When comparing the two industries, I noticed that gamers were in a much more positive position towards the industry than movie fans, alot of games that have released in the last few years have received high praise and gathered alot of success to the point that they are even being adapted to shows and movies. When looking at the movie industry, however, I noticed there was a lot more cynicism and hate towards the industry. Major films and franchised have bombed and left a lot of fans disappointed. I'm just wondering why it seems that the gaming community has a more positive outlook compared to the film industry.
