that consideration isn't extended to these other practices, they literally talk like the white men that kicked off what modern medicine is today. they don't want to push for R&D for ayurveda they don't want it given a chance at all, they talk as though they've completely studied it and it's useless. they'll wait until the west does what we're supposed to do and then they'll lap it up.
they're also hella selective in what they call out. majority of the voices online and elsewhere is heavily male centric and it pisses me off. they usually have the better side of all these oppressions they talk about. religion, patriarchy, racism, it all goes hand in hand. ive seen them make fun of religious women with zero consideration. i have more empathy and consideration as a woman who's been screwed over by these women than these men and privileged women do. i hate it here. there's also those women who constantly yap about Hinduism bad, but are quiet when it's any other religion. and the whole misogyny exists "because boys and girls don't talk in school" like fuck off. plenty of other countries have it despite not being segregated based on gender. and if it truly were the issue then women would be acting like men too. how come y'all don't want the women only coaches gone then?
they just mimic other people, start frothing at the mouth the moment it requires some nuance or discussing something that isn't popularly known, or empathy. they're also sometimes stuck in that phase I had in 7th grade where i thought emotions meant lack of logic and being emotionally stunted means one is smart, where i went about saying "feelings don't change facts". to watch them do it as an adult is cringe af.
India's progressive liberal population that is actually capable of using its brain is far smaller than we think. I'm not saying I'm part of it, but id like to believe im definitely not part of the pseudo intellectual clown club.
from the top left: ashoka halwa, poori, thenga chutney, pongal, urulakilangu for the poori, vadai, kaara chutney, and in the center there's a little ghee dosai but made like a small utthappam without the onions and stuff and a single big idly. sambar came in a seperate tied packet, you can see it at the top peeking into the picture.
finished it off with a filter coffee ofcourse.
its going to get worse for women.
yes i expect you to blindly trust me. or don't. you'll see it anyway. and you know what's even more scary? you might even watch women defend it. or just sit there and be like "yeah, that's bad" avlo dha. they won't get angry or anything. yeah. just watch.
